Very difficult hike to the top but well worth the views! There are a lot of beautiful lookouts throughout the hike and of course at the summit!Wear long pants if you don’t like being attacked by brush and make sure you bring LOTS of water. The hike is 9 miles round trip and the gain in elevation is about 2,900 ft.
Really challenging hike especially the last mile up to the summit. It is incredibly steep and very loose but well worth the effort. When you think you see the top it isnt. The peak is actually another half mile or so behind that hill you see. The first 3 miles are much more tame but still rocky and rough in many sections. We rode it all the way up. If you mountain bike it is doable but be prepared for a lot of hike a bike action. The descent is incredible and very difficult, particularly the beginning from the summit. Excellent ride or hike if you are willing to put in some effort. It is no joke.
