Awesome park. Kids loved it and the pavilion and bathrooms were really nice

Place looks good but a worker killed a big rattle snake by picnic area this morning!!! They killed it though. They stay doing a great job at maintaining beautiful park.

Well kept park, usually quiet and peaceful, even when the kids are running wild. Hard to find a position to watch your kid from, so I end up walking all around the place to keep my eyes on my son, but he loves the place

Nice shady park. Good for hot days. A water(drinking) fountain would be nice. Update: They cut down a huge tree that once provided great shade for the playground equipment. Still shady in some areas and kids still love it

Great park with a good amount of shade, nice equipment, and is usually very clean! The event space is a nice option, and having restrooms so close to the park is a huge plus.

Great place to take the kids... Just a nice quiet place to go and walk and let the kiddos play.

This park attracts a rowdy crowd of both kids and adults and I dont feel comfortable letting my.kids play without me watching their every move, if we even go at all (weve only been about 3 times in 3 years but we drive by frequently)

The park design is not good at all! The parking lot is in the back, playground in the middle and the only seating for parents is the gazebo or the pavilion(which is too far from the playground). Even if you are walking around with your children if they enter the playset they can easily come out of the other side and go into the parking lot in a matter of seconds without you knowing! No gates or fencing to prevent children from going right into the road or the parking lot.

We were visiting from out of state and had our six and eight year old girls with us, looking for something to do during our stay and found this quaint little park. Lots of cool little things to do there while were hanging out, probably spent about 2 hours.

Its a beautiful park, but theres normally older kids hanging out and unattended children... we wont go very often.

Got off work after working 11 hrs, my Granddaughter called me on the,way home ask could I take her to the Murphee Park, so tired in the body but I took her and her friend, then I got out the car thinking I would swing on the swing inside the gazebo, lol looked up and there was no swing, will somebody tell the city of Troy we need that swing back up......

Just miss the swing under the gazebo

Located in the hood and never have I seen any employees of the city which are over the upkeep and operation of the park. Bad part of town so not great place to be after Dark
