This road has the mansion that belonged to Republican Senator Nelson..his daughter Abagail married a Rockefeller.. beautiful landscape and other houses where people who cared for the mansion stayed in in late 1800s and off this road is Rocky Point at the time Nelson owned all of the land from the lighthouse to the mansion. Its about 1.5 miles of long peaceful road.
No place to park and no access to place.
Looked at website, had lighthouse as being open. We got there, was closed, looked at reviews. Everyone stated closed, would it hurt someone that keeps website, to update status to public.
Couldnt get there. Its apparently off limits due to the Coast guard and Homeland security
Waste of 1 hour drive!! Blocked off by Coast guard.
Could not get near lighthouse, under lock n key.
Nice
Not open to the public. Very disappointed
A wonderful view. I have been going here for years.
US Coast Guard property. The lighthouse has a wonderful view of the New England coastline. Not for general public.
Wish it was open to the public
Although a good looking lighthouse, not really meant for visitors. Would not recommend as a destination if youre visiting the area or trying to get up close to a lighthouse.
Was cold and snow on the ground . So it wasnt open but some nice views of the ocean.worth a look if you are in the area..
We went out of our way to stop and see this lighthouse. Once arriving at the end of the road, we were greeted with not just one, but two chain linked fences. While you could see the lighthouse from the road, behind the fences, you certainly could not get close. We found it very disappointing.
Pretty lighthouse but unfortunately the entrance to the lighthouse is gated!
My favorite fishing spit by far and what a view amazing
Great place
Gated off; US Coast Guard and Homeland Security property.
Like all the other reviews cannot get in to see it
Not able to access. Just by boat.
Beautiful!
Beautiful
Too short
If I could get past the fence, they would get more stars.
Beutiful
Couldnt get to it. Closed for tree removal?
Walked to the Warwick Neck Lighthouse
Best spot on Warwick Neck
Beautiful
