A little bit on the expensive side if you dont buy online or have a student ID. However Taco Tuesdays have a buy one get one deal. Going on a less busy day gives you plenty of time to enjoy the exhibits. Staff does go around attempting to help take photos or make suggestions on which angles to take them. The taco you get is pretty good. Overall a fun experience but probably not worth the full admission price. Would do again if it were a bit cheaper.
Deborah, the manager at tacotopia hired me for a contracting job last year at the taco festival at westworld. She never paid my invoice of $500 never returns my calls. I went out of my way to install graphics on her booth when she was desperate for the help. These are the photos of the work I did and the tickets she sent me. Im sure the tacos are just ok
SUPER, SILLY FUN!Go and enjoy it with family, with friends, with whoever. There was everyone from families with little kids to groups of teens, to people on dates. Mechanical taco was a definite hit. Most of the exhibits are a lot of fun, a few are witty, and a few are fillers.Bottle of Jarritos and a taco (or two, if you ask nicely) are included with the ticket and are pretty good! Staff was friendly, helpful, and having a good time, too, which made it more fun.Five stars worth of a good time, but it would be a good value at about half the price, so had to drop a star.
Very cute place but not really worth $22 dollars! The lighting is not good at all, lots of the light bulbs didn’t work and for a place for just pics, not good lighting at all. You get 1 ticket for a drink and 1 ticket for a taco, the tacos are mini and sorta of good. It’s such a cute place but it’s something you could save your money on!
Its a great deal if you buy them online on their website on Taco Tuesday. Put promo code Twosday. The actual edible tacos there were tasty and you see them make it on site. The staff is kind and theres lots of props to interact and take pictures with. Some of the props were breaking apart, but besides that, it was awesome.
This place was awesome! I had great time and got some really good pictures! Staff was very friendly and my girlfriend absolutely loved it! If you ride the taco you’re gonna have a good time! Very creamy
I had so much fun at Tacotopia ! Such a great place to interact with many people my age and same interests as myself. Awesome photo opportunities as well that you don’t want to miss! loves it ️
10/10 would recommend! Great staff! V accommodating! Absolutely loved the taco ride.. if you havent gone you better go! It’s a must!
Very pleasant experience. Staff was amazing and very welcoming. Great place to take a side girl or even your main chick. Fire pics for the gram. They did a great job with this place!
This place exists solely for taking photos and tagging the place to attract more people. The experiences are just booths to take pictures and advertise soda and hot sauce (and yes, ride a mechanical taco). If thats your thing, go for it, but it wasnt what we were expecting at all based on museum.
It was a good photo op place. If you love everything tacos, you can take some cute pics.. it gets busyThe staff is friendly.
Brought my niece for a day out at Tacotopia and was blown away by the staff and venue. From the moment we walked in we were blown away, my niece had a blast with the guac pit and all the fun and unique photo opportunities. The mechanical taco sealed the deal for our amazing day. Would recommend for all ages and the tacos were a plus! Will be back soon!
Amazing venue to take great pictures! A must see experience for the entire family! Can’t wait to take my girlfriend there she’s gonna have so much fun!!! The owner was such a kind and heartwarming individual! The manager deserves a raise for the experience he gave my family and I!
If you love tacos (and even if you dont) you will definitely enjoy Tacotopia! Went with a few friends and couldnt stop commenting on how cool every installation was. Convenient location, great staff.
Unbelievable and incredibly well done. Went with a few friends, not knowing what to expect. Much more innovative than I could have imagined. I’ll be going back before it ends!
Coolest place Iv been to in awhile! I had a blast checking out all the creative work, definitely recommend stoping in! The staff were helpful and very nice to me and my family.
Whats NOT to love about Tacotopia?? My friends and I went to Tacotopia and had a blast! Theres so many cute places for pictures and the tacos are bomb. If you are a taco fanatic, this is the place for you! Will definitely be going back!
I went with my girlfriends and we had a blast! They have a mechanical taco, a foam pit, taco teeter totter, and a lot of different taco themed areas to take pictures. Make sure you bring your A-game for plenty of pics
Tacotopia is literally a taco lovers dream in real life! Everything from a taco ride (bull ride) to the guac pit. Me and my friends left craving Mexican food for a week. Tacotopia lives up to all the buzz and more. Definitely worth checking it out!
Glad to hear and see that this is an actual exhibit and not a scam like your previous Decades Experience. Nice job, West 54 Productions. You clearly learned your lesson!
ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCES IVE EVER BEEN TO!!! Highly recommend this fun event and the best part is the tacos are
What an awesome place and a unique idea! Who doesn’t love tacos? The whole place made me feel happy! The colors, the music, the installations were just so original. A guac pit? I was ready to dive in! Great place for kids, or adults if you want to do something different. Go ahead, have some tacos, hang out in the exhibits and post your pics on Instagram... genius! Well worth it.
Saw a few people on Instagram posting pictures from the Santa Monica location so decided to check it out. Theres all different rooms with varying taco themes that you can interact with including a mechanical bull you can ride! They all had really good tacos to try.
Bought tickets for the latest appointment slot, only to be turned away at the door and told they don’t stay open that late. The guy at the front desk apologized and said that he would have the owner get in touch with me if I left my info. He said that he would make sure I got a refund. I left my contact info and emailed twice, but never heard anything back. $60 completely wasted.
I’m not going to burrito around the bush here because there’s so much to taco about. TacoTopia was awesome! This is nachos typical pop up because in addition to the staff being awesome it was just a one of kind experience that brings you out of your shell. All the different rooms were great to smile, say cheese and take pictures in. The mechanical taco was by far my favorite part so when you go I highly recommend you taco walk on the wild side. In queso you haven’t had a chance to go I suggest you salsa on over and thank me later!
What an amazing experience! Truly creative and well done, got many great pics for my IG account. If youre looking to have a happy fun-filled day then I highly recommend stopping by Tacotopia. You guac-ed my world Tacotopia!
I died and went to heaven at Tacotopia. My favorite exhibit was the sideways cantina! Everyone is so friendly and the environment screams fun. I had no idea the Cholula bar would have so many options for me to try! Def going back with more friends
Its such a fun experience, youll want to stay as long as possible.
This place truly exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be back again!
The most creative and unique approach to the celebration of all things tacos. Definitely worth checking out.
What a fun, innovative and creative concept! The taco-bilities are endless ;) Will definitely be back...
Had a great time! So many different backdrops, awesome experience.
My wife took me and the kids here for father’s day, I’m not into all this millennial Instagram selfie sh** however the place was amazing. The enthusiastic employees whom help in every which way possible was a pleasant gesture. 10/10 experience
Amazing experience, highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good time. Great date idea for sure, breaks up the norm of the same old stuff every weekend.
The place is so cool! I got to meet the brains behind the operation, Chantz, he is one cool cat too!
I was very excited to attend this event to only be disappointed. I, my aunt and a friend from overseas attended on 9/28 at Noon, that is a week after opening in Phoenix. When we arrived we were told to wait as the maximum number of people were in the exhibit. Our tickets were barely looked at and not even scanned, which i found odd. Once inside it was not air conditioned and very warm. No employee was around so we just started taking pictures. There was 1 group of people who didnt seem to understand that anyone besides them were taking pictures, no employee seemed to be paying attention or helping to facilitate good pictures. While we waited for a certain booth, we tried to get our taco (there was no chip and salsa sampling as promised and on the ticket) we were told theyd be ready in 5 minutes. We finished taking pictures at the whole rest of the exhibit, tried again to get the taco and were told again to wait, we saw 2 people in the hour we were there with tacos and we never received ours. Asked about a gift bag was told they didnt give them out and that it wasnt on our ticket which is ridiculous because it clearly was. Went to try and find out how to get the Jarrisco from yet another unhelpful employee who told us she had no idea what we were talking about, she didnt attempt to find out. Wandered over to the Cholula booth, asked employees there about the gift bag and jarrisco they hem and hawed while standing in front of cases of the soda and behind a large display of the hot sauce. Eventually we were given hot sodas and salsa (this is apparently the gift bag, 1 bottle of Cholula in a bag). Finally I got home and looked at my pictures, so i could edit them. It was a nightmare, 1 booth has words crooked, found this out trying to make the words be straight but then the image is crooked. Several booths the flooring and the walls dont meet so has to be super cropped in to look like the advertisement. Some exhibits (in my case the Statue of Liberty one) you can barely fit 1 person in the image but they advertise it with 3 people. The Taco Dirty to Me they advertise with groups, you cant get far enough back without going into another exhibit to take a photo like that. One photo i had to crop in really close so there wasnt a trash can in the picture. Overall not very professional.I emailed my complaints and was offered 1 ticket to come back (why would i want to endure that and also you cant take pictures by yourself there and them turn out well, plus 3 tickets were paid for). I emailed back thanking for the offer and explaining that my friend had been visiting from overseas sooo i couldnt really try again and could i please have a refund. That was over a week ago and no further communication. I have reported them to the FTC for false advertising.
Best spot to visit well in Santa Monica!! I would definitely recommend it.
Had so much fun! Tons of photo opps, and the tacos were tasty too!
If you are a loyal Taco Tuesday veteran and I mean you never miss a Tuesday and cant make it through the week without them then this is the place for you. Cloudy with a chance of tacos, Round 2!
How many places can you find where you can eat a taco, ride a taco and swim in some Guac that isnt extra? Great Idea!
Had a great time! Very well organized.
Wow! Just wow! What a unique and amazing time we had at TacoTopia today! The taco/bull ride was easily the highlight of the day. They also had a Cholula hot sauce tasting where discovered some flavors we didn’t even know existed! Chili Garlic!? Gtfo! Serious go check this place out before it closes!
So many different backdrops to take pictures! My favorite one was the guacamole one, so punny. Cholula is also the biggest sponsor, which was just the cherry on top.
Me and my boys looked hella cute in that guac pit.
Love the Idea! Awesome photo locations and great staff!
Incredibly fun place for the family. The guac pit was fun, but riding the mechanical taco was my favorite part. You also get snacks along the way leading up to the taco. I sampled like 90 different cholula hot sauce flavors with chips, then had a jarritos soda to wash it all down. Then it was on to the main course. The tacos were BOOOMMMBBB. Got a lot of good content for my Instagram Would recommend
This place is the coolest! Def a must check out.
Best idea ever .. because tacos are LIFE
Such an awesome idea executed perfectly!
Best Tacos going baby!
Blown away!! Such an awesome experience!
Highly recommend for a date!
Great food and visual experience
An ubiquitous display and celebration of tacos. Need I say more?
