Beautiful place. Very sad and somber. So many of the young men were in their early twenties. Some even 17 and 18. May their souls rest in peace.

Cedar Hill Cemetery is full of interesting gravestones and beautiful statuary. The folks that work there are very helpful and kind.

Worth the trip to see the grave of the Confederate Camel. Easy to find, enter on Lindsay street, its in the second plot of confederate soldiers on the left side, second row from the road. Lots of interesting history here!

My father, sister and childrens father are buried here.

Huge place. Lots of history.

Only one star because we came by today, Sunday at 930 in the morning and every gate was closed. The hours here says open 24 hours and the sign at the entrance says 730. Very disappointing.

For me this is the most emotionally moving location in all of Vicksburg.

My Dearest departed Mothers final resting place was well kept.
