Nice place for a walk. For years I’ve enjoyed spending time here with friends, family, and my dog. Especially during the pandemic, it’s nice to see a few people doing the same. People tend to wear masks and keep to their own space, and it’s very pretty particularly in fall and spring. The array of amenities and places to walk around are nice, my favorites are the lake and small forest.

Beautiful park Ive been lucky to enjoy for years. They could stand for more grips or traction on the wooden bridges that get quite slick in the rain.

Hadnt visited in a few years, but decided to check it out and take some photos with the new camera. Beautiful during the fall and well maintained. Not very many people either for early November.

One of the most beautiful parks ive seen seen ive been in the Tigard area. So clean and peaceful. Lots of trash cans, seating area to meditate or just need time away Plus a great place to walk.

Summerlake Lake City Park is a relaxing place for a walk/run, or take the kids to the playground, or to sit back and enjoy the view. The paved walking path is ADA accessible with no steep grades, just a couple of slight inclines.

Beautiful small but intricate park with tons of wildlife everywhere you turn. It was very busy, but the layout makes it easy to avoid people.

Great place to play pokemon go, if you go hear to bike around the park you might need to alert some people by saying on your left

Favorite of the kids! Large open spaces, walking path around the pond (lake) and through the wooded sections, and two play structures mean that in good weather we can easily spend several hours here.

Summerlake City Park is such a wonderful gem nestled in the neighborhoods of the great city of Tigard.It has a great path circling around it with many off-shoots that can take you to the off-leash Dog Park, a tour through a “tree park,” and paths that lead to the lake.There is a great play area for kids and a large soccer field.And the Fall colors are just amazing!

Such a nice park just wish people would learn how to pick up their garbage when done being there. Just picked up a bags worth of trash before leaving. Other than that its beautiful

Beautiful natural area with wide paved path. Perfect for anyone who is a fall risk or need a walker or wheelchair. A small section of the path is an uneven dirt path, but you can follow the sidewalk around it and rejoin the path where the pavement begins again. There are two play areas for children and one for dogs.Definitely a great spot to do some walking and see lots of wildlife.

The perfect place to take your hairy best frien to spend some quality time them.

The family absolutely loves summer lake park! We have been enjoying it for 8 years. Walking my dog around the lake on a regular basis, I get a great outing and watch the goslings grow.There is a nice covered area. Dont forget to reserve or you may not get it! Two play grounds, multiple paths, play fields and a dog park.There are some who insist walking their dogs off leash but that is not the fault of the park

Beautiful park that surrounds peaceful Summer Lake. Walking trails wrap around the lake, many benches with picturesque viewpoints, two play grounds, a covered shelter with picnic tables, two tennis courts, soccer goals, and a full size basketball court. Great place to spend the day outside.

We call it the green park. Good place to sit and watch the kiddos play. Plenty of shade for the adults.

I recently moved close to this favorite park of mine. Small but packs a good punch for beauty, walking paths, playground, dog park, etc. Ive enjoyed visiting through the changing seasons and taking photos of the beautiful lake and surroundings.

Great place to take walk and enjoy the outdoors. My kids love riding their bikes and scooters at the park. They also truly enjoy the two playgrounds at the park. If you have a dog there is a great dog park to let your dog get some exercise. Plus tennis courts, soccer field, baseball field, and basketball courts.

Awesome park has everything from a dog park to frisbee golf and trails through the entire thing has a huge play ground and ball fields in areas plus the lake is beautiful. Its free and fun for everyone or to just clear your head and think. I love this park enjoy!

Nice community park for picnic and relaxing. There is a small lake that runs through and a walk trail that connects with fanel Creek, pet friendly also. There are public restroom in the park and plenty of public parking if you drive to the park.

Great neighborhood park, with just about everything! Two playgrounds for the kids, tennis courts, soccer field, a three bridges and a lake! Oh yeah... horseshoe pits, baseball diamond, covered reservable picnic area, BBQs and a dog park! Plus Rhododendron garden, turtles, massive goldfish (carp) frogs, herons, bald eagles, coyotes, beaver, ducks and geese. Good paved walkways around lake and short trails to discover. Several permanent restrooms with sinks.

Pretty good dog park they have a separated grass area that is closed up during the winter because it gets too muddy. Most of the people that come here are very friendly Ive only seen one or two aggressive dogs that have gone unchecked. Pretty rare occurrence. Clean and easily accessible the only thing that I would like better is if they repaired the gate and made it a little bit easier to get in and out.

Nice park! Big dog park area, seems to be divisible into two sections (?big/little dogs would be my guess?) But when we were there, the dividing gates were open.At least two playgrounds with new style play structures.2 problems:1. Most of parking is on the residential streets that surround the park2. Complete lack of directional signage, theres not even a map of the park available.

Lots of geese and a great lake view. There are 2 playgrounds here. The soccer field is by the area for bigger kids. There is a smaller area with baby swings near the basketball and tennis area. There are even restrooms. Over all a very nice park.

This is such a beautiful place to walk, jog, enjoy being outside, seeing wildlife! I walk my dog here after work and the full loop around is one mile all the way around or you can cut through to make for a shorter walk. There are childrens play grounds, basketball courts, dog park, big open fields, and everythings beautiful. Highly recommended

Beautiful park. I swear theres a big damn turtle swimming around in the lake. I SAW IT! It was hideous.......ly wonderful! Great place to take the family and as far as I could see, none of those pesky homeless folk hiding in bushes waiting to eat the children.Seriously though, watch your kids.

Summer lake park lived up to its name today... even though it is technically winter. My 19 month old daughter enjoyed the playground and the honking Canada geese.

It’s a big park and haven’t seen the whole thing. I’ve only gone to the far side to the right of the dog park near the field. But it’s a Beautiful park with a lake/ large pond, walking paths throughout, w/ bridges, fields, willows, and lots of geese and ducks. Which in hand make lots of geese and duck droppings everywhere in the grass.

Gorgeous park with lots of wildlife, a gorgeous lake and a great place for families and children. They have great paths for light nature trails and fun exploring all of the different terrains.

This park is the best park EVER. Tucked away in Tigard is this gorgeous well maintained park. Its so much more than a silly park. The dog park is AWESOME. The lake is gorgeous and I feel I can get lost on the trails. Having parking is a huge plus. Will definitely miss this place when I move.

Summerlake Park is a beautiful neighborhood park with two playgrounds, a dog park, a paved loop around a small lake as well as a larger walking path loop that ventures through a forest of cedars and fir trees. There are also a few grass fields with well-maintained grass. This is a family-friendly park that is worth the walk or drive. The playground on the west side of the lake is better for the littles. Also, watch your step when near the lake, goose droppings abound.

Playground equipment for kids, tranquil lake, paved trails, lots of shady trees. Just watch out for goose poop in the grassy areas, its everywhere.

Contemporary playground for ages 2-12, soccer area and excellent walking paths with very clean restrooms. One star ding due to a lot of goose poop one the grass since it is on a habitat lake.

We Love walking at cook park.it is about 4 miles around the whole park. Its trails go through woods, along the river and across bridges. It is beautiful. There are two dog parks, many pic nik areas, soccer fields, play grounds,butter fly gardens. They host 5k races there, 4 th of July fireworks, balloon festival and other events.

We played at the Green playground this week. Its nice sized, has trees for shade, benches facing the play structure, picnic tables under the trees, grass areas to play in, a bathroom, and a water faucet if you get thirsty. Theres a big saucer swing that can hold up to about 4 kids (depending on their size), and two infant/toddler swings. It was fairly peaceful considering there were several adults with children there. Pretty sure my kids liked it enough to go back.

This is such a great park! Taking one star off for the massive amounts of goose poop.

Its a cute little part to walk around. Theres always people walking their dogs, usually some geese to shoo out of the way. You can find osprey diving in the lake for fish, sometimes a beaver swimming around. Thats a cool little Park to have right in the middle of town. Two thumbs up.

The dog park is great. Just a big fenced in square. They have a double-gated entry, water spout and containers for the dogs, plenty of seating and shade for the humans, and usually some poop bags. Ive been a few times now and have had very good experiences. The owners and dogs that use this park are friendly and responsible.

One of my favorite parks in the Greater Portland Area and definitely my favorite for my neighborhood! I love the many different options it provides, especially the lake the paved trail system around it and the park. The pave trail is great for family bike rides. I also like the the playground amenities offered on both sides of the park (especially the west side near the soccer fields). The park has lots of options for families to enjoy.
