This was BY FAR my sons favorite camp. We came back for three weeks worth of camps and a beginners competition. My son got his first (real) skateboard after week 1 and has gained more confidence every day. John is great with the kids, and EVERYONE was happy every day I went to pick up. Honestly recommend it to anyone who is interested in skateboarding...Even if theyve never touched a board before. 5 well-earned stars.

My daughter loved the 3 day sk8 camp. She was nervous because she is a beginner but John quickly made her feel comfortable and worked with her to improve her skills and confidence all while having fun! Highly recommend to all levels of riders.

I give 5 stars to Coach John and his team of fun and energetic people. My 6-year-old son loved his camp experience so much, he is doing it again next week. Not only did he get to work on his new skating skills, but he had tons of fun, memories and new friends. I highly recommend John and his team.

You will not believe the incredible progress of your child not only on the skateboard, but their teamwork skills, and comradery with a group of kids all ages!I have now taken my son to 4 weeks of skateboarding camp and have signed up for more. The progress he has been able to continue is unbelievable- doing “180s”, “dropping in” on ramps taller than him! And my son loves it!John, who is the coach and professional skateboarder, is amazing with the kids! My son is a timid meat head and John was able to work with him for control and overcome his fears. My son has so much confidence on the board! John caters individual guidance for all the children involved! At the end of everyday, he does a show to display the advancement of the kids and the kids are so happy and confident to show off!This is a terrific camp. My family is new in the area and this has been a great way for my son to develop great friends.

My 6 year old son learned so much in John’s skate camp and attended 3 sessions he enjoyed it so much! John did an awesome job of empowering the kids and teaching fundamentals as well as incorporating some tricks that were in alignment with their skill level. It was very cool that all skill levels seemed to thrive in the camp. I definitely recommend John’s skate camp!*

Our 8 year old son has learned so much and had fun at skate camp! John and his staff are great with the kids and it’s really inviting for all levels of experience. If your little one is interested in learning to skate, I’d highly recommend this camp.

John does a great job, you will be amazed at how quickly the kids progress. They keep it age appropriate and safe. Extremely happy with this camp. My kids had a blast.

John is an amazing skate coach and works great with kids of all ages and levels. My daughter just learned how to skate this week and we are all proud of her accomplishments. This was my sons second year at camp and improved so much. They are both already talking about going again.

My 6 year old daughter went into skate camp nervous, but eager. After 5 days with Coach Fudala, she is confident on her board and excited to show everyone her new skills. Coach Fudala was very patient with the kids (and new moms to skating) and taught them in a manner and level they could understand! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY! Do you accept 40 year old washed up moms? Haha!

My 7 year old daughter just completed her 2nd skate camp week this summer and I’m not sure who is happier about the experience! She went in curious about skateboarding but not knowing much. She is also quite shy. She left skate camp doing many tricks and feeling confident! She is even bugging me to learn how to skate — although I think it would take a week for me to just get my balance! It’s a friendly environment that really gives the kids a solid foundation, safety rules and the opportunity to move to the next level. Both my daughter and I highly recommend!

John does an amazing job with the kids in skate camp. My son is 7, just learned to skate in May, and already has improved so much. He has learned new tricks and is Feeling very comfortable on his board. John has a great relationship with the kids and the instructors that help out do a great job, too. My son has attended two weeks of camp so far and may return for another week before summer is over. Definitely try it, you won’t be disappointed!Karen Eskridge

I gave the little boy I nanny for Johns skate camp as a Christmas gift. His mother asked him what he liked best about it and he said everything! Jack cant wait to to do another camp!

My boys Jack and Wyatt have had so much fun in John’s skateboarding camp. They’ve gained confidence riding through repetition, learning new techniques and skills that they are able to practice throughout the camp day and then bring home. My favorite part of the camp is seeing how each kid has their own style and is free to have fun individually navigating this wonderful past time! Skateboarding is celebrated and enjoyed both as a skill to learn and a creative form of expression. John keeps it fun with pumping great music...Thanks for a great start to the summer John!

Wow! My son loves this camp so much!! We originally signed up for one week of camp but it was such a wonderful experience we signed up for two more weeks after that. John is like no other sports instructor my son has had. My son isn’t a group sport kind of kid, but this camp has opened up a whole new sport to him. John is encouraging, instructive, fun, and shows a passion for skateboarding. All the kids from ultra beginner to advanced were excited to be learning from John. He and this skateboard camp are a hidden gem. The fall skate camp is awesome too. We bought the punch card and have been able to easily fit skateboard camp into the schedule with this option. We have referred many families to this camp and will continue to do so.

My son had a great time at skate camp with John. He is very patient with the groms. My son has made huge strides this past year with Johns help!

The camp was great! I went with my younger sister and we both had an awesome time. John was a great teacher! He really helped us progress and was able to teach us so much within just 3 days.

My son had a great time learning how to skateboard here. It was his very first time on a skateboard and I’m really impressed at how much he learned by the end of the week. I asked him what his favorite part about camp was and he said “all of it.”

Our grandson, Vaughn, thoroughly enjoyed skate camp with John this past week. He learned a lot and is excited to show his dad what he has learned. His dad is actually a friend of Johns. I enjoyed watching the skaters learn and acquire new skills. John was a great coach and so very patient with all the skaters. Vaughn would love to take another skate camp with John.

I am really impressed with how well my son, Alex, progressed throughout the 3 day camp. He started out with no confidence on his skateboard and now wants to do nothing but skate. He has learned more during this camp than he has in the 2 years hes had the skateboard. He told me he wished we had signed up for the 5-day camp and he wants to do it again next year!

Highly recommended. My 12 year old loved it and can’t wait to do it again. No matter what skill level your skater is at, they will benefit from this camp.

My grandson, who had never been on a skateboard, took a one hour lesson from John Fundala. John was extremely patient and safety conscious. He helped my grandson progress at his own pace. Tyler had a wonderful time and learned a lot.

My grandson Landen Hoover took the 5 day camp and absolutely loved it. John and all of the other helpers did an amazing job! Landen learned so much, and we already went back to Coastal Edge to buy him another board. You guys rock!!!

My sons ages 9 and 10 attended this camp over the Summer. They both were true beginners.They LOVED their time at camp and were excited to share all the new skills they learned. John definitely knows how to foster a love of sport in kids. They both had a blast and asked to attend camp again!!!

My 2 girls took Johns 3 day Camp and learned so much in a short time and was raving everyday about what they learned. John had a great connection with the kids and I would recommend it to anyone.
