Its a beautiful walking area. The water views are incredible of the bay and the memories of those of us that are old enough to have visited the park in its hayday will flash back to some of the best times in our lives. Please get a copy of the Rocky Point DVD. Time travel is possible even if it is in our own minds. Get it then go there and go back in time. Chris B

I really liked the park here. Has a nice shore walk which is very well maintained. Is a good place to relax and the views are great. I also got to know that there used to be an amusement park at the exact same place. You can see some pillars/poles that carried cable car lines here.

This park is really well kept! The middle area is a bit swampy in places, but overall it’s really nice. There’s a cute new pier that people fish off of and all of the leftover park things are really cool to see and hang out near!

Awesome place to go for a walk or jog. Leashed Dogs welcome! Beautiful views of the Narragansett Bay surrounding the park! The newly built Pier is pretty awesome too! Great for families and a great place for a picnic! Outdoor restrooms. One of my favorite parks!

Located along the coastline with a safe walking path and a beautiful pier. A calm beach that ideal for families. Plenty of seashells to collect!Serene and peaceful. Dogs friendly. Family friendly. A real gem!

Walking around the nicely paved path was great, until we ventured off the path to take in views of the water from the higher ground. Just behind the skyliner is a great panoramic view of the ocean view. Several informational areas explain how important and historical this site has been during the last 200 years.

Great place to just relax and go fishing or swimming, you can shell hunt, go for walks,runs, ride your bike, anything here. This place is wide and full of adventure. You can do anything if you have a brain and everyone here is respectful.

Theres also a dock for fishing!Theres also a lot of history here, with plaques and structures that tell us about the amusement park that was.Overall a great place to go! Alone, with friends, family, its wonderful!

I am glad there is a state park instead of new condos or houses. A great view of the bay. Great place to bring kids to run around or have a picnic. A beach is also a nice touch. A walking path around the park also available.

A wonderful place to be near the edge of the ocean and enjoy the waves. Not really a swimming destination. There is a nice well built modern pier you can walk out to enjoy the wildlife and waves. Excellent open grounds to fly a kite or walk. There are remnants of the old amusement park like an arch and the edges of a swimming pool with signs showing the history of the area. Could use more bathrooms. The ones present are new but single person only so you can have a wait. Do not expect food courts or amusement rides. Its just a place to relax and enjoy the ocean in the Ocean State!

Its a great park for a quick loop walk, great views and the new pavilion is so nice!

Nice fishing pier, beautiful views. Did catch a few fish, which was exciting. I would definitely go back again, but be warned, later in the day i felt like more less desirables came out. Just my opinion and observation.

Warwick is a great place but it gets its name form Warwick in England thats the UK. The Warwick in the UK has a big stone castle unfortunately this Warwick here does not. However, they do have some cool places and this is one of them.

Brings back a lot of memories from my youth. Place is clean. GreT place to walk, has a 1.5 mile track that goes through some wooded areas then out along the bay. I recommend going to enjoy the ocean breeze

Was great reading the signs around the park about the amusement park that was once there along with seeing some of the remnants that are left. Great for walking, picnics. Great dock and view of the Narragansett bay!

Such a cool spot to take a nice walk by the ocean and then sit for a picnic after. We were so happy to find this little gem of a place thats away from the crowded beaches in RI. Lots of cool shells and a nice breeze. The amusement park remnants are also really cool to see.

A beautiful rocky beach with a strip of sand and water, and a huge park. My kids just love climbing the rocks here.

Like most parks, Rocky Point is open from dawn to dusk. Unlike other parks, Rocky Point State Park is a shallow grave of a former amusement park. With some rolling hills, so woodsy trails and terrain, and some excellent waterfront view, it is the perfect place for a little Rhode Island exploration.Depending on which parking lot you park in and which entrance you meander through, youll either see rocky shoreline, or sandy beach. One open field has what looks to be a structure that was once part of a large park, but that is adjacent a paved trail wide enough to share space with bikes.There is some technical trails adjacent the rocky shoreline that really carries with it some fun and distracting terrain. The issue is that the park is small enough that about 30 minutes of jogging covers a majority of the connecting trail system.However, there is some sandy beach both south and north of the park, accessing either private shoreline, or a road that may eventually connect to a park north of Rocky Point.Bring a dog, bring a family, its diverse enough that youll find enough natural wonders that you might want to examine it more. Recommended, definitely good for a picnic

Brought back great memories from the 80s and 90s. Park was very clean and presentable. Multiple people were attending a yoga session where the old pool was located. At the end of the day, when you return to your car, you get to enjoy flavored lemonades from the lemonade truck.

I miss the old Rockey Point. Rides and food. I hope they do something with the land around the old Rockey Point or at least the food.

A beautiful day for a walk near the shore. Rocky Point used to be an amusement park. Thr walking path is well maintained . The pier is a new addition and open to all who want to fish or stroll its length.

Great place to take the dog or kids. Lots of shoreline access with a nice walking trail. This place used to be a popular amusement park if you didnt know. The rides are long gone but you can still see some remnants of the area as it was when they were there.

Beautiful grounds complements of Mother Nature and the hard work of the employees that maintain it.

Rocky Point park is so beautiful :) and they recently did a lot of work on it too. They have little bathrooms now every so often not just port a potties. There are plenty of spots to sit and have a picnic and lots of water access. There can be a lot of people there without it feeling crowded.

My husband Ken and I went walking through the paths at Rocky Point it was absolutely beautiful staring out into Narragansett Bay and just the beauty of the park says it all cant wait to go back

Nice walkway and a fun place to relive old memories. I gave it two stars because on Saturdays it seems to attract all the illegals who live in Central falls and Providence. They fish in the swimming area, yell and scream all day, blast their annoying music, and get drunk then leave a bunch of garbage behind. I guess since its not their birth country they could care less about ours.

Its nice but really liked it when it was an amusement park and went to the shore dinner hall for clam cakes and clam chowder.

Typical Rhode Island. The state removes what was its one amusement park and leaves us with a piece of flat land as uneventful as everything else in Rhode Island. Mismanagement of funds again? Rocky Point state park is basically a poor excuse for a park. Yes there is a walking path. Yes it is near some water. Having said that, it is also a sad reminder of what was. Santa Monica Pier, Coney Island, Maryland beaches... why is it other states maintain their amusement parks and Rhode Island couldnt do more to keep Rocky Point?

Beautiful place. Please paint over graffiti to discourage others from following suit.too nice to be marded by people who dont care. I go there as often as I can. One of the nicest places in warwick.restrooms are clean.the only thing that is annoying is the person flying a drone that whining over you when you come that for peace and quiet.*****

I miss the good old days with all the rides! It is nice the location was saved and some areas highlight the popular rides with signs.
