Nice place to relax. Small park but very nice views all around.

A small, beautiful and quiet park, CP has a beach for relaxing and swimming, a walking path for exercise, a playground for the kiddies and lots of grass for frisbee/ball throwing/kite flying or whatever. During the spring, the air is fragrant with Autumn Olive and roses. Bunnies, squirrels and songbirds abound. Benches and picnic tables provide great places to sit and eat lunch or just enjoy the view. There is a bathroom, but it hasnt been open this year. Portapotties are provided, instead.

We swim long distance open water training there during the season. Often mostly clear water except for periods after heavy rain. Tides and currents are tricky out there and weak swimmers should use caution and pfds. Always be vigilant with children! The park always has people there, morning til sunset. Great swing set for kids, nice for flying kites and picnics. Rest rooms during the season. Many litter bugs, so do your part and pitch it and help pick up others blatant ignorance. Its a city park, so the municipality does a good job keeping grounds. Good fishing? Ive never caught anything there, but during striper season and bluefish season, your chances are greater. A nice spot to get right up to the beautiful bay; terrific 360 degree views of the water, lighhouse, bridges and Providence.

This is an interesting spot. It sits right where the outer Narragansett Bay meets the inner one. It was easy to get to and park and the views from the point are amazing.But heres the caveat, you really cant use the beach. Theres literally a permanent sign (in one of my photos) that reads Polluted Side.Beautiful spot, nice for a walk or to relax by the sea, but thats it.

My firsr time to a beach in Rhode Island. Not far from the airport, 4 miles. I saw seagulls close up for the first time. The beach was very busy and this nice man named Jack, 84 yrs old, came up to talk to me and shared history and gave me a finger point tour across the waters. :) lots of kids. Very family oriented and popular. Can see the lighthouse from across the way, the Shoals Lighthouse. There is a park for kids, a beach that goes into a strip out into the water. Nice place to go and take a break from life. Thanka for the tour, Jack!

Its a beautiful area especially if you are into R and R. I have seen some people fishing, doing picnic or having a photoshoot. Parking is limited but once you are there you dont want to leave. RIP Julian Patzan, coming here is sad without you around. However, I know your eden is safe and clean :)

Hidden gem! Ive lived in Warwick for 12 years and never really came here until recently. Great beach to bring the family for the day or just to walk the beach. Ive seen many people fish here too. Offers great views of the lighthouse.

Beautiful spot for walks, or just having a seat and looking at th views and Conimicut Lighthouse. There is also a playground for kids.

The park here is clean to just laze about. We saw a lot of people just put up their camping chairs and snooze off. The beach on the other hand is not really walkable as it hasn’t been cleaned up as much. There’s broken shells and rocks that would make for a not so pleasant walk.

It was pretty here. If you like to pick seaglass go out to the point during low tide and walk along the sand bar. You can see all kinds of seaglass and shells. Nice view of the Conimicut Lighthouse also.

The views of Narragansett Bay are always spectacular. If you go at the right time you can walk along the sand bar, always a great time

Gorgeous day! Walked the beach...sat on my blanket and dreamed...read a book...watched the clouds and boats go by....collected shells and rocks.. Today was MY time to sooth my soul!

The only complaint I have is the bathrooms are always locked every year when I come to celebrate the 4th of July on the beach. Its also full of broken shells everywhere! You cant ever walk around barefoot. The water isnt the greatest to swim in. So if you want to go swimming dont come to this beach. Nice for kayaking, beautiful views around the bay and I love the playground for the kids. And dogs are allowed.

I wish the city would beautify this beach. Its a beautiful part of the ocean but the park needs people working there to keep it clean.

Park is nice to relax and sit by the water on the grass or benchs. The beach hasnt been cared for in YEARS. It sand doesnt get combed before the season so theres shells, seaweed and sand fleas who lay their eggs. Water suspect and Ive lived here 55 yrs and remember when they gave a sh#t about the beaches. Were the Ocean State for Christs sake.

A not-so-hidden gem. Highly recommend, but leave loose papers in the car because it gets super windy.

Its relatively close in comparison to hitting all the south county beaches and traffic. Nice place to relax, swim, or fish and its free. So you really dont have to pay a large beach fee and drive to Guam to do all of those things.

Still kind of gross, they seriously need to spend some money cleaning the beach up, but its still great to go fishing there. Swim at your own risk, there are signs that state it is a polluted area, but nobody really seems to pay attention to that.

Conimicut point is on the west shore of Narragansett bay. Nice place for a walk. At low tide you can walk out on the sand bar on the point and get a great view of the light house that helps vessels navigate the channel .

Clean, quiet beach with a wonderful playground. Brought my nephews there and we all had a great time.

I love this beach. Ive visited alot of beaches and this would have to be top 5. I also like how you can drive up to the water. But the dragonflies and butterflies made it so hard for me to really enjoy. I hate bugs.

I took my dog to work on her training

This was a surprise discovery while we were in Rhode Island. We were passing through and needed a place to break up the trip. The park is right next to the water and we had a beautiful day. If you are in Warwick I would definitely check it out.

I love it because it makes my mom happy. Always at peace when I visit.

Conimicut will always be a beautiful spot in Rhode island and this review could not do it justice... Just check online or with a local as to whether its safe to swim, as bacteria levels are inconsistent and often too high.the single rest room in the park is hardly ever cleaned, though everything else in the park has been renovated and repaired.

I love Conimicut Point Park, it is especially peaceful during early evening. Personally, for me, it is a tranquil place to do some thinking. The light house does it for me, as well as the ocean smell!! I have gone there for many years and left with a new perspective on life. Highly recommended!!!

Close to home very few people know this place; very nice. Many people come for fishing. Fresh air, relaxed and not crowded. I do not go to the beach, but really enjoy the relaxing view of the ocean. Picnic areas available. Playground also available.

Love this place its beautiful its great its a fantastic place to bring your dog and you can bring them there year-round just make sure you pick us up to yourself having the peninsula go out to the lighthouse is awesome especially for the puppies.

We were here for food truck night. It was a fun and cozy evening. This beach has great views. Warwick beaches always surprise me. You go from suburban development to BEACH! in moments. Anyway, I had fun here.

Love coming here. I can bring my kids and the dog. They all have fun by the water and the kids can switch it up with the playground. Theres a public restroom as well, which is very convenient.

This was the first public beach we came across since arriving in LaGuardia. When we arrived, no one was swimming and I was the only person wading through the water. Later, as we cross to the other side of the shore, we see signs that say no swimming, pollution... The other shore does not have these signs which is odd to me because its the same darn water.

The best place to just sit still & be in Gods presence.

A quiet gem. Great for walking the dog or to sit on the sand and contemplate. Very kid friendly.

The playground was clean and had swings, slides, climbing steps, an awesome seesaw, and a merry-go-round. The beach area was sub-par. The bathrooms were not open, but there was porta-potties. There is a clear view of a lighthouse. There is a sand bar, and a grassy area. The area is quiet

A nice little beach/park with great views and awesome seashells. It’s in a perfect location to view the whole Narragansett Bay, if you walk out to the point you’re basically right in the middle of it. Dogs are welcome anywhere but the beach which is a big plus for me. Only downside is how hot the sand gets, bring beach shoes!

Wonderful little beach off the main road. It does need some good clean up. In the summer there are life guards on duty and a playground for kids
