A beautiful place to walk away the stress and take in a bit of nature. Take the time to read the signs of information, you just might learn something. The only downside, is its a very popular place. So, be prepared for lots of people. Then, enjoy.
Great trail. Not too busy if you go early. Lots of side trails to explore. Most of the trail has lots of space to stay 6 feet apart from others.
A very large park with several miles of relatively flat paved trails. Additional more challenging non-paved trails. Swimming area is not dog friendly, but areas outside the swimming area include a large creek suitable for dogs.
This is an excellent trail! The only things you might want to plan ahead for - 1) it can be a bit buggy so you may want to avoid dusk if the mosquitoes are out. 2) if there was a lot of recent rainfall parts of the trail may be underwater. Luckily its never very deep and there are often trails around, so just a heads-up! Other than that this is the perfect place for walks, jogs and dogs!
Wonderful walking trail. Every quarter mile is marked. Lovely to walk along Salman Creek and watch for wildlife.
Nice park to walk in, lots of trees and water. Didnt see any litter and it wasnt too crowded at 7pm
Very nice paved path along the creek
Its a nice long flat and paved trail. I think people who have wheelchairs have accessibility to this! Its mostly marshland and is pretty and not generally a crowded spot. Lots of creeks and ponds as you go along. Its a very long trail I walked it once and I believe back and forth I walked 6 miles.
We absolutely loved the place. We did pay $3.00 to enter and walked all the way around and ended up in another park where I saw we could have just driven in without paying.. I’d probably go there next time. But also understand parking fees and why it’s in place. The trash was overflowing, guess there was a game earlier in the day. Otherwise it’s very beautiful to go for a walk with your dogs and family and see ducks..
It’s a very nice place to walk. You can put in a decent amount of miles if you walk the whole thing and then back. Great chunk of nature in the city.
Nice walking area. Not super easy with strollers but can do most of it.
Good place to walk
Took my first stroll with my sister along the path. She has heart issues so we were walking slowly. Refreshing to walk near water with plenty of trees with leaves rustling in the breeze. Well maintained path. The only negative was being startled twice by bicyclists riding up quickly behind us.For me, walking on a shared path is not as relaxing as a foot path only.
This is a great walking trail. Lots of birds including occasional eagle. On a nice day you will have plenty of company. Everyone on this trail has always been friendly and polite. Sometimes bike riders go a bit too fast. I agree with other reviewers that dog owners need to do a better job of picking up after their pets.
Had a great run with my daughter on the greenway. Lots of wildlife. A friendly crowd out there. The unpaved trails were very muddy, but there has been a ton of rain last few weeks.
Beautiful trail along the waterways. A lot of nature.Only reason for 4 stars is that they charge for parking
This is me and my girls favorite spot to muck around at!!!! We LOVE walking here. We go at least twice a week, even when its muddy (off trail). There is a very LONG paved walk and tons of off shoot trails that go to the water or into the forested areas. Theyre are many beautiful birds and ducks, including great grey heron, white heron, wood duck, Canadian geese, osprey, bald eagles (usually in their great nest that you can see off the main trail!), and right now there are tons of beautiful spotted towhees!!One thing I will mention, if your doggo is a scrounge like mine, beware of the snow berry bushes with white berries on them. They are toxic and will cause esophagus burns and irritation in the stomach lining and this can be better or worse depending on your dog. Plus beware of all the wild animal poos all over. Do not let your dog drink and stagnant water as well, but my girl always wants to drink the flowing river water and its always clean. Highly recommended trail and people are always nice here as well.
Dont go there.
Love this place..Lois is fantastic...great food, super friendly.
Fun paved trail through Salmon creek.. watershed? Lots of birds, other wildlife. Places to sit, and or picnic along trail. Beautiful views of Mt Hood on NW end of trail (opposite end from klineline). Can get busy especially on weekends, but people are respectful. I really love this place.
Very well maintained trail and a beautiful place for a walk or jog.
This is a great place to walk your dog and site see while walking a long Salmon Creek River and the turtle pond.
Such a lovely walking, running, strolling trail. Paved and beautiful scenery!! Get out and experience this stunning scenic trail.
Great place to walk the asphalt trail with other moms pushing strollers or dads and little kids on bikes. Also if you have a daughter who plays softball youll probably be spending a few Sunday afternoons there in the spring. Bring your sunscreen. Clean and well kept. Great for someone who is self-proclaimed indoorsey but wants to get out.
Great rain or shine. Well maintained
Amazing, a wonderful place!!
Nice green belt to walk, run, bike, and enjoy nature.
Clean, beautiful, wide paved walkway, view of Mt Hood and the Salmon Creek, so many bird varieties! Great walk for kids!
Beautiful day and beautiful greenway to walk
Great for a 1-2 mile walk with views of the ponds and creek. Good for a bike, board, or run. Try not to stay out too long past dark because there are mosquitos.
Nice place to ride bikes with the kids.
A good walking trail...a small lake with much wildlife. A bigger lake to swim in hot months. Baseball field. Good place to walk dogs.
Everyone is so friendly on this walkway! There is a loop option, which means you dont have to do a boring out-and-back, though with the soaring eagles, beaver-gnawed trees, and natural beauty, out and back isnt so bad either.
Was a super nice trail and enjoyed that it was not crowded.
Paved walking trail along the greenway. 3.1 miles each way. Plenty of parking. Pond for children, restroom, and benches along the trail.
Nice trails to walk. Great place to walk the dog.
Fun place 2 walk & hike
Beautifully maintained.
So beautiful! Started my 5 mile runs here. Want to return everyday!!!!! Plenty of others running and riding bikes as well so you dont feel like you could become the next zodiac victim when theres witnesses every few seconds lol.
Mostly paved trail system great for running, walking, biking, and bird watching
Great path away from any vehicle noise and exhaust. The boys love riding through the water when the creek overflows its banks during spring runoff. Parking at the sports complex lot is free and there are large shade trees that help keep the car cool for when you get back. A pair of bathrooms round out the necessities. Walk, run or bike, the paths are wide enough for everyone. Signs say that horses may use the tail also but I havent seen any for years.
Nice place to take a stroll.
Its simply just a great place to go on a walk
I went with my kids and we had such a good time! Just going through all the trails and finding neat little treasures that only nature can create was a most excellent day.
Beauty and peacefulness blendeded together in a local convenient hideaway.
And you can fish for steelhead in salmon creek which boarders the pathway
Theres a great paved path that great for an inclusive range of ages from kids strollers to learning to ride a bike all the way through senior scooters. At Klineline park end of the trail you relax at a park with a fishing pond, picnic area work playground or relax on the grass. As you head west you will pass baseball fields, ponds where you can see turtles and birds, open grasslands and a wooded trail as you meander along Salmon Creek. The far west end of the trail has more elevation changes which provide a workout that can be difficult for young kids and mobility scooters.Start at Klineline side near I-5 and head west until it starts to get to steep for your group. You can walk for quite a distance before it gets steep.Great for strolling or running.
Loved it! Nice stream nice trails.
Beautiful place to walk and relax.
Place is awesome if you are a runner
Good for enjoying a long walk through nature.
Nice walking trail with a pond and lots of ducks to feed.
This is a three mile trail (one way) that is mostly flat. Of all the trails in the area this is the one where are most likely to see a variety of birds of all types.
Running and walks during sunny weather, perfect
Really nice view friendly animals good for bike riding
Awesome well maintained asphalt path through natural areas with streams and ponds. Offshoot dirt trails to the creek were fun.
Beautiful park with 3+ mile paved trail.
First time visit. Completed 5 Mike walk. Good paths. Bicyclist were polite. Rest rooms are on sight.
Well maintained, beautiful place to run or walk.
This is a nice place to walk. Its a paved trail. Periodically you can hear a bullfrog. Nearly constant birds chirping. Lots of people use it daily.
Wonderful place to walk for everyone!
Was a quick stop, easy to get away to.
Great place to go for a run, walk or bike ride. Lots of nature to see!
Beautiful trail with Red Eared Slider turtles in the pond along with a nutria. We spotted an owl and bald eagles as well. Keep your eyes peeled for exciting wildlife viewing opportunities!
Nice trail, it links to a park and a lake
Nice hike and great turtle pond.
Love to run here. Lots of diverse scenery and wildlife. Well maintained. Most folks are friendly along the way.
Convenient, nice, relaxing
Nice place for hikers, but the playground was for small children.not for kids 7 and up
This is a very nice but very urban park. Great facilities for families with young kids.
Great trails to walk or runDog walking, playgrounds for children, fishing, swimming, there is Snack Shack (when open). Picnic tables, baseball field too
Excellent trail with a wide paved surface suitable for bikes, skateboards, etc. A variety of wildlife, especially birds, provide great scenery. The biggest issue is the inconsiderate dog owners who either dont pick up poop or pick it up and leave the bag.
A great place to get outside and enjoy nature while not having to go far.
Great paved walkways.
One of the best days of my life occured here
Beautiful walk trail. Only thing is be careful at the entrance not to veer off if you have a dog. At the 99th area entrance there is a park that has banned dogs (klineline), but other than that great place to walk the hound or just get some air.
This trail is stunning this time of year!
Nice park with a paved walking trail, ball field and a place to fish.
Great trail to walk or run on.
Beautiful scenery, just wish the bathrooms are better maintained
This is an excellent place to get away from the city without having to go too far from it.There is a pond with a sand bar and play equipment for kids. You can go swimming, have a picnic, or do other things you might fancy while in a greenspace. There is a pretty long walking trail too. It is well maintained and gives you a really nice view of the greenspace. Most of it is paved and wheelchair accessable. The greenspace conservation effort there is quite something. Every year, volunteers plant thousands of trees to help repair the watershed and increase livability for fish and wildlife.
Wonderful walking Vancouver
More walking and views than youll know what to do with.Well used, but well maintained.
Nice and peacefull paved three mile path, great for walking, thinking, and biking.
Beautiful easy going walks through the wilderness
