Beautiful park, paddleboat or row bow available for only $5! Short trails for walking and nice areas for picnics or even parties. The girl running the boats needs a raise! She was super sweet and did everything from payment, getting life jackets, helping people on and off boats.

This park is a true gem and one of my favorite places in Valpo. The lake is so pretty and filled with fish, turtles and birds of all kinds. I really enjoy going on the paddle boats with my son.

Nice park! Nice trails, lots of water to fish on. Well maintained boat ramp with lots of parking. Playground for the kids. Pavilion rental. Boat rental during the summer. We saw a ton of birds, all different species. A really nice park with a lot of land!

Brilliant course design. Excellent disc golf park. I do often describe Rogers as punishing. There is tons of poison ivy and you will deeply regret any and every mistake you make on the course. Its a great course but the potential to lose discs is very significant since the rough grows rampant.Still love this place though. Just wear pants and be perfect and youll have a great round.

So much fun. Great rentals like paddleboats, row boats, Frisbee golf course, badminton. Also adrop in for boats, lots of fishing, and hiking area.

Nice park, cheap entry. Lots of parking and trash cans, the area was obviously well cared for. They rent paddle boats but there are plenty of docks and shore spots for bank fishing. The water looked clean, we fished and caught a few smallmouth bass, nothing work keeping. Overall though, it was a good experience, Ill go back.

This is a great park with fishing, boating (none motorized), picnic areas, state board park, and disc golf well worth the 5.00 per car entrance fee.

I really enjoyed this place i have been enjoying this place since I was a kid and now I get to enjoy it with my kids and grandchildren and they are working very hard to keep everything clean and sanitize with this Covina gg to the workers

Great place for our family reunion. Our area was very clean! The trails were well kept. We had plenty of space to spread out, eat & play. Plenty of fishing sites were available for use. We had a shelter with men & women bathrooms which was great for our more elder members as well as all the children. There were overhead lights in the shelter which helped since it was overcast. There were between 65-70 people, & at one point we all fit under the shelter comfortably.

Great park, a lot of work has been done to keep it clean and clear of brush. Great disc golf course. You do have to pay to get in, and sometimes the bathrooms are not unlocked but overall a nice park.

Park was great could be more state support to treat water for oxygen stealing plants in water and moss but clean and light bulbs in shelter

Rogers Lakewood is a beautiful place! The disc golf corse is very nice and challenging! My husband and I take our kayaks out there on the lake and go fishing! Great place to go!

For a beautiful Saturday, it was not packed. We were able to enjoy the water, fish and have lunch at a pavillion. Really nice surroundings.

My favorite park in Valpo. You can find quiet corners even when the park is crowded with people. Watch variety of birds, small animals, and flowers. Find fun in boating, fishing, biking or walking. I spend a lot of time taking pictures.

If you dont have a boat you might as well not even fish my husband and I have been fishing quite a few times there and havent caught nothing going to try this coming spring hopefully well get lucky....

It is a very good disc golf course. All holes are par 3 but I think that definitely some holes should be par 4. Hole 10 and Hole 23 should be par 4.

Really nice place to picnic or go out on the lake :) you can rent paddle boats or raft boats for a really cheap price and go paddle away on the water.

Great place to take the kids fishing for bluegill and large and small mouth bass.

Large park around a lake, good space to keep your distance from other people. Lots of trees for shade all over the place.

Beautiful place. You can fish, hike, rent a paddle boat here, they have shelters for events and much more. Even in the winter they have a nice sledding hill.

Nice Park. Well keep park except boat ramp is horrible....like a swamp and cant launch a boat from trailer as launch is flat, no slope. One fishing pier is half in water. Otherwise, nice park.

Wasnt overly impressed. For how much it cost it get in the pond is not very well upkept in my opinion. Most of the docks are either unstable or have so much goose poop they are unusable. Probably will not return. Dont mind paying to get into places but I expect them to be pretty nice.

This place is awesome. If you want to fish, play frisbee golf, have a picnic, or just take a nature hike. This is the place for you. The natural scenes are beautiful. Birds, geese, butterflies, and even deers can be seen.They also have a playground and affordable row/paddle boat rentals.

This is a large Valparaiso City Park located on several lakes. Spectacle lakes and Loomis lake. Theres a beach at a concession stand public restrooms and many picnic areas. Harold Rogers Lakewood Park has been a mainstay in the Valparaiso community for at least 40 years. Nice place to enjoy.

A perfect place to get away from the crowds and enjoy nature without driving to far from town. You can kayak, fish, walk trails, take your dog, whatever you can think of.

One of the toughest disc golf courses in the country and I mean its tough. You better not bring your favorite disc out there because you might end up losing at least two or three. Great place for all kinds of stuff though

Miss the ol days when you could swim. Still a great place though.

My only gripe about this park (and its a small and slightly stupid one) is that there is no walking/biking/whatever path going around the whole park, just a line going through. The little lakes are beautiful and its a really nice place to take a nap, just saying.

I love this park!!!! Its free for now to get in. Memorial day through labor day they charge a few dollars to get in, to help maintain the park. They have a lot of fun activities that you can do there. Its a great place to go fishing, play frisbee golf, rent a boat, etc. Have fun and enjoy!!!

Its a beautiful park. My only complaint is that its crazy overrun with Canadian Geese and their feces. Its crazy cheap to rent a shelter, although all have to pay for all of your guests entrance fees. Even so, its still very cheap.The disc golf course is well kept but extremely difficult. The most difficult I have played on by far. Its heavily wooded and has very long holes. Expect to lose a disc.

The best

This is a large park with a beautiful lake. Only trolling motors are allowed on the boats. There are paddle boats and john boats available for rent. There is a nice jungle jim for the children and there are flush toilets and concessions.The large trees provide shade over the picnic tables. We saw a family of redheaded woodpeckers on our visit.

Terrible for fishing too many people with not enough docks to fish. Catch more weeds than fish
