I went here to the center hall for the B2B Luncheon-- and the facilities, catering staff, and Audio/visual crews were all excellent! We got to hear a Dallas Cowboy player give us a little of his testimony. Richard Hall with East Texas Productions was great at keeping the audio clean and audible without feedback, and the caterers were very friendly and accommodating complete with high quality table settings.Id definitely recommend this location for large hall events and the staff I saw today for any further A/V or catering needs!
Nice place, and a beautiful relaxed ambience.
We drove 3 hours to see the Rose Garden and the Rose Museum. The Rose Garden was pretty but we couldnt get into the Museum. The website said they opened at 10:00 and the door said 9:00. We waited for awhile and they never opened. There were more people waiting as well. Was disappointed.
Awesome location for special events. 4th weekend of January is always the East Texas Gem and Mineral Society Show. My husband and I were also married here 17 years ago. Gardens are great to walk through, sun and shade. Gift shop has gift items, and the Rose Queen museum is a great tribute and way too see the beautiful dresses from past years of the Tyler Rose Festival.
Visiting the Tyler Rose Garden is a much more complete experience if you start in the Tyler Rose Garden Museum -- it explains the history, pageantry, economy and technology of the the rose trade in Tyler. The splendor of the gowns, the first hand accounts of earlier promoters, the economy and community efforts at building up the rose business, all give you a sense how a community can pull together to do great things. There is a small fee for the museum (but none for the Rose Garden) -- I think it was less than $5.
The roses smell very nice, but the potpourri was a bit overpowering to my wife and myself. The only reason for the 4 star rating.I love to walk the Gardena and take pictures, or just walk and sit on the benches with my partner of over 40 yrs. And sometimes there are totally unrelated, but pleasant surprises.
I had no idea that Tyler was the Rose Capital. It was so informative and interesting. Cant wait to go back and learn more.
Took my daughter here for a job fair and walked around while she was meeting prospective employers. Gift shop has some very cute items and prices are not bad. The attendant in the shop was very sweet and helpful. Ready to go back when the roses are in bloom and get some pictures of my favorites!
This is a beautiful garden that you are not going to want to pass up. When the roses are in bloom it is just gorgeous and a great place to take pictures. It is a peaceful garden if you are looking for a quiet place to get away and read or just think. The garden is free, but you do have to pay for the museum. It is a very small museum and not really one for small kids as there isnt much to do, but a lot to see. The dress on display are so elegant and beautiful. There are little videos and displays everywhere and lots of pictures.
Roses are a favorite in my family. We visted here when in Texas visiting grandparents. It was a joy in a hard time. I havent been back to Texas since they passed. I still have rose sented bath bombs from here.
So thankful the city of Tyler & rose garden allow MADD to set up the Tree of Angels & candlelight table during the holiday to allow victims an opportunity to honor their loved one injured or killed in an impaired driving crash.
Simple. Beautiful... A must visit particularly when roses are in full bloom.Great place for a little hide-n-seek too.
Free admission and full of rose In the garden. Tyler is a good city for visiting
If you love roses, you have to make time to stop by the Tyler Rose Garden and Museum. The 16 acre rose garden is absolutely gorgeous, and it is wonderful simply to take a quiet stroll around and through the rows and rows of blooming bushes.Check with their website for dates of the big rose festival in the fall.My trip was made in April when the weather was just beginning to warm, and the blooms were unbelievable. The gift shop is quaint, with an unbelievable array of rose items, from mugs and towels, to aprons, soaps and bath items all with rose themes.Whether you just find yourself in the Tyler area with an hour or so of free time, or you plan a specific trip to Tyler to see the garden, museum and gift shop, you wont be disappointed.
If your in the Tyler area the this is a good place to Stop and Smell the Roses. Tyler is the self proclaimed Rose Capital of the World. The sandy loam in the area seems to bring out the colors and fragrance. The Tyler area has quite the history of Roses and Southern Hospitality and Culture. The history of the Rose Parade, Queen and Festival is an interesting way to see some of this culture. If your in town and have time to visit this is a good stop.
Great setting for Senior Pictures!!
Wheel chair accessible. .nice pretty place.
Went to the Tyler Gem and jewelry show and it was awesome!
Nice scenery the roses are breath taking
Gift shop, museum, & rose garden are uplifting places to visit. Staff was very helpful & friendly.
Love me some roses. Going right back.
Beautiful they had small wedding there at time we was there
Went to the rock show and it was really fun! Love going every year! There is so many beautiful things to see and purchase! Looking forward to next year!
First of all its free. I did have to take their little elevator with my stroller, but at least they had an elevator. The garden is beautiful even if everything is not in bloom. It had some fountains and a pond and more than just roses. It was a nice little stroll and great for pictures. I enjoyed it and found it refreshing.
A real jewel of Texas gardens and worth the visit at any time of the year
Was there for the train show and it was great ! Super friendly people . lots of trains . you sould go next time . very family friendly .
Rose garden was beautiful!! I remember going with Mama on one of our trips to/from Central Texas. She loved roses so much. I remember her growing them lovingly when I was a child.
Lots of friendly faces. I came when they were doing the contest of flowers which were very beautiful. I loved the interactive rooms throughout the museum. Pretty cool.
So beautiful there. All the rose Queens dresses. Cute gift shop. Wish I would of gone there sooner.
What a neat venue. The whole building smells like Roses. It was neat.
So much fun looking at the beautiful gowns
Everyone is nice and the museum has lots of interesting things. Unfortunately we came after it rained for a few weeks and the roses had taken a beating. But they were still beautiful.
Some people will find it boring, I on the other hand loved it. Shows a history of roses and the area, has a ton of vintage outfits, tiaras, you can go look at the rose garden, and the gift shop has some awesome unique rose items. I go back every year to get gifts for family.
Beautiful relaxing gorgeous rose gardens. The museum is stunning!
I only ever come for the Rose Festival in October. The rose gardens are beautiful for the Roses but not very interesting as far as the layout of flower beds and paths so walking around is not really particularly interesting. I paid to go in the museum at my first visit but I didnt think it was worth going in there again. I have never gone in the gift shop.
Even though the roses werent blooming the garden was still beautiful. The museum was great, loved all the dresses and literature. Gift shop was very affordable and staff was friendly and helpful.
What a beautiful place! We walked around the grounds and enjoyed the different kinds of plants and flowers on the grounds. In the Butterfly Garden we saw several monarch butterflies and lots of little critters all around. It was a warm day and we were the only ones out there aside from the grounds keepers mowing and the friendly staff in the office. There were several large rooms that would be great for events, and a museum that included pictures of each queen from the Festival of Roses. Its a nice place to visit and spend time and I look forward to visiting when the roses are in full bloom!
Beautiful rose gardens. Just a great place to visit and hang out.
Fun place, nice art work to look at, some interesting pieces to look at also, a fun tour nontheless
The rose garden is beautiful. I enjoyed they had the names of all the roses so you could identify them.
Took a tour today as part of the Rose Festival. The gardens were beautiful with plenty of blooms. Always a good place for a quick stop or a liesurely walk through the gardens.
Tyler Rose Garden and Museum is great place to visit. Inexpensive family fun. Its actually free to go to the rose garden. A wonderful place the community should be proud and home to the Tyler Rose himself Earl Campbell.
I went to a model train show in one of the buildings here. Never saw the museum. Lots of roses can be seen from the parking lot and driving by.
Nice Roses were not in bloom. Needs to cut off dead roses.
Always so nice there.
If you are visiting Tyler or if you live in the area and have never been this is must visit. The gardens are very beautiful and the museum is informative and fun.
Interesting museum. The garden was a little bare because of being summer. Neat landscaping.
If you love history and flowers awesome place
Very beautiful, alot of space, and great security
Annual farm bureau meeting and supper great time.
We visited the rose garden this week. I was amazed how poorly it wasmaintained there were now blooms and they badly needed trimming offold growth. Not at all worth the trip.
Adorable. The museum was neat and the rose garden was beautiful and well kept. I advise picknicking here. Or coming here to walk, like for exersice. Its great
Nice clean facility always a fresh smell of roses as you walk through hallways.

It would be better when everything was blooming
Funlovers dance every 2 months!
Wonderful place for a walk in the springtime. No admission to get in and there is normally plenty of parking. One of the most beautiful places in Tyler.
Its OK. Dont really get the rose festival unless your from Tyler. Arts and crafts was way small, thought it would have been bigger.
What is nostalgic visit to learn the history of the Rose Garden in our Queens what Acuras possession Tyler has in its Rose Garden Center
This place is amazing especially in the spring, summer, and Fall! Also a great place to take sweet fifteen and wedding photos.
