It can hey busy on nice weekends but this is one of the best skate parks in Hampton Roads. They even have a giant (13 ft or so?) half pipe for the brave people. Also its next to Mount Trashmore and a lot of other activities

Just absolutely an amazing park. Its a place to bring the family or just hang out by yourself and enjoy the scenery. There are so many things to do here. There is a skate park, play areas, picnic areas, and areas for fitness workouts. I usually bring my blanket and read a book or I bring the kids out to ride their bikes and play kick ball. They love running up and down the mountain hills. This is a must see and experience when you come to Virginia Beach. The park is huge and everyone of all ages can enjoy it.

Its nice that anyone can go in. Wish it was bigger though. It can get crowded.

I walk here frequently for exercise. Go early in the morning when its not too crowded.

Nice park for a quick run or stroll. Has a lovely park for kids meal plan. And is a ok venue special activities. One major issue is the lack of tree cover.

This is one of my favorite skateparks. The floor is hella smooth and there is a decent amount of room for flatground tricks. People are really nice and chill there. Last time I went some guy helped me with an ollie and showed me how to shuv it, he was really cool. There is also some quarter verts and ramps you can try if youre not a flatground skater. The kids there are nice to sometimes they snake and get in the way but they are little kids so we let them be. The only problem is that they shouldve kept some of the old ramps they had before, but overall issa cool skatepark. :)

I love the park area and it’s put together really well but, why the hell would they change the skatepark... it’s alright but there is so much space that they could have used but they left untouched, and it would have been cheaper just to fix all the cracks or holes THEN TO BUILD A HOLE NEW SKATEPARK, mind you, its sooo much worse. Now, this would have been a 1 star but I’m only giving it 2 because you don’t have to pay anymore...that being said, the skatepark sucks.

Wouldnt let me in, heads up pads are required - looks like she was collecting an entrance fee as well. Didnt find that information online before driving all the way out there.

A great place for fitness and exercise.

We just had a picnic on the lawn. Had a great time, but the bathrooms were in bad shape.

Bigger than the skate park in Chesapeake and all the skaters are way nicer

Great atmosphere, nice community. But the park is a bit lacking if you havent skated very much.

Enjoyed watching the young people on their bikes, skate boards and skates doing tricks and stunts!

They old trash more was much better and more to do. I was surprised it changed, didnt even know it was being talked about. Still a great park that Virginia Beach offers.

The park is huge with plenty of places to play with the kids or get a good run. There are excersize station at every turn with a variety of equipment to use. They have a ton of events you can attend and its the perfect place to go if you want to get out and not spend money!

Skatepark itself is fine, but a great example of government inefficiency. You dont pay at skatepark, but two roads down. Long form to fill out, guy didnt have change, and we took our receipts to skatepark where the guy working the hut took no less than 10 min to write down the same thing on our forms. Took approx 25 min just to pay. Visited two days later, no one at office, went to skate park, they told us to go back to office. Keep in mind, this back and forth is not walking distance. Again, park is fine, just inefficient process.
