Nice park next door to the museum and although we didnt get to visit the museum, we did talk with the gardenar who was onsite. What a pleasure! Also that park is beautiful, we walked through the stand of trees, took pictures of the many butterflies and played hide and seek.
Little local museum to honor the namesake of the city. The house was moved to its current location when from its original place near Hey 99. Amazing that it is being preserved!
Fun events held over the years, wife and I like the Christmas themed one each year.
This museum has limited hours, always accomdating when you call. There is a ton of history in the house, and the volunteers are all very knowledgeable. They have fun activities throughout the year, and there is a nice park very close.
Nice Christmas event
