***THE PARK IS CLOSING JUNE 3RD 2019 FOR RENOVATIONS!! This is a great little city park with several separate, yet wonderful portions. This park has a very nice size dog park thats fenced in and provides drinking water, tennis balls and poo bags. There are tennis courts, horseshoes, skate ramps, a play ground with tire swing, monkey bars, slides, and more!! There are restrooms, and huge pavilions with plenty of room for multiple parties and lots of people at once. Theres also some trails that lead out through the woods that we love to go walking on and explore!! Fantastic park!!!

I was the first sight Foreman at Woodstock Park under Crowder construction. I am proud to say that Crowder goes the extra miles to make sure everyone is safe at their work sites. Crowder takes great pride in their work and in their people. Crowders strives to do the work correctly and on time to satisfy their customers. Hrsd has chosen another top company to assist. Team Pain who are the best at what they do and a great bunch of guys. They Design and build skate parks. If your wondering if the older designers still skate. Well heck ya, theyre living their dream and will l be the first ones to skate this awesome park. Theyre always chasing the sun.

We enjoyed our brief visit to Woodstock park. Lots of open space, a free dog park and ample parking. Looks like the park is closing on June 1 for renovations. Never understood why public parks and facilities are closed to the public during times of peak use. Who closes a park in the summer?

Brand new skate park being built

First time here and loved it! Beautiful park, very clean, two large dog parks with shade and plenty tennis balls! Also areas for tennis and skateboarding. Only reason I didn’t give 5 star was because there was no one here and no dogs to play with :(

A lot bigger then it looks from the road. Quiet and clean.

We really loved this dog park! There are a lot of very friendly, playful regulars. NOTE: As of June 3rd, 2019 the park is closed for renovation. There is supposed to be a temporary dog park nearby, but I am not sure exactly where. (I will update this when I have more information)

Nice layout, pleasant park atmosphere with lots of trees. Playground facilities are ample, and theres lots of shelter space with grills. Im excited to see the park after the upcoming renovations (6/2019) are completed.

It looked like a well kept park. Not many using it, not crowded at all. Its a place of beauty and nature. Wish I had the time to spend to enjoy it. Owning a business does not leave you with lots of time. If you have the time injoybthis park and others, take lots of pictures, lunches in the park, dog walks, listen and learn, play.... All that can be done there and also wonderful memories.

Nice dog park. Medium sized fence in space to play and run free. Lots of sun, not much shade...

Very nice park with a little forest nearby. I like that it is enclosed overall so the kids can roam freely, there is no street nearby. It has plenty of shade so I like going there in the summer. In the fall I go there to collect leaves. I havent seen it crowded so that is also a plus.

The park is very nice and there are rarely any people there. My dogs also love coming here to run around in the dog park. I took away one star only because there is one small parking area.

Great dog park with lots of regular pups and parents. I enjoy going here its convenient for me. I would like to say my only complaint is that there isnt a separated area for smaller dogs and/or puppies. Its still great to come to & all the owners are very alert and pay attention to their dogs but smaller dogs.

Such a nice park with so many things for just of all ages to enjoy. Love that they have tables and grills as well.

Woodstock is a great park. Lots of shelters with grills, a large playground, a skatepark, and some nice jogging trails. There are permanent toilets and water fountains here. Some of the trash cans seem to get pretty full before they are emptied though.

The shelter that we rented for our company cookout had no power and the representative did not make us aware of this.The power has been out for over 10 years. Shelter 3 which is in the back behind the office. Other than that we had a great time. Staff was a little slow emptying trash cans

Good place for barbecues. They have a skate park, volleyball nets, a dog park, and a little wooded trail.

No water accessible to dogs, bathrooms loved but a good start

Great park for kids, but parking can be a bit annoying. There is nothing close to the playground except for the handicap spots. If you coach, the field is maintain frequently so holding a soccer practice is great. They also have a baseball field. The kids park itself is well maintained too.

Wonderful park for the boys. Enough things to do without so large a place that I cant keep a good eye on them.

I love this park.... It is set back, much of it under the trees, with great little open paths leading to shelters, bathrooms, tennis courts, two playground areas, a baseball field, several large shelters with grills....There are lovely flowers in the spring and summer leading back to the playground/more wooded areas.Lots of open areas to run and play. Oh, and a dog park AND skateboard park, which is entertaining to watch even if you dont use it.Good parking...a little hike to get back to the playground... Important to consider if you have straggling little ones, but that also means most traffic is away from the kids.There is a turn about for drop offs and pick ups right be the skatepark, play areas and bathrooms.I love this park. Feels cozy and more in nature than many of the more open parks :)

Nice clean landscaped park. Great place to take your dogs for a stroll. Has skate board park for the kids, tennis courts, volleyball area, softball field and several picnic enclosures with grills.

A relaxing place to hang out. Park was very quiet since I went there in the cooler months. Small but nice with clean facilities.

Had my sons 8th Birthday Party there...it was great!! Brought a bunch of sports equipment and had a blast!!! We played baseball, kickball, tennis, soccer and the kids had the most fun on the skate park!!

This is a nice park. The space is small compared to other dog parks. This is one of the ones you have to pay for, however it is very clean.

I enjoy the dog park for my dog and the regular park for my grand babies!

Great Park for almost any activity. Park has a dog park that has a good area in the shade. There are tennis multiple Tennis courts that are very well maintained. A decent size playground that has 2 areas divided for younger and older children. Multiple Pavilions for cookouts and parties. A nice skate park that is pretty big. The park even has Horseshoe pits. The only reason for not having a 5 star rating is because of the baseball field. The field is poorly maintained compared to the rest of the park. Grass has overtaken the diamond.

Very crowded, good and bad! Too much dirt no grass anymore. Some dogs dont play with others well.

There are two dog parks runs here but the nicer one with grass always seems to be locked. And during the winter the way fountain for the dogs is turned off.

I havent been to this particular park yet, but wanted to respond to Ms. Diamonds remarks, two sides to each story as it may. In Va Beach, for a fee, as long as the owner shows proof of vaccines and proof of current rabies. I for one jump for joy. I dont want my dog getting sick, and neither does it seem most of the other caring owners.8 years old. That is their rule. Have you seen a baby stroller in a dog park? I have. Have you seen how those dogs just love to frolic, run, jump, nip, leap, stumble, bump, and crash into whatever happens to be in their way? They are just being dogs. Small children, for their safety, need to be on the other side watching the show!! I am not being mean or critical. It just needs to be fair to both sides. And the fee in Va Beach.....btw, is for 3 dog parks!!

4.5 stars Good place to bring kids but its to big if your by yourself and kids.

Clean park with nearby restrooms. Mens room has a changing table for babies. The faucet needs to have pressure applied on the handle so it doesnt keep on running.

I was only there a short time, but the dog park was a great place if your a dog. It was pretty big with lots of seating.

Awful, there is a stupid fee for being able to bring your dogs and children under 8 cant be in there. And there isnt a playground for kids near by and its not that great of a space. Not worth it to go there at all. I would give 0 stars if it let me.

Wonderful dog park. The people and their pets are terrific,friendly,and helpful. The workers take good care of the grounds and work hard to keep the place nice. There are an abundance of tennis balls the grounds people toss in that are left behind from tennis matches.plenty of people come with their children and sit on one side of the fence and watch the puppies play. Families can rent space with covers to hold parties. There is a very large play ground towrds the rec center on the back end. There is a skate park, tennis courts and beautifully groomed field to play kick ball, ect. And a volleyball pit. Lots of trees and shade. I love this dog park and the people and pets that go hear are the BEST!!!

Its a nicely kept park. There is an enclosed section near the other dog enclosure that Ive never seen open. The only problem is to pay the fee to use the dog enclosure is ridiculously complicated.

Three large picnic areas with grills and covered seating and tables, a small kids and large kids playground, tennis courts, skate park, baseball field, walking paths, two fenced in dog areas... this is a gem of a public area!

Need to register your dog before you can take them in the dog park.Park attendant only asked to see ours though plenty of people were coming in at the same time.

I love that I see the large dogs always playing and being friendly with the little guys.

Not everyone was picking up their dogs poo out there...

Its a great park to look at all the puppers and doggos.

Like the shaded areas and lots of places to play
