Great place with all the amenities! Perfect for parties. Tons of space to social distance, well kepted and maintained. Police do regular walk thrus daily and theres a group who gather to play their string instruments. Its really a gem. Cook park also connects to Juanita and another park. Bring your bikes, remote cars, kits, scooters, boats, food, ect.

This was our first visit and I cant wait to explore further! I was a bit bummed that few to no parkgoers were wearing masks. At least there are a bunch of side trails to explore with even less people. There are tons of scenic spots to stop at and just meditate and renew yourself in nature. The bathrooms are also thankfully open here (with soap!) because a gals gotta go and lots of the parks have kept their bathrooms closed. I cant wait to go back!

This is a great family park! A great place to take your kids to run around in the open air for an afternoon. I have found the area at the soccer and baseball fields are not busy and have ample parking. I bring my blanket, a lawn chair, a good book and a cooler and read as the kids burn off energy. Great bike and walking trails too.

Nice park with great amenities... good put in place for paddling (board or kayak) up stream for a couple hours past houses, docks, route 99 bridge and estuary area .. then a gentle coast back down stream. Water is not in my opinion somewhere I would entertain intentional swimming but lots of folks were in. VERY CROWDED. .. literally 100+ folks on the river. But overall a nice close place to play.

We went here for a social distancing family picnic. We didnt use the picnic tables because they were dirty and there were a lot of hornets around them. We set up our chairs and tables in an open area not far from the restrooms for convenience. There was one restroom open and it was surprisingly pretty clean! While we were there, they actually cleaned them again.Great little park and there was lots of free parking.

Gorgeous little park thats (thankfully) not at all crowded. Great for the family or just a leisurely solo stroll; replete with soccer fields, a quaint butterfly garden, cement and forest paths, playgrounds aplenty, pavilions, and hidden tuck-aways to lounge by the river. It also conveniently connects with most parks in the area via the Greenway. Very nice.

Cook Park is a fantastic local park here in Tigard. The three phenomenal cities of Durham, Tigard, and Tualatin have worked together to create a local recreational network that includes walking, biking, jogging trails as well as great places to walk your furry family including off-leash parks. And boat ramps for SUP Boards and Kayaks. There are multiple options for parking to reach the park. The most direct is from SW Durham Rd, taking SW 92nd Ave to the end.Cook Park offers great play areas for kids, sports fields, and a boat launch area which is an ideal place to start a kayak adventure on the Tualatin (“Lazy”) River, which is mellow and fun.Overall it’s part of an incredible local Tri-City resource.

The water is disgusting, and very crowded. If you dont mind a ton of people without any care of the Virus or the need of space and the use of masks then you wont mind this very crowded river access. Free parking and a lot of trail to walk. It does have a swing for the kids. I will not be returning to this place as the water is the worst.

I wish they had couple of more pavilion on the weekends can get crowded. People are very friendly and love to share their food with you. We always take some seeds with us so we can feed the ducks. I would recommend this park for picnic and event gathering. We did see a lot birthdays going on in the park. Hope that helps.

Great park, easy access to the river. One star off cause both times I’ve been here in the past 2 weeks with my kids (7 & 11), there’s been the same group of teens with terrible potty mouths, talking about sex loudly across the river, etc. I get it, they are teens but that’s not what I need my kids to hear during a nice relaxing afternoon on the river.
