This was a nice park to take a stroll through nature in. I made a loop around the park and it was a little over a mile long. There are many side paths to wander around on. This park has a lot of birds which is great for wildlife photography. There were not a lot of people which made it quite peaceful. The only downside is the noise from the freeway which is a bit fainter on one side of the park. There is a big grassy area, a restroom, a couple of playground areas and a large covered picnic area.
Beautiful park with part gravel/dirt, mostly paved walking loop and two sets of childrens playgrounds. Great walking loop for shade. Some park goers think rules dont apply to them so there is that. There is parking in a gravel lot, just off Fourth Plain. If you follow the paved part, curving to your left, there is a long set of parking spaces, facing the park. There are more gravel spaces on the back side of the park, by the adjacent neighborhood.
Visited this park Friday 10/16/20 at 10:08am 6 cars parked (the main parking area). 2 handicap plus 18 parking spots, bathrooms (4 stalls), water fountain, picnic tables, benches, trash cans, bike parking, lots of big and grass, 2 small playgrounds, lots of beautiful walking paths, several entrances, big covered party space with 2 grills, ash dump, horseshoe game area, rose garden. I walked around the big loop in the park. This park is close to the highway and homeless people.
All right. Its usually busy but good to go to post volleyball. Basketball is alright too. I mean its actually pretty good. I mean its better than most public schools basketball courts. I mean its literally elite and almost as the NBA. Just have fun and go. Make sure your safe and lock your care when you leave it because you dont want it to get robbed. Cops dont respond as good right now and wear a mask just in case someone coughs. Also, bring water because the water there is alright if your very thirsty, but its not so good. Bring your own and you wont ever complain. Just be thankful for what you have and yeah, have fun. Dont forget though that whatever you do, cause God sees and you and me will have to give an account before God for what and how we lived here. Enjoy what you have 7
Decent park! Theres the back side and the front side of the park :). Theres only one bathroom and its pretty far from the meeting areas. Parking is gravel on the front side. Good times can be had!
Very lovely little park! Has something for everyone- a small rose garden to appreciate, a big open field for outdoor activities, playgrounds for kids, and a nice short wooded trail to enjoy. Theres also a public restroom which is open during Phase 2. Kept pretty clean.
Nice little walk. People very respectful of each others space.
Big beautiful park in the city. Lots of trails for walking or biking. A lot of shade trees if you dont want to be in the sun, as well as large grassy area. Picnic tables and fire grills make it a great spot for an inexpensive outdoor party. And, when were not in the middle of a mass epidemic of CV-19, there are play structures and bathrooms. Plus, two (maybe more) Poke Stops, including a gym, if you or your kids play Pokemon Go.
Gorgeous large park in the middle of Vancouver. Walk on the paths into the wooded section and you forget you are in the city. Large green grass open areas where people play volleyball and team sports. Pretty manicured rose garden. Overall a great park....the only thing that is not perfect is you can hear the traffic from I-205 - but you can pretend it is just the soft roar of the ocean! ;)
This is a beautiful park. The colors of the trees are amazing during the fall.
Grounds were very well kept still the same as 25yrs ago.
Love this park. Forest trail is well kept up. Small little adventure park.
An enjoyable park to visit. There are a couple different play structure areas for kids, fields, and large forested areas with paths to walk. Highly recommend visiting at least once.
Nice little park well kept. Could resurface the parking lot its been bad for years
Its very nice, and I love the paths but I dont like all the homeless people that are sitting around on the benches.
This park is a lot bigger than I thought. Make sure you have plenty of time to look for your car... Because when you start going down the trails, you will get lost really easily.... Lol
This is a very relaxing park, full of lots of open space and trails through the forest! Always very clean and been enjoying this peaceful place for many years now!
Clean bathroom and park was nice clean good place to take pitcher
Nice bathrooms. And little park area and play area lots of room to park
Somewhat creepy vibe. A lot of trees. Ample parking and places to enjoy yourself. Play equipment is minimal.
Very nice, lots of grass and walking paths. Also has a large covered party area with picnic tables and Bbqs
Such a beautiful park! The bathrooms are super clean, the trails are well maintained, and with so many acres, theres space for everyone!
Great time today with someone special. I love you Emily Traxler
Its beautiful with trails and trees. I love coming here
Pleasant place nice trails to walk Im not sura
The park is a very big park and a good place to walk your dog. It has a playground for children and some trails to walk through a wooded park. There a picnic tables and bar b que areas some covered also. Bathrooms and water fountains available. Two large grassy areas to. It even has a rose bed. This is a great family park.
This is a great Park to visit unfortunately homeless have invaded it a little bit and theres some garbage around this is not the fault of park services or the homeless people in question and turn this is a issue with the help that we offer to the homeless in our area but aside from that this park offer is picnicking areas covered her use and even barbecues theres great grassy areas to set up volleyball and Tennis Nets this is a great park for family outings or just to go to walk the dog I highly suggest checking it out for yourself
Great place for hiking or just the walk with your dog
It is good! Just dont go on sundays to the picnic shelter because some kind of religious take it to their worship
I grew up by this park our family played softball here and i had my wedding hereIts a lovley place still after lots of years
Beautiful park with many trails throughout and plenty of room to chill or bbq. Big green space for games. Also has horseshoe pit and a small rose garden.
Nice and clean. Has bathrooms, picnic shelters and play structures.
Great place walk. Lits of trails Good place to meet some like minded people...
Love this park! So spacious and beautiful, lots to do, my 2 year old daughter loves it as well!
Great easy trails for walking with the dogs!!
Lots of open green spaces and pretty walking paths. They cleared out a lot of underbrush a few years back that definitely took away from its charm and beauty. It used to have a wild, flat path hiking feel but now has a more suburban mommy with strollers feel.A bathroom is open most of the time. Dirty, but functional and does its job. The little rose garden is absolutely lovely in the spring and summer. Decent place to play Pokemon Go or Wizards Unite. Lots of parking. There are a smattering of sketchy folk who hang out in the northwest parking section though. They tend to keep to themselves and have never been a bother.Id give it 3.5 stars if I could. Better than mediocre but nothing super special
Great, clean community park. Perfect for a get together!
Ive been coming to this park since I was little, and its still such a pleasure to come here. If its for a walk, party, to let the kids play, or go on a trail, its always a god time.
HUGE open grassy area, rose garden, wooded trails and old trees. Beautiful park
Nice open space for the whole family to enjoy. We were there to rat lunch in the shade
It has both picnic amenities and natural wooded walking trails.
This is a nice park to walk however id Do it during the daylight and not at night time because sometimes at night time there’s a lot of homeless people that like to hang out around there and sleep and will pop up out of nowhere and for your safety there has been occasions that they’re all under drugs and you don’t feel safe because they try to attqck you. but during the summer there’s always people playing volleyball out here there’s a mini rose garden and also you can cook out and do a barbecue by the park it’s well-maintained people are always playing soccer as well and it has a nice picnic area and track that you could walk around and bring your pets.
Nice forested walking trails and playground.
This park really has it all. Open spaces for sports and games, covered areas for picnics, long winding trails in the woods. It is probably my favorite park in Vancouver next to Vancouver Lake.
I go to this park to breath heavily and stare at strangers while wearing a trenchcoat.
This is one of my favourite parks to either run or ride my bike. They have several offroad trails to go on and brings that slice of outdoors to the city. The actual playground is pretty small and boring for my kids however.
Very nice Park I Love it...
Somewhere to just picnic, eating our to go lunch. The pahk what looks like a foooh-rest as my girlfriends daughter called it.
I got dizzy one of those spin thing and I got sick when got back home lol
With in a hr a stranger asked me for drugs
This place is super cool two parks and a bunch of trails:)
Great place to walk your dog or have a picnic
Beautiful walk, and good open space for activities.
Its ok. Need better off leash area for dogs
Grew up going to this park. I remember the tire swing and the wooden play structure, which has all been taken out for very interesting play structure for small children. The trails are amazing if you need a bit of a get away.
Beautiful park with easy access.
Pretty park, lots of trails and newer play equipment.
1 paved trail to walk on, the rest are dirt trails. Nice big open grass area. Great place to hangout.
Trails through the woods are lots of fun
Nice park and walking trails
Awesome park with so much free space for kids to run around. Also I love the playground! It’s like a workout station for kids. The trail is beautiful and makes you feel miles from town (if of course you can ignore the traffic noise!)
Very peaceful park.
Great place to take a walk as the pads are paved throughout most of the park also every Sunday at 1 p.m. theres a group who does LARPing and appear to have a great time
Lovely green space with trails and a couple nice playgrounds for children, one does well for younger children and one for kids over three. We visited on a sunny day yet with the great tree coverage Id expect it to be fine on a light rainy day as well.
Such great place, I recommend
Cute little spot with a huge field to have fun with the kids or just have a picnic! Plus the wildlife is just beautiful. Went there the other day with my kids and there was about 80 dragonflies gliding around the park! great experience!
Absolutely beautiful park! This is truly a little slice of nature right in your back yard. It feels like stepping onto a hiking trail in any of the beautiful Pacific northwest forests. Tons of local wild plants and cozy, damp feeling lend to helping us escape from the busy buzz of the city right outside the tree line.
Great family park. Plenty of space for everyone and I environment felt safer than most public parks. I highly recommend.
Peaceful and Beautiful
This is a good and opened place to be in.
Beautiful park occasionally homeless population makes it uncomfortable.
Big. Huge for a park. Lots of trails and paths to walk with lush foliage all around you. Great place to have a birthday party or any other family-style event with a large group.
Very nice park...excellent for family picnics ... Clean well kept
I love to take walks here. The down side is, theyve got a really strange playground for kids. Id probably call it, industrial? No slide, just a couple swings, some spinning seats, and a weird type climbing thing. The grounds are beautiful though. They also have a large covered area for parties or picnics with tables and benches. They also have some quick trails to walk through if you wanted. Lastly, many people that are involved with Vancouver Rocks use this park to hide/seek their painted rocks which always fun!
It local, good location
This is a beautiful place to walk.
Very spacious area with bathrooms. Nice picnic table in the shade, a pavillion, and some paved trails to walk. You can hear the freeway noise, but seems secluded amongst the trees.
Best place in town to play some volleyball, or just have a picnic with the family.
A place you can bring the family for fun
Love the hiking trails on the backside of the park. Lots of room and stuff to do. Playground and open space for everything you want.
Its a huge park. There are paths you can stroll on through the wooded area. Picnic tables. Play area. And even a covered area full of tables and a huge BBQ pit
Absolutely love this park! It reminds me of my childhood. A example of what I mean is, yesterday I saw a mixed group of people playing live action role-playing games. Several types of families having barbecues, groups of people playing sports. The bathrooms were open the water fountain work. The grass was cleanly cut. When I see Parks like this I dont really feel like the state of Washington is wasting my tax dollars.
Big open space for kids to run...also there are two separate playgrounds, one for small kids and the second for bigger ones
Alot of homeless activities go on in the park at all times. I have a large dog but I would never go in the park alone or at night. Im not a fan.
Gorgeous park. Lots to see and do.
Great park. Trails and paths for you to explore. Bathrooms there and great little play areas for the little ones.
Fun park. Great for kids. Im not sure what the slide thing is supposed to be. Its a little more artsy then practical. Everything else is fun in a beautiful wooded area. Its a perfect place on a sunny day.
Well I already rated this place so I dont think Googles keeping track but I want to get those points. Its a great park it has walking trails bathrooms drinking fountains BBQs covered picnic tables and uncovered picnic tables two really nice playgrounds kids of all ages can enjoy and Rose Garden lots and lots of grassy space for volleyball football or a little soccer. It was cool one day we had my sons 4th birthday there at Orchards and a group of young adults where play fighting with all kinds of armor costumes and padded swords with golden shields and interesting helmets with horns and different things embellish the make believe I guess. They talked to us Moms for a long time and told us where they join for all their different Play Dueling or sparring that was real cool memorable to say the least. My partner just clued me in LARP LIVE ACTION ROLE PLAYING
So much space, great play areas. Perfect for a quick stop during road trips.
Fun for everyone but lock your thinks up for your own safety..
