Fun place for an adult night out, arcade games were on point. Rather your local to Tucson or visiting the area this is a must stop place!video game themed drink names and great music
Good vibes, affordable cocktails, games/pinball not overly expensive. Def worth a visit.
Old school games the games are about .50 to a $100 dollar nice area of town it is by the U of A the limit seating they also have food from next door that you can order. Check it out it is 21 and up
Great drinks, service, and times even through Covid. I recommend the punch out drink!
I took my friend here and watched the stars appear in her eyes as she took in the flashing lights of the classic style arcade. Their selection of beer is good, and there are tables by every machine so that nothing spills. 25 cents per player for most games means you could easily spend an hour with two people playing for only $10.
The selection of arcade games here is incredible. Pinball, Dance Dance Revolution, NBA Jam, Star Wars Trilogy, Sunset Riders, and many many more. Games use tokens and are very reasonably priced. This location is two story, large bar area with indoor and outdoor patio seating. Full bar and a fun selection of specialty cocktails worth trying. Great atmosphere.
This has got to be the coolest, freshest new bar in downtown! Never have I seen such an incredible concept and combination executed so beautifully in complete harmony! All the retro arcade games you could imagine, and played at the best possible price! Every game costs only a quarter, and the music played by the DJ is all retro hip hop, R&B, and the dance floor is danced all night! Looking for a fun place to hang out, look no further than the Cobra Bar, sick a great and fun bar idea, and there is a game for everyone! All the classics;
As a fan of the Phoenix Cobra, I was shocked to find one in Tucson! I had no idea it was here! If youve been to the one to Phoenix, you know what to expect. If you havent, youre in for a good time. They have a plethora of arcade cabinets, from old classics to some new standouts (They have a Cuphead cabinet!?). Check their specials in advance, as some nights are free to play, or offer tokens with drinks. Very cool.
Old school fun! Came here with some coworkers in town for the week, we had an entertaining time. Lots of old school games to keep you going for a while. Many are single player but also saw some two-player and maybe six that accommodate up to four players, so bring a small group and some cash. The ATM was broken and the machine to dispense tokens only takes $1, $5, $10, and $20. I put in a $5 and we (three of us split) had enough tokens to goof off for maybe 60-90 minutes? Be sure to end your night with multi-player pacman for a great battle against your friends. I played Tetris, Qbert, Donkey Kong, a fighting game (cant remember name), and pac-man. We didnt even have any drinks for various reasons, but would love to come back for drinks and games next time were in town.
Fun place to go for a first date! Or second or thousandth. Fair warning it does get a little crowded on Friday and Saturday night so gaming opportunities might be slim. But if you head out there on a weekday you can get some great specials and play some cool arcade games.
Had a great time here with friends of all ages. The crowd was friendly and all shared a sense of fun that made it easy to chat and laugh with strangers. I would definitely return on my next visit to town.
Really fun place, if youre into nostalgic arcade games and pinball machines. They also frequently have Prescott Brewing Companys Achocolypse on tap. If you havent had it yet, I highly recommend it!
Awesome arcade bar. This is part club, part bar, and part arcade. The music is pretty loud, so if your expecting an arcade experience, modify it with a college town in mind. Sure I would love it if the music was quiet and it was more arcade than club, but its pretty much as good as it gets otherwise. Probably couldnt keep a place like that open and busy. The games are a mix of my early 90s, and some later ones I dont remember. They have some earlier classics too, and even some custom variants. They do a decent job of upkeep, especially for a bar arcade. Definitely give this place a try. Go earlier if your like me and not into the club scene.
This is me and my best friend there we have a lighter and other things we got from there its an amazing place to have fun with your friends drink and play games
Blast from the past!!!! Truly enjoyable. If you grew up in the 70s thru the 90s in the arcade youll enjoy this place.
I absolutely love this place, love hanging out and connecting with 80s & 90s babies. Old school arcade, full bar, outdoor patio very reasonable drink prices and you dont get price gouged on the games.
Not bad. $20 for 2 drinks and about an hour of fun on the machines. Need more pinball tables. Wednesday night is ladies night. Ladies get some free coins to play.
My wife and I came here for our first time this past Tuesday. They had a special that night, so we got free tokens with every drink purchase. They have some fun drink selections. Almost all the games we played required only one token per player. We got there at about 8 pm and left around midnight. It was much busier when we left than when we first got there. Love the decor and style of this bar. Good vibes all around. This is our new favorite hangout.
Cool spot.. Lots to do wish there were a few more games though
Lotta hype around this place. Its all true. Awesome fusion of an old school arcade and bar.
Good atmosphere and great music. Always a good place to start your night off or even end it here
How can an arcade that serves drinks get better? Maybe they include pinball? Or dance dance revolution? Check in bother cases! (Play Deadpool pinball! Or do The Specials song on ddr!)But the hidden gem is the game you never knew you missed. Fix it Felix jr. An obvious plant from outside of time. Its even free! Did you watch the Disney/Pixar movie that they made this cabinet to advertise? Then play the original!
We only stayed for a quick drink, dj was playing, everyone was dancing and seemed to be having fun. The games looked super cool also. The floor was super sticky to the point where I legit couldnt lift my feet off the ground so that was kind of nasty. I had one drink that was delicious, it tasted exactly like Hawaiian Punch. Id consider going back on a night when it wasnt so packed or dirty to check out the arcade games.
Best new bar spot in town. Deft get here early if you want to be let in. They limit how many people can be inside at a time and for good reason, place gets super packed and not a lot of room by the arcade. Keep in mind the games are cheap to play so there is always a wait for a game especially the popular ones. The games take tokens so bring them dollars to feed into the machine. The themed drinks are a good choice to go with if you want to experience it all. Love the covered patio if you need some fresh air and take a break from your playing. Not much seating besideds outside due to the games and such keep that in mind. Deft will be back.
This place is so fun, different vibe and a wide variety of people, it was latin night so the music was fun to dance to.
Some of the most fun Ive had since I was a kid! My husbands employer held the company Christmas party at Cobra. It was an incredible experience. Cobra allowed us to order in from Empire Pizza. The bar prices were reasonable and the arcade game selections are fantastic.
Great place. Tuscon got it going on. Bar is the bomb. Hella fun for adults
Very packed the night i went but the wait to play some of the arcade games they have was a good throwback. Some games were from before i was born and some are from my childhood. But most of them are fun to just kick back and play or bring friends and challenge. Id recommend this place.
Fun place! Perfect for dates with great music and atmosphere.
Went for the first time last night and had an amazing experience! Didn’t wait more than 2-3 minutes for my drinks (which I was surprised since it was New Years Eve), the drinks were made perfectly! There was a great selection of games, and every game I played worked! Super cheap games, I was there with several other people, bought $20 in tokens and still have some left. Good music mix! Had an amazing night!!!
Great selection of games and the location appears to be working to ensure the best foot traffic is possible. Wonderful addition to downtown. Might want to consider moving some things so people arent tempted to stand right at the top of the stairs, although Im not sure why you would want to do that anyways.
Meh. Very loud. The games are cool. Very loud. Odd crowd. Nothing special.
Very cool . Retro video games from childhood excursions to the arcade all set in an adult atmosphere. From pinball to 4 player pac man. Interesting drinks . If your still into the college bar scene its great fun.
This place is awesome! Nicely made drinks and arcade games. Its a young adults dream. Friendly staff and such a chill setting.
THIS PLACE IS SO FUN!!!i get hammered and play old/new games. it gets crowded but from a kid from the 90s i feel at home.
Awesome staff!!! great drinks!!! new games all the time... most definitely a downtown Tucson treasure.
This place is super cool. Each game is only a token (25 cents) and they are old school games. They have a full bar, which is nice but their drinks arent cheap
Fun bar with arcade games. Prices on beer are decent and on Tuesdays you get $2 dollars in coins with every purchase of a drink
Excellent nostalgic vibe. Still have tokens to use.
Very nice selection of games, and you get a lot of tokens for your money. My problems with the place are that even a beer was outrageously priced... it cost easily 2 dollars more than most other bars on 4th Ave. Also, while I had no problem with the music selection, it was WAY too loud. I suppose the people who run Cobra are going for a barcade AND club atmosphere, but honestly, that doesnt work. A lot of the people who go to barcades want to relax, play games, and hang and talk with their friends. They dont want to scream at each other over loud club music. The people who run the Cobra seem to be trying to appeal to two different types of people, and it doesnt work.
Great for a date or with friends. Cheap arcade games good drinks. A great time overall.
Fun atmosphere, drinks are hit or miss, better off ordering a beer
This a fun spot to come hang for a bit and play some old-school arcade games. The crowd wasnt too bad early on a Saturday evening, and the vibe was super chill. Good drinks, fun games.
Really enjoyed this place. Definitely took my husband and I back to being kids
Nice aesthetic but its hard to enjoy the retro games or talk to the person next to you when they blast the music in the bar as loud as they do. Plz turn it down a tad.Weve straight up left in the middle of a conversation because we cant hear each other.
The place in general is pretty good, the art and vibe of it all is great. Now I minus a star for expensive drink prices and another for the pinball machines being $1 each game. When I say expensive drinks I mean $6-10 for a 8 oz plastic cup mixed drink that is 80% ice. After 11 PM on weekends you can barely walk around because it just cant handle the traffic of people.
Excellent barcade! Old school arcade machines combined with a great selection of draft beers, half of which are from Arizona, makes for a very fun evening. The staff is also very friendly. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to get a decently priced draft and a couple of games of SF2.
Really unique little place with cool antique games and interesting drinks. I would come here again and play nostalgic games from my chilshood but music was incredibly loud, sounded like a nightclub!
Cobra is a great up and coming arcade bar. It gets crowded, but thats to be expected. Hopefully they can expand soon to accommodate the people and get in more games!
They could play some better music so the games could turn out more fun but its a nice place to chill and relax. Drinks are awesome too.
Great place to kickback, relax, and have fun! Great service, great drinks, and great music!!! Thank you.
Love the music, arcade games really good themselves found a lot of classical games that were the best
Fun and great energy to this bar/ arcade.
Great vibe. Great selection of games and they work. Im addicted to Pac-Man Royale now! Bartenders were friendly and helpful and made great drinks.
Drinks, old school games, good music and friends. This place has it all.
Awesome games
First time being there and I must say I wasnt disappointed. Service was prompt and very professional. As we entered we were greeted by security in a friendly and professional manner, made us feel very welcoming . Will definitely go again. Thanks.
Great job Cobra Arcade!! I hope we @ Topgolf get to return the favor!!!
Never been to a place like this before. The atmosphere is great and they have decent prices. Overall I had a great experience!
Great atmosphere Ritchie MANAGER was fantastic and accommodating thank you so much!!
Great place for hanging out! Good drinks, lots of staff, nice venue, cool games. We went on a Saturday night, and the only uncool thing was that it was pretty warm inside (probably due to how crowded it was). If that was tweaked a little it would have been great. Nice outdoor patio in the front, entry on the right side.
Great place tip play games and drink.
Always a fun atmosphere and having original arcade games makes it an enjoyable place even to go alone
Love this place. Some of the machines are a little run down but thats to be expected in the drunk gaming field
What a cool place! The bartender was really cool and very knowledgeable. The games were fun. The atmosphere felt very clean, safe, and open to have a good time. We arent really in to arcade games, but wanted to check this place out- we totally ended up geeking out playing so many games. It was nice to do something different while we drank. Thanks, Cobra.
Wife and I went there to play some pinball right after they opened.Pinball is 4 tokens per game ($1.00) and even with only 12 people in the whole place, the music was cranked up so loud we couldnt even talk to each other, let alone hear the pinball machine.Wont be going back......not a bar person anyway, which is why I went early expecting low crowds and no sensory overload.
Is sooooooooooooooooooo loud. Like almost painfully so. Like tall people might need to squat down to the hight of their friends just to hear them. The drinks are good though.
Really freaking cool- neat paintings everywhere, good music, all around rad vibe.
Took me back to my childhood. Good drinks, nostalgic atmosphere
Great place, fun atmosphere and good service
Always A great time brings back great old memories all games are 25 cents pinball a dollar just like I used to be centipede C AC/DC pinball mortal kombat Pac man Donkey Kong all the faves!!
Always a fun time here! Retro games are always fun!
An adult arcade in the heart of downtown TUCSON! It’s awesome. Great staff and big bar which makes it easy to grab a drink.
I really enjoy cobra for their reasonably priced drinks along with all of classic arcade games to play. Drinks + video games leads to a whole lotta fun! A favorite spot among my friend group.
Came in on a Saturday night. more of a club crowd than, well, a nerdy crowd. still, attentive staff and an okay selection of arcade games. xmen beat em up colossus controls are sticky!
Lots of cool and classic arcades. Would definitely go again on a date. Its easy to spend a lot of money on those games though drinks? Too pricey.
A very fun arcade bar! Tuesday are the best for free tokens with the purchase of a drink! Ask for Tafao since he is the best bartender in town!
Really fun place. It is a good change to the variety of bars available downtown. I hate the music, but I am a little older than the crowd that this bar would appeal to. The bartender was cocky and rude, but he was one person out of many otherwise good employees. Love the arcade games.
I had a great experience last time I went to Cobra because, for some reason, several of the games had free plays in them or were straight up free to play as much as you wanted. It had to have been some kind of weird coincidence, but if it was Cobras doing it was great. As a club, it is not. There is a DJ but no one is dancing. The security also pats you down like its some kind of posh club although the actual clubs in Tucson dont. Pat downs are fine if theyre looking for weapons only, but I bet they will turn you out or turn you in for paraphernalia which is stupid. It would be cooler if there was like a $5 cover and then all the games were unlimited free play, or if all the games without exception were $.25.
This place is awesome. The environment of the place is great. Games are fun too I definitely suggest coming here.
Dope. Fun. Go. Thats all
The bartenders are always nice and the bouncers. Theres no cover fee here and everything is super cheap. They have old 1980s to current arcade games. Plenty to do and have fun with. Theres a dance floor with DJ and its a very chill Atmosphere. Every game is priced at just 1 token.
Awesome place to time warp back to the day of coin operated arcade games.enjoy your favorite classics from the 60s to current day while drinking your favorite adult beverage.
AWSOME bar/arcade with some classics as far as games are concerned be sure to stop by on token Tuesday and every drink order comes with roughly $5.00 in tokens(at least that is how much I got) great place to hang with friends and socializd seemed relitivily popular with young adults and I had fun/a blast come try it out Im sure youll have fun if you like video games!!
Lots of Fun! Bar-Cades have been pretty popular for a while! Glad Tucson got one. Hopefully more shall follow!!They have good signature Drinks too!Expensive... But a nice interlude between Red Bull and Vodkas all night!
They have a better game selection than the Phoenix location. And I love the wall art
Awesome arcade games at affordable prices with a good (initial will have to check back) rotating draft selection. The lights, the atmosphere, the details... theyre awesome! The happy hour pricing is great, especially on Tuesday (today) when you get coins with your drink purchase
