Visited this park Friday 10/16/20 Beautiful green space with numerous walking paths. No playgrounds here. 3 benches at this park as well as 3 entrances. There is construction going on at the adjacent lot so it isnt very quiet right now. Big beautiful trees here. No bathrooms, nor trash cans. Only street parking available. Saw no one else in the park when I was here at 9:30am.
Raymond E Shaffer was a nice guy. At least I assume Ray was the guy who donated this lot. And a lot is was, too. A lot of grass. And some over grown trees. Some nice person has mowed it (the city? Naw, unlikely) and added a barkdust loop of some indeterminate length inside it. So you can go on a walk. And think about Ray.
My great grandparents park
I grew up here it’s my Grandparents place. My Grandfather kept the entire 10 acres up like a park.Soo many good memories, I hope the city can make it a safe place for people to enjoy.
This is an overgrown field. No parking unless you want to park in front of peoples houses.
Small neighborhood park.
I grew up here and have always loved the area. The park designation still leaves this as a fairly undeveloped tract. With easy to explore areas. A bit of wild amidst all the development makes for a nice escape.
Good place
Nice tree cover from the rain. Good place to go when its raining, for your dog to stretch its legs.
Nice shady areas
Great park
Quick spot to run around
Amazing
Nothing here
