This course drainage is amazing. One of the best Ive seen in long time. Beautiful layout, very friendly staff and the drainage is the icing on a cake. Played there in rain and never saw a puddle any where. It definitely got my vote

Just moved from San Antonio, for $48 (mil discount) on a weekend morning is an amazing deal. I was pleasantly surprised with this golf course. Tee grass was a tad long other than that the fairways were great and the greens were in fantastic shape. Will be going here again.

Best course hands down. New owners recently came in and took it from good to great. New carts with USB port for charging etc. The carts themselves were like Land Rovers....the staff and the owners were so great.... I applied to work there part time with the carts crew and its almost been a year. Unfortunately my career is relocating me but I will always consider this place home. King, watson, thanks for such a experience. PABLO ....Ill be back

Really liked the layout of this course. Greens were a little slow but overall conditions of the course were great. Would definitely recommend playing here.

The course is in great shape. Hitting off the groomed fairways is easy and the greens run true, well maybe a bit slow.

The online Tee time booking is a joke. Even though you use Cypresspointcc.com website, you apparently are booking through Golf Now. They charge a $10 fee and the employees at Cypress have no idea how to get a hold of Golf Now or what thier policies are. Freaking JOKE

Course in excellent condition. Greens a little slow but thats to be had with all the rain weve gotten all week. Will definitely be back.

The new owners who took it over have run this place into the ground. They let the pool go last year badly. Broken furniture not replaced, ceiling hanging down in the mens restroom, trash overflowing in containers and this year they decide not to even open up the pool? Lol. Stop calling yourself a country club because without a pool you cant!

Went in for a business lunch(yes, open to the public). Relaxed, food pretty good, prices fair and great views of the greens. Overall a nice place you wouldnt think of to have a quiet lunch. Will do it again.

Multiple cars broken into when I played, with multiple items stolen. Ownership couldn’t care less. Cops said they have told them many times to put up cameras.. not a safe place! Stay away!

Keith King is the PGA pro at Cypress Point now and he’s really fixed the course up nice.

Great little golf course on the border of Norfolk and Virginia Beach. The course definitely plays short but it is very well maintained. The greens are immaculate!

Beautiful course but,...This is a membership club that allows public play. (Nice, right?) Course was in very good shape and fun to play. The greens were consistent. I only give it three stars because of our experience. We played fast golf and let singles and twosomes play through, and still felt rushed. My junior golfers hit the ball well and can keep up with many adult players. (Par players on Par 3s and bogey to double bogey players on Par 5s) This club, on the day we played, had a dominance of upper level players that just made us feel super-pushed. (Two guys that played through as singles, were driving the ball well over 200 yards.) Not anyones fault...just took a lot of the enjoyment out of it. Wed go back if we could find a day when theres typically fewer players on the course. Nice staff in the pro shop and restaurant. If you have junior golfers, this might not be the best option.

We had a Sunday Fathers Day brunch. The food was better than average but not as good as I expected for the price and for an upscale golf course in the area. Service was really good staff was very attentive and friendly.

Course is in great shape and play has been fast. Geeens are medium speed but true. The staff is great and as previous reviewers have indicated the food is very good. Would have recommended.

Course was in great shape ...sand traps actually have playable sand in them ...greens were fast, receptive and true. The golf carts are the most comfortable you will ever ride in and have working USB ports.

Nothing bad to say. Love this golf course. Played my first round January 2019. Friendly staff, nice layout. The bar area is comfortable. The course was is great shape all things considered. I look forward to coming back. Back again, this place is consistent. They run it right! And the food is pretty damn good too.

Great course and even better staff. Play here several times a month and enjoy the atmosphere . The greens are ALWAYS in great shape and the course is set up perfectly to walk. If you come to VB I would recommend giving CYPT a go!

Went for thankgiving buffet. Food was good. Service was terrible !

Had a good time with my family playing golf. Great customer service! Was the last one on the coarse and had a good time and guys working were just awesome. Greens are well kept and the food there is real good! Coarse is also real long. Some might like that and some not so much!

Great course, challenging greens

Far superior to most VB public courses. Entire course is in great shape, big shout out to the greenskeepers and the entire course staff. Grill food is a little slow but good, call ahead. We called from the eighth tee box and ordered buffalo chicken wraps, weren’t even on the menu ( which you can’t see from the website) and they were great. Course condition on par with a private club.

Course fairways were kept up. The roughs however were abnormally high. I get it, just keep your drive on the fairway, but lets be honest we are not all PGA golfers.....so my point is validated. The prices for 18 & cart was on the high side. I can golf on a better more difficult course for the same price or substantially lower price.

Used the driving range. Nice practice facility. Golf balls becoming a little worn, they usually get new ones in march. Range mostly dry despite recent rain and cold.

Everything was just perfect. The staff was friendly and super courteous. We got what we paid for and it was worth every penny.

Great fun at CYPC pool today

Ive been working at cypress point for 11 years. Ive never been happier. The atmosphere is fantastic and the members treat me like family. I couldnt see myself anywhere else.

Very well kept this course can be a bit of a challenge but is certainly a lot of fun! Price can be a little expensive but you get what you pay for here. A must play in Virginia Beach

Extremely professional and helpful, especially with event planning.

The pool was nice and quiet however the water was very cloudy, the tables were dirty and the lifeguard(s) was more interested in her friends than watching the kids in the pool. Dont think Ill join again next year.

Course is in great shape and WILL get even better as summer rolls in. Fair price for what youre getting and the food is awesome. I recommend this course to anyone in VA beach looking for an above average course for a good price.

I am giving the country club 3 stars not for the wedding I attended on Saturday night but for the way I was treated by one of the staff working in the golf shop the very next day. I ran a tab behind the bar and in our rush to get the shuttle bus back to our hotel I neglected to pick up my credit card. I phoned the country club immediately the next morning ( Sunday) and spoke with somebody in the golf shop whoever I was speaking to seemed courteous and explained that the staff would arrive in a half an hour and that I could come and retrieve my credit card.Upon arriving at the country club there was no one at the front desk or the bar where we were served. I tried to grab someones attention but I guess they couldnt hear me. So I proceeded down to the golf shop just down the hall to see if someone could assist me there. I explained my situation to the gentleman behind the counter, there was also another staff member there. He was immediately dismissive and rude. He told me that the wedding bar was all locked up and that nothing could be done about my card, until Monday. I tried to explain the situation again and he again was dismissive. I told him that I called and that whoever answered the phone (golf shop)told me that the staff would be in and I could come and get it then. He again was dismissive. I then asked him was there anyone he could ask or call he said no and that I would not be able to get my card until tomorrow. Frustrated at this point I knew was dealing someone who was unwilling to help or thought he was above giving that help. He also asked the other staff member in the store did he know what I was talking about, like I was some kind of idiot. Now I knew I was dealing with an ignoramus.I left the shop and then found another staff member . She immediately checked the bar, and then simply called the manager to find where my card had been kept for safe keeping.Thanks to the lady who was kind enough to help me get my card back so we could begin our journey home.So within 2 mins and one small hallway, I went from not being unable to get my card until Monday to being able to get my card back with absolutely no problem at all.Learning that I was indeed able to get my card back with ease the burly gentleman in the golf shop exclaimed good for you with the same arrogance and disdain that he had treated me with in the first place.

Just a gorgeous course with friendly staff, all you could really ask for in the regular folk tax bracket.

The parking lot reeks of excellence I could not bring myself to enter the hallowed greens.
