Although the grounds are kept perfect, The monthly fee is way too high. I have only been here 6 weeks and I am not a fan of Bay Indies. I am still in my 50’s and feel like a youngster here as most everyone is late 60’s and older. People like to tattle on each other and the place is dead by 9 p.m., My significant other bought this place without me seeing it first as I could not get off work to travel to Florida. We are planning on being out of here in the next 6 -9 months!!

Huuuuge neighborhood! Dont get lost!If you dont live here, its a great place to go looking for yard sales / carport sales on Saturdays!

Beautiful well kept 55+ park!!! With 3 pools scattered around park and lots to do.Tennis courts, shuffleboard and various other things to do. They have a walking trail around outer edge of park. You can sometimes get a good deal on a mobile home.The monthly fee seems a bit high, but as they say you get what you pay for!!! Check in the office because some people rent out their homes. A nice way to see if you like the area. But how could you not love it, its beautiful Venice the city on the Gulf!!!!

Its a pretty nice trailer park. Multiple pools, clubhouses, and activities. We went to see the Bay Indies Choirs Christmas concert.

This place is a complete joke 1 * is too much but zero Stars wasnt an option they waste your time keep your money for weeks just to let you know that they still havent completed the process. They discriminate against veterans. Run as far as you can from this place

I think they need to hire a handyman like me to come in and help some of the people out in there because I noticed a lot of the mobile homes are over grown and they need to be trimmed

This is a very large mobile home park. The entire place seemed to be landscaped very nicely. There are mostly double wide trailers, but mixed in appear to be some beautiful manufactured homes. I was there for the community carport sales. I found a few bargains.

Everybody is friendly and truely want to help you with anything, it is a way of life not just a place to live.

They have every amenity for a residential Park 3 jacuzzi tub and 3 clubhouses and 300 clubs and organizations to join through the HOA.

Proper lawn maintenance is an issue for the overcharged lot renters at Bay Indies...Many do not have lawns, they have lots full of weeds and insect pests... Fortunately, the former lawn maintenance crew quit on them a couple of weeks ago and ELS has borrowed LMC from another property they own to take care of cutting the lots of weeds...

My dear friend lives here. What a beautiful place! 3 pools, walking trails, shore birds walking around, friendly folks,tennis courts, horse shoes, club houses, church, fitness room etc.. A wonderful place to forget about your troubles!

By far, many amenities. More for those with substantial incomes. Rents increasing consistently. If you like clicks, then this is for you. Can find better elsewhere

Lot rent way to high amenities arent cra ked up to be like they say. Neighbors are nosey and think tbey. An do and say what they want

55 plus community. Very large neighborhood. Has a few large lakes with swans. Also several tennis courts. Maintained very well. The residents all seem very nice too!! Also a walking and biking path around the outside of the entire neighborhood.

Nice park but expensive and you have to be careful of your neighbors. It seems all parks that have lots of amenities in Florida are expensive. If you can find a rental under 2500 a month in season you are lucky.

Nice place, lovely lakes and animals. You feel calm but there are a lot of plans to do.

Nice place to live, has 3 club houses, a sauna, 3 whirlpools, 3 swimming pools, horse shoe pits, pickle ball courts, tennis courts, shuffle board courts, a workout room and more. And in season they bring in entertainment like musicians and comedians. All yards are mowed and maintained by a landscape company, which is why I only gave 4 stars. The landscapers were out running noisy equipment around the lanai, where I was setting, trying to have a conversation, after 8 pm.

Very affordable 55+ Community that is so close to the Gulf of Mexico Beaches.

I purchased my home 4 yrs. ago. I was happy here at first. The mgnt. needs to change. Before you buy here, speak with several neighbors. Most neighborhoods are wonderful, however, if you buy in a bad area, you will not get help from the park.

Not taken care of. For the fees they want the place is a trash trailer park. So many for sale should tell you a lot.

I love this place my Grandmother lives here now and ahe loves it. The people are so nice and they have so many activities here its so much fun the pools are big and super clean and the houses are kept so nice

This is my second and last year here. Lot rent keeps going up so does the vacation rental priced. Rentals here are average at best but charge as much as a nice condo. Will never come back. 2 star is all. Can give them!

I just called on a beautiful home. I now know why it was priced well below what its worth. $800+ monthly fee. I told the agent I wasnt interested and thx for calling. Then I started to research. I feel so sorry for those people.

Lot rent is high, an office staff and management which doesnt take residents concerns seriously, numerous tenants who are finding rats present, a maintance crew that prefers to hang out rather than work, routine police activity here for unknown reasons, inadequate lawn service and a very large number of young people living in a 55+ community are all very serious concerns. When you drive through, it looks beautiful, but looks can be deceiving.
