It was great to see a movie again. The theater was very clean and they separate groups for social distancing. The food was very good and they were careful not to prepare my food near any shellfish because I am severely allergic.

Second time I have been here and both times my experience has been good.The only thing I have had is the popcorn and bottle water. Have not had the food.Here is an picture of the large popcorn.Will be back the nect time I on Tyler

We went here a while back and we didnt get here early so we missed ordering food. Even though the trailers hadnt started. The waiter said they would be right back to take our order...a full movie later, NOTHING. We were never asked if we wanted anything; not if we wanted drink, or food, NOTHING. SO Instead, we went to FDs Grillhouse for dinner, and it was GREAT!!!

This theater has relatively comfortable seating and inexpensive movie tickets. They make most of their money off of their food. Their menu prices are about what you would pay going to Olive Garden for a sit down meal. Portions are large and most of their food is just okay. The chicken and fries are nothing special. The best thing on the menu is the mac and cheese with chicken added! I do not like mac and cheese, so I was skeptical about trying it-trust me, its fantastic.

I like this place. Every time Ive been there the waitstaff were really friendly and hard working. The food is decent and doesnt seem quite as exorbitantly expensive as most theater food. And the seats are very comfortable, which is a big plus.

My family loves studio movie grill. nice place to relax, watch a movie, eat dinner and have a little drink. or you can go totally old school and get popcorn, cokes and candy!!! such a fun night out with or without children.

So I come here and my son does also. We have excellent times here but the food to me is even better. The food and service is always great also.

Ive been losing my taste for this place and today was the last straw. Not once did our waiter come check on us after taking our order. Never asked my husband if he wanted another beer or anything else or checked to make sure our order was right when it was delivered by someone else. The chicken on the nachos was dry and still in big chunks. My classic burger was not good and they literally gave me a quarter size dollop of mayo to go on it along with the same amount of ketchup. Then, when I got the check, they charged us for the extra condiments such as ranch and bbq sauce. I left no tip since the waiter bailed at the beginning of the show .

We love SMG! We bought food during the pandemic because part of the proceeds go to help pay their employees. We were surprised by 2 free bags of popcorn put in our to-go bag! Way cool! We also had 2 free movie passes, unfortunately they expire end of April 2020. We won’t be able to enjoy a free movie afterall due to social distancing, etc...so we were bummed about that. But we loved the food & the wonderful free popcorn was great too!

Ordered simple appetizer and drink. Forgot to bring me my order. After over 20 min, I called attendant. Shortly after that they brought cold food and my drink was warm by then. No napkins! No excuse!

The movie theater has very comfortable seats, tickets are reasonably priced, BUT the food there is way too expensive ! A glass of tea: $ 4.25, lemonade:$ 5, foods $10 to $15.Not an inexpensive place for a date night. If you can afford to eat there, the food is really good.Make sure you eat before going to the movies or have plenty of $$$ if you do chose to eat there.

The amount of food you get for the price is terrible! My food was ‘Luke warm’ and I was fairly disappointed. Good Movie!

I have frequently watched movies here, but I tell you most times I end up being next to someone who obviously did not come to watch the movie because they wont shut up. I experienced this while watching Rambo on yesterday and got up and moved to an empty seat. There should be a way to let staff know that someone is disrupting your movie experience without it being obvious that you were the one who said something. People are crazy and you never know how they will retaliate. Overall its a good place to watch movies.

First time at Studio Movie Grill and hopefully my last time. We arrived 1/2 hour before the movie started only to find the first two rows available. We decided to buy two tickets for the second row from the front, went in and sat down to order our food when we were told that we could only have a well done burger due to health reasons. Not only were they making me buy a burnt burger at $14 but my neck was already starting to hurt from being so close to the movie screen. We decided not to stay for the movie and asked for our money back. They refused to give us a refund even though the movie hadn’t started, not even the previews had begun to play and still we were told it was too late for a refund. We said fine, just give us a credit. We were told that we needed to give them a time and date as to when we would be back and they would have the tickets waiting for us. Well, we didn’t know when we would be back, yet they still refused to give us our money back. That was when I asked for a manager. The manager said about the same thing that the cashier said but was able to give us 2 movie passes. The movie passes had restrictions on them, an expiration date, and were not the same value that we paid for our tickets. It’s ridiculous that we couldn’t have our money back, ridiculous that we couldn’t have our choice on how we order our burger, and ridiculous on how outrageous the food prices were. What ever happened to great customer service or the customer is always right mentality? Are they that desperate to keep my $20 that they would risk losing me me as a future customer? I will never ever go back there again!

Studio use to be one of the best places. But now they’ve gotten to comfortable and they’re food is not good like it was at the beginning. It’s was one of the hottest places but now their staff are so lazy. There manager loves to dehydrate customers as well. They don’t care about customer service and they also share there tips. The tip of the of the night is get better at customer service. Well places are closing down and places are going out of business. So I can’t see this movie grill getting better because they don’t want to. I love Times Square way better. No alcohol there but that’s what Applebee’s are for!

I. WAS. ABSOLUTELY. FREEZING. AND. MISERABLE. THE. ENTIRE. MOVIE! There was NO reason to have it that cold. Then they brought out the wrong meal for my daughter and the correct order didnt arrive until after we were all finished with our meals. I feel they should have comped her meal, but whatever. Wear pants, long sleeves and a jacket if you go!!! Everyone with me agreed it was freezing!

Saw “Richard Jewell” Christmas Day movie was very good.....except the screen was shaking the rumble was awful. At first I thought it was sound effects. It was but not from the movie we paid for was from “Star Wars”. Won’t be going back to this theater.

Absolutely love this theater ! Comfortable seating and order from a menu by pushing button and get food delivered to you while you watch the movie on a small tray in front of your seat! You can even order alcoholic drinks if you are of age ! Awesome and so much fun ! Food is good but a couple times I had a lot of trouble with my order ... but that can happen anywhere

We have so much fun when we go here for dinner and a movie! Love the bar when you first come in, so go early to enjoy! Love we can go into the theater and press our button and order anything anytime! LOVE the mediterranean bowl, the hummus and warm flatbread with veggies is to die for and they serve RED CONUNDRUM! my fav wine! Thanks for making this a really great dining experience!

Its just great a dinner and a movie at the same time

Always enjoy this place. The only issue is that there needs to be a counter/station for customers who have already purchased their tickets online. I had to wait behind 2 ladies who couldnt decide on what movie time they wanted and all I had to do was just show my phone for my tickets.

Of everything I could complain about within this location the one thing that absolutely disgusts me is letting the employees be treated like trash by the customers. Not one single person on this earth deserves that and I am revolted that it was allowed to happen here. If a place doesnt take care of their employees and make them feel safe and valued, then the entire company doesnt deserve the people working for them or the customers coming in the door. Verbal abuse should NEVER be tolerated under ANY circumstances.

Excellent service and food. Please fix those office chairs where the arm rests are all peeled and just... nasty. Buy a better and more sturdy chair system and replace them ASAP. Good movie experience but could be better.

Been several times. The Walmart of dinner theaters. Food is terrible, overpriced. Popcorn comes cold. Beer skunked. Service is so so even after the guy brought the wrong drinks to our seats three times. Milkshake tasted like the motor in the blender started to melt(plastic). I feel defeated. It just gives me a headache thinking about it

I love this theater so much. Why would anyone go to any other theater? They have a really attractive facility, clean restrooms, clean seating without broken cupholders, and friendly employees. Not to mention the food is actually very good, if not a hair pricey. Favorite date night destination!

The place was not clean and the seats were particularly comfortable. My husband enjoyed the burger he had, but my brisket mac and cheese was Terrible. Maybe two tiny pieces of brisket and an obnoxious amount of onion straws that made the whole thing way too salty. The sound and video quality was what you would expect of a movie theatre.

Very comfortable movie viewing food is usually good service sometimes is less than desirable lost drink orders and the like wish the had a larger screen for some movies but all in all its a good value for your money I like picking my seat and paying for tickets in advance online

Great for movies, but awful for food. I have tried a variety of food options here with absolutely no luck. I once ordered the brownie sundae, because how hard could it be to screw that up. Well they found a way.

Servers have a penchant for picking up dishes and payment in the middle of the most important scenes. If you don’t mind having your view obstructed or lots of talking audience members and screaming kids, this is the perfect place for you.

The movie was fantastic... But food... Not at all worth getting... Ordered the 28 dollar combo, burger was hard, pizza was a frozen cheese that they charged 4 extra dollars to put 3 Pepperonis and about 10 hamburger pellets on. Will go back to AMC and get popcorn and pop...

The night time manager was very rude and disrespectful towards my family and I! Ruined our whole night. Have been going here since it opened but know I will not be going back.. do not recommend this place to anyone until there is new management!!

This is my favorite place in East Texas to go and watch a movie. The staff is usually competent and friendly, the seating is usually pretty great, and the food is always really good. Great place to go go catch a flick!

We love watching movies here, but don’t always order food anymore. The prices have gone up and the food quality has gone down. For instance: I ordered the chocolate chip cookies today. I received 4 small cookies for $7 and they weren’t even warm. They were undercooked and not very appetizing. I used to love getting the cookies when they were $5 and much larger and always warm! Lesson learned.

Me and my husband we enjoy this theater alot we always spend alot of money there because we like to drink and eat. This is the second time that the food has been bad I had the south of the border chicken salad why mess up a salad??? The greens were so sour and 4 slices of avacado come on now for the money we are paying a salad should be perfect! When they just pour the greens out of a bag and do not wash it? Its going to taste sour. Does this place make their employees wash all the vegetables?? Or their hands ?? I didnt complain last time because all restaurants make mistakes but if they are not caring about peoples health and keep making unacceptable food its time that the owner goes and checks on how our food is being prepared. Sorry I had to complain but Im very disappointed.

The food is never up to par. Never prepared as per the menu. They are stingy with or leave off altogether, ingredients in the Mac and cheese and the quesadilla. Don’t ask for anything extra (like ketchup) because you’ll be charged for it.Update: I met and spoke to Chad today, one of the food managers. He spent 15-20 minutes politely listening and then talking with me. He apologized for the quality of the food and said they are working on improving. He genuinely cares about his customers and his workers and making improvements. I revise my rating to 3 stars and let’s give them another chance!

The movie experience is great. The problem I have is with the food and the over all demeanor of the staff. The burger was hard with zero seasoning no ketchup, mustard, or Mayo (wasnt even offered) and for the price it should have at least been better than McDonalds. The entire staff seemed like they were in a baf mood. No one was smiling, or friendly everyone seemed as if they were annoyed.

Reasonably priced tickets, food was ok but has gone down hill, got over charged. Kitchen closed at 11, movie didnt start till 11:15, asked for a refill on a soda but they told me they had already cleaned the soda machine so $5 for a soda and then water after that.

There are some negative reviews posted about SMG, so we went in without very high expectations. Our experience was a pleasant surprise: friendly, helpful staff, good food, and prompt service. Seating was very comfortable, and the facility was clean (including restrooms). Food and drinks were a little pricey in my opinion (I mean, $4.25 for a Pepsi!) but service was good and quantity of the servings was excellent...in fact, the next time we go, we will share a meal instead of leaving food behind!

Officially done with this theatre, theres 4 movie theaters in this town one of which I love but for some reason I still keep going here to give it a chance just to be let down again.

Very disappointed in the customer service from the manager. I paid for tickets and wasnt able to use them at the time I selected and Brian (or Bryan)s answer was simply he couldnt do anything since they were purchased on the website. Such a horrible excuse coming from a manager. I was polite and matter of fact about it, didnt feel like arguing, so I left.

Ill start with piss poor. The food is not worth the money. Asked for extra ranch and was charged for it but never got it. My 9 year old asked for refills twice and never got them. My 5 year old needed to use the restroom and while in there there was piss all over the floor and got on his shorts NASTY. Its pretty bad when you are walking out of the theater by the mens room and can smell it in the theater. That is how disgusting the restrooms are. My wife had the same problem in the womens restroom. The management does not care about their customers if the are going to let this kind of quantity of service to continue. Looks like Time Square is going to put a hurting on SMG. So sad they had something going and Tyler ruined another good place. RIP SMG

Ive been to this location dozens of times over the years. The seats are comfortable and the tickets for the movie are generally inexpensive. The cheese fries (with or without the brisket) is the best item in the menu. Make sure to get extra ranch. That said, the food is expensive and I probably wouldnt seek it out from a dedicated restaurant.

Drove for 2 hrs to visit my sister. We went to watch -little- and the service at the theatre was very convenient and friendly; did not have to get up to get a food or drink because a service button was attached to my seat to use.

Loved it my first time to go.I took 11 year old granddaughter to see Ralph breaks the internet and it was so funny..we are there too and the food was good and wait staff very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be going back..I highly recommend it it and very clean facility

Quite miffed. Sitting at a table in the bar / lounge area for 15 minutes, menu & silverware on the table, no one comes by to take my order. No where is there a table sign or menu notation that says lounge area must order at the bar. Guess its an unspoken rule everyone needs to know. Guest approaches bar & the mgr & staff finish their conversation before asking what I need. Ive always been happy with this place but Ive always ordered & eaten in the theater. Wanted to enjoy my meal at a table before the show this time but alas time wasted & now ticked off. The ticket girl, Autumn, bumped this back up to 4 stars because she went out of her way to come tell me my theater was ready.

Awesome! We love the counter seats. They are great to spread out and eat dinner during most movies. You cant beat being able to reserve your seats. The food is decent and the prices are reasonable for a movie theater. Its the only place we go for movies anymore.
