We used to go there before Covid. Great playground for kids. A good variety of options for kids.
Although its in the city....its a good slight getaway into nature...makes for a great jog/walking stretch with its trails also...will definitely frequent this place
This park is wonderful me and my children love to go walk or skate the many trails they have to offer. This is a nice place where you can find a very scenic area right in the middle of town. Out of all of the trails that we have walked around the Tyler or smith county area these are the ones that always call us back. There are some off the beaten path trails that are pretty fun to check out as well. My kids always love to ring the bell and just check everything out you never know what you’re going to see as nature can always surprise you. If you haven’t been you definitely should these trails are great.
A good place to walk outside. A dog bowl is provided near the water fountain.
Didnt get assaulted by anyone. I was told by those who frequent the place that this is a peek. To not get assualted, I mean. If you were looking to get assaulted and didnt, you might want to consider it two stars.
Great place to go run or walk by your self or with family. Even if you don’t want to run or walk or if you want to take break they have a field you can play ball in, play catch or play fetch. There is a playground for kids as well so they can have plenty of fun too. They just recently renovated the playground equipment so it is fresh and new for anyone coming here. There is also a ice cream man that comes around occasionally. Great park
Love that place. My wife and I enjoy the trails and beauty of it.
Great place to take the family. Awesome updated playground. Excellent paved trails for running/walking/biking.
An absolutely beautiful park. Lots of trails. Well maintained. Childrens play areas. Highly recommend it. There are also lots of students, and retirement aged people there.
A beautiful nature park with paved trails.
Nice place for the whole family . Pretty scenery and also a place for hiking if the paved sidewalk isnt enough.
I love it here. Its so peaceful. The people walking around are really friendly
Nice place to run. Concrete walkways. Lots of trees for shade.
Its ok because they need to come and repair the tennis courts there
I run here a lot, it is great.
Nice spot of nature in the middle of Tyler. Awesome and safe place to walk or run with wide well maintained sidewalks. The park has a lot of trees for shade. Periodical benches for resting and enjoying the wildlife. It can be really dark at night though so bring light if its close to dusk.
Surprisingly pretty and quite in the middle of the city
Great paved trails good shaded and safe.
Nice clean park, not super crowded, and extremely quiet.
This is a very beautiful trail however I wish at night it was a little more illuminated, if I didnt have a running partner I wouldnt necessarily feel safe. Very nice people on this trail and although you should wear your bug spray the insects arent as bad as on other trails! I really like that they have metal bars everywhere set up for you to try new forms of workouts!
Peaceful, well maintained, and miles of trails
Very nice walking trails
We love this park
Really nice place to ride my OneWheel. Glad to see there are more people out now that they revitalized the playground. Could use more places like this.
Wonderful walking trail. Well maintained and heavily used asset.
Beautiful park for our family pictures. I was in town to celebrate my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. Joggers & other families in the park were very friendly.
Enjoyed my walk
Great place to jog or ride bikes. Humid area due to the climate of creek and heavy woods. Great for sweat workout. Plenty of land to cover when you follow concreted walkways.
Outdoor exercise equiptment, basketball court, big gorgeous playground, friendly neighborhood bike trail all around fun for kids and adults
Not a park as much as it is a concrete trail through trees with some areas of open grass. Great place for picnics and walks.
Nice trails for walking, jogging and bicycles. I appreciate free public use areas. We are fortunate to have. Dont litter!
Great trails that go for miles without traffic interference.
Loved running on the trail! Its beautiful and yet not too far from civilization. Very nice area.
Such a beautiful park with amazing trails for biking, running or walking your dog. It would be nice if there were a few more water fountains available.
Beautiful place and great trails. Great for bike riding or jogging
A wonderful place to walk and enjoy nature. Plus lots of dogs to pet
Love this park. I could walk and run all day.. Love the different themes and the ringing of the bell there. Pleasant atmosphere..
Great for taking a walk. Parts of the trails need to be lighted. Also there are areas that need more trees and vegetation planted
Great green belt park with walking and biking amenities along a scenic creek. safe and well patrolled
Great place to go walking, jogging, running or biking. If you play Pokemon Go, you are in luck. There are several Gyms, Pokestops and even multiple Nests here. The west side of the park is even a water biome, so you will always find many water types here. The only MAJOR issue with this location is the lack of parking. No parking on the far east side at all. Curb side parking for the main section in the middle, where the playground is. Only 6 or 7 spots on the west side and there is only 1 handicap accessible spot at all. People always park right behind all the spots, creating a hazard to those trying to back out or even pull into the micro parking lot. But to top it off, someone is always parked in the striped spot next to it, so people in vans have a hard time getting in and out. City planners need to do more planning to correct this, especially now that they moved the tennis courts right next to it.
Really nice
Great walking trail. Mostly shaded. Great trail for a nice relaxing walk.
Love this place for a walk through the woods. Good concrete paths to keep you out of the mud.
This park has swings! I know sometimes is hard to find a place with them. Our family goes here often to play on the playground, walk the trails, or kid around the soccer ball. Huge park with public restroom and lots of shade
Enjoy walking in the woods.
My husband and I are big walkers. This park is awesome for walking outdoors. The surface is flat concrete and you still get the outdoor country feel while walking.
Great place to bike with kids
Beautiful park with mostly shady trails. It does lack parking, but overall its a beautiful place to walk, run, or bicycle. Folks seem to share the trails very well.
Best part in town
It had nice off road trails, it felt natural.
Nice walking trails, shaded and good visibility.
Great for exercise trails or to bring the kids to play
A peaceful trail and a brand new playground for the kids
Beautiful place. Found my first Geo there
A lengthily-paved scenic trail. Well maintained. Sturdy bridges. Convenient underpasses. Intermittent lighting. Approx 5 ft wide concrete at nearly 2 miles in length stretching from Loop 323 to Grande. Connects to sidewalk that parallels Grande adding several more miles. Cycling allowed.
This park is a great place to go jogging or go for a walk. It has a well maintained and paved trail so is handicap accessible and appears to be safe. It was very clean and peaceful when I was there. I began taking a walk during my lunch break while working in the area.
Quiet, pleasant trail; bit short on parking
Great for kids. My son absolutely loves it
Great place to get your jog/run on.
Great place to get some fresh air, walk the dogs
Gr8 Park!
A great park with a great path that has plenty of space to ride a bike or run and not have to worry about running into people. It is usually well maintained and always people there. I have always felt safe walking, running, or biking at different times of the day. Also a great place to go with your pet as well!
Beautiful..so natural..so to see plasric shopping bags in creek..I fish them out when I can
My dog loves long walks there ..be careful snakes are out..I killed one there around early dusk.
Beautiful
I Went on Walk with a Doc. The talk was very informative. This is a very nice walking park. Some jog, run, skate or ride bikes. Many walk with tots in strollees and many walk their dogs. I found most are polite and courteously warn walkers when passing from behind. It is a beautiful place to walk.
Great place to exercise with the family or alone. Love going here for anything just relaxing in nature or exercising.
The paved trail can be narrow when passing others on the thoroughfare who are walking, pushing a stroller, walking the dog, or biking. However, the paved trail splits into different directions so there is plenty of room to spread out. Most water fountains have dog bowls for your canine to get a drink. There is exercise equipment along the right for pull-ups and the like if you want to cross train. Benches allow people to rest and enjoy the natural beauty.
Greate park wonderfull trails ... pokestops and gyms
Great park with nice shade and concrete walking/riding paths. Very aggressive rude bike rider that has been in conflict with walkers through the day. We tried to avoid him. Normally most are curteous walkers/riders and share the road. Hope he doesnt become a regular to the park or maybe he will learn some manners.
I enjoy the vibration it put,s out
Love the view
I love the trails! Its amazing to me there is a wonderful oasis amongst the hustle and bustle.Great trails for riding your bike, walking your dog, or just getting a little taste of nature.
Great park for a mid-city creek trail. Do wish we could clean, and keep clean, the trash in the creek.
Local. Biking. Walking. Its a nice place that takes you further than most people imagine...
Always love my walks there
I was hoping for more. Its a nicely landscaped + neatly maintained park. But its too congested given bikers, joggers, dogwalkers and mom with strollers are all sharing the same space. Parking can fill up quickly too. Had a lovely walk + got some cute pics with the pups but dont think well be back.
Clean. Smooth footpath. A green lung. Cyclists in general bolshy to walkers.
Beautiful walking trail, playground, restrooms, spacious with lots of trees and grass.
Pretty place yet 2nd time trouble with someone who cannot control their dog. Today, dog on leash got away from owner & knocked me down as it went between my legs to get to my small service dog. Owners with dog fled from scene as I was helped to the bench.
It was pretty beautiful and peaceful to walk.
Great place for some fun in the sun. And very beautiful. Over four miles of walking, running, or biking! Awesome
Its nature at its best in the middle of town. I love it! Mildly kept some areas need work but other then that its one of my favorite parks to walk or bike.
5 stars because its a great place to walk or jog and there are parks along the way. May not be the best manicured or most beautiful trail, but its a fun and scenic place for the family or just to get some exercise. One of the great things about Tyler.
Believe it or not the trail was very reminiscent of the Grand Canyon south outer ridge trail. Water stations and dog bowls for water. Quiet times and very relaxing. I went at noon on a Monday and passed a handful of people, some with dogs, throughout the 1 1/2 hour walk. I stayed away from where the trail paralleled the roads for a more somber experience. I absolutely loved the squirrels and their relaxed disposition.**But dont feed them so theyll stay safe from human interaction. Thank you.
Great place for walking or jogging. Always lots of people. They even have a dog bowl attached to one of the water fountains. Great park. We need more of them in Tyler!
First time walking the trails and really enjoyed my time.
Very beautiful park! Unfortunately, we couldnt find the playground that was mentioned on its description.
Great place to walk and jog. Almost all wooded so shade a plenty. Also plenty of mosquitos be prepared.
They need to make it nicer.
Well-maintained trail with appealing scenery.
Good for running and exercising at the same time.. Dog friendly..
Nooooo. Do not go to this park!! Not safe.
It a good place to take a jog or bike ride but not much else you can do.
Great park for the kids, dog, or YOU! Plenty of paved trails for allying, running, skating, or biking. Water doubting and even metal bowls set up for the dogs. And the trail runs behind or close to great food joints.
