Nice addition to downtown vancouver. I bike along it every evening. Absolutely stunning views. Be warned, lots of foot traffic during the day. I suggests going as the sun is setting.

Gorgeous place to go for an afternoon walk. There were some interesting looking places that served food. They had a small spot for kids to play of to the side of the trail we walked. And I enjoyed the live entertainment that was there the day I was there. I would absolutely go back!

Beautiful walkway right on the Columbia.I didnt find any free parking so parked in a city lot. There are several of these and it was $1.25 for 1 hour, which was long enough to walk doggo the length of the park, with pauses to sit and enjoy. There are multiple upscale eateries along the riverfront as well as several wineries with tasting rooms. A nice outing for the family.

This is a beautiful place to walk, and a great place to eat. We liked Barlows Restaurant on the 2nd floor overlooking the Columbia River. The sad thing is that even though this area is very new, someone has spray painted quite a bit around on the once lovely stonework around the walking trail. Also, watch out for skateboarding. We were almost run into by 3 separate people.

I love how all the photos on Google maps associated with the Couves waterfront show it empty, with zero people. Ha! Good luck ever experiencing that for yourself on a sunny day. Probably because its a great place to spend some time at. Good food, wine and spirits to be had with a picturesque backdrop.

I was born and raised in Vancouver, but moved away several years ago and havent seen the new waterfront until today! And all I can say is WOW! It is a beautiful spot now, very popular with the locals. Tons of restaurants and shops. Small playground for the kids, and a stunning view of the Columbia river. Definitely worth a visit if youre in town!

Ive been in Vancouver and the surrounding areas for a bit over 20 years and never even knew the waterfront was there! Went with a good friend for the first time and it was really cool and a good way to spend a night after a hard day at work. Bunch of restaurants and places to get booze to really get your chill on. Ill certainly be visiting the area again soon!

Was pleasantly surprised at the advancement made on this area. They have been working on it for about two years, and there wasnt much to speak of last time I drove by. Now they have a very nice riverside path that meanders around the base of the Columbia Crossing bridge to the west side of Vancouver fore about a mile. Nothing was really open for business, but the architecture and layout of the area is pretty nice. It makes me laugh how Portland has become a cesspool downtown and by the river, and yet here, within 500 yards, is a clean, and respectable place just across the water in Washington.

My first time checking out the recently re done Vancouver, Washington waterfrontHaving grown up in Vancouver, its really cool to see such a beautiful addition to our waterfront. Lots of seating options, easy, flat walking surface along the waterfront for all abilities including wheelchairs and strollers. They have restaurants to dine at if you want as well as a water feature that will be interactive once completed. There are bathrooms available which are also wheelchair accessible. As well as hand washing stations. We had a few restaurants along the waterfront on the other side of The Red Lion, but this seems more accessible as well as very community oriented.

One of the best places in Vancouver. I constantly go here to take photos. The waterfront will become, if it already isnt, Vancouvers most well known landmark. The pier is beautiful and the lights make for some spectacular photos.I would give it five stars however the city needs to figure out the parking situation. They want for you to pay for parking at all hours, however when their system breaks and the mistake is on their end, they will still have no problem giving you a ticket. The last time I went, I paid for my parking ticket five minutes before 6 pm and the ticket printed for 6pm instead of 7:55pm (paid for two hours). I asked if this was common and the ticket patrol guy said it was. Despite it being common, he said that I needed to buy another ticket or I would get a fine for going over my ticket time. When you visit, just be sure to double check the time it prints on your ticket, so that you dont get a fine.

We cant wait to come back in spring to see the lush landscaping and finalized features!
