I worked here for not too long and Im glad I didnt. Communication in this job was terrible. The manager never contacted me directly for anything. Favoritism was a huge thing I noticed from the short time I worked there. Employees that had terrible work ethic and attitude were fine doing the bare minimum while others that truly cared about their position and worked hard never satisfied the manager enough. Manager would always blame workers for issues they either couldnt control or were her own. There was no trust in the employees and I felt like a child working there. They took phones away because of mistakes from the employees that were favored, however only enforced it on everyone else. Instead of treating everyone as if theyre children, why dont you just get rid of those that cant do their job properly and stay on their phones? This is a work environment with ADULTS, not elementary school. I didnt mind putting my phone away, but the idea was childish. They were also really suspicious with the tips at times, either losing them or not having any. The general manager knew less over how parties worked than the party manager, however, shouldnt she be aware of every position and aspect of the job? Back to the favoritism part, the same favorites would come in late and Id have to wait over 30 minutes most times for them to fill in for me at front desk. And when I had told the manager that I had to go and that I was going to leave at my scheduled time she then laughed and said I couldnt leave and to just wait for her. They called me out for always wanting to leave early, however they never said anything to the same girl who would come in late each time. It wasnt just a one-time thing, it was a regular. They could have fixed this issue by taking care of the front until she got there and letting me leave. I shouldnt be responsible for her being late each time. They seemed to care more about me wanting to leave on time than her being late because of the, as I said, favoritism. The job itself was just super funky and I wouldnt recommend working here. Some employees would also be under the influence sometimes or do inappropriate things at work. (not sure if they still work there). I rarely got to meet the owners, however they seemed nice. I think the major issue is honestly management. Long story short, if you decide to work here good luck. And if you decide to visit as a customer, the 2 hr unlimited is the best tbh unless youre not staying for long, because I promise you that you might spend more than you planned. (only $30) But honestly, just go to like Qzar (if you want to play laser tag) or Dave & Busters lol.
I can only review the arcade/prize area since thats all I experienced this time. The young man who was working the counter was friendly, attentive and helped me out when one of the games didnt work after I swiped my card. I found the arcade here to be a bit lackluster. Pricing on game play was about the same as other arcades, that was fine. I just didnt find a lot of games that I enjoyed playing and a few of the games werent working. The prize center is not great and everything in it is overpriced. 900 tickets for a very small, unlicensed plush. Its cute, but you definitely get more bang for your buck at D&B and Main Event. Im giving it 3 stars just because the staff was good and it probably is better for younger kids, just wasnt for me.
Fun place, lots of games price was good. Laser tag was fun .lot of things to were the kids out. They even had a play area for small children. Staff was very good!
I loved the variety of games. The facility is very large and gives patrons plenty of space to play freely without interference due to social distancing. I also saw an employee routinely walking around cleaning the machines. Only drawback- indoor bowling! Dont waste your money. The balls get stuck and by the time an employee retrieves them your game times out and there are no refunds.
Loved this place!! Kids had a great time and so did we adults. Full bar and food was amazing. Not to mention its real affordable. Myself, wife and three kids spent just $100 and was there at least 4 hours. $80 would honestly be plenty including food and youll enjoy it all. Lots to do here. Well be back for sure.
We had fun! great for the family. Some of the games didnt work but the kids had a blast!
Great place with lots of games and attractions but very pricey. I spent 30 minutes in there and wasted $60 in games. Originally I called before going and was told each game is a dollar on average. That was a lie on average each game was $2 non ticket winning games at most . I went with 4 kids And all they did was complain considering the fact my kids are aware of the amount of money Im spending and I didnt complain about it . I spend $40 at chucky cheese and get 2 hours of game play with a pizza . Great place but considering lowering your prices.
It was okay! Looked way more fun on the pictures before actually getting there. Pluses: Bar, food, place for parties, great for all ages. Better for kids that are 11 and under
Great for children parties or events!! The center & games is set up like a kiddie Dave & busters style.
Was fun lots of options for kids and the laser tag was a blast but alot of the games were not working properly.
The kids loved this place ... Much more to do then the traditional arcade places and they have age appropriate play areas from toddlers all the way up to adults... definitely worth the drive to Tampa for a new place to go with the kiddos.
PK PlayZone & Grill has a huge selection of Arcade games, as well as pool tables, air hockey table so and bowling. Now they of course also have mini golf and laser tag. Even a climbing rig. Now the prices of the games are kind of high in my opinion and they made it pretty difficult to earn tickets. The good prizes are super expensive. The grill has some food options but it was all microwave food. So it was kind of disappointing. Overall, it was clean and everything looked to be maintained and functional.
Our entire family loved PKs Fun Zone. Nice people and lots to do. Had a great time.
DO NOT RECOMMEND THE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE EVERYTHING WAS BROKEN ITS ALL AROUND TRASHY 0 out of 10
Perfect place to bring your children! They have it all. The price for the games are a little over priced but its still worth coming.
We thought this place was Awesome but expensive. On their web site they claim Ridiculously Low Prices. We didnt think so. Like a regular claw game was $2 per game when it should of been no more then a $1. The Mini golf was well decorated. The ninja courses and lazer tag were around $8 per round, per person. $100 went way to fast.
I love it but can u add gaming consoles like ps4 and xbox for the teens.the teens can play callofduty,2K20, Madden, brawlhalla ect.
Fun place overall. Not experienced the putt-putt or courses, but the games vary. Like in most arcades, some machines dont always work that great. They are good about refunding lost credits though.Tuesday and Wednesday half price games are a steal. The little lady and I were bored and went up there. Didnt take us long to beat the shooters and still have the majority of our credits left over for another visit. Havent tried their bar service yet, so no idea on the prices.Check it out, its a good time.
The kids love it here, and so do I.
We came here for the very first time on 6/9/20 as it was my daughters 8th birthday. There were only a few people in the building, mainly employees who were all very nice and accommodating. We ended up purchasing the $50 2 and a half hour all you can play game cards for my son and daughter with the understanding that they would be able to play laser tag which is the reason we drove from Hudson to come here. We were told only after paying for the more expensive game passes that they could not play laser tag as there has to be 4 kids to play and they were the only two children in the building. I asked if we could be put on a list or something so if other kids came in and wanted to play, then maybe my kids wouldve had a chance but was told no. We were all pretty disappointed about that and the fact that the air was not working at all inside the building. The employees had sweat dripping off of them and although the kids still had fun, they complained about how hot it was and we ended up spending more money on drinks then what we originally planned. The facility and games were very clean and the wings were probably the best we have had in a while. A lot of the games were not working the day we went and the kids were not impressed with the prize selection. When you purchase the 2 and a half hour game pass it comes with 500 tickets on it and the number of tickets will not increase while the kids are playing games. Each kid was hoping to walk away with at least a few things, maybe a few pieces of candy but even with them combining their tickets, they were only able to get a bag of gummy bears to split for 750 tickets and then a few cheap little keychains.
The owners are wonderful however the GM Annette is very inexperienced and unprofessional. She would ask her prep cook and sous chef how to do things because she didn’t know herself and she didn’t even know how to set up her own line or manage tickets properly. The GM Annette was absolutely terrible and the worst GM I have ever seen. I really hope Pks finds a better GM so their business doesn’t go down. isn’t a good place to work they don’t care enough about your health and just schedule you crazy hours and the staff isn’t reliable and unprofessional. Nobody really gets disciplined when needed. Trash management poor staffing want you to be a slave they talk to you sideways let food sit n window and get cold instead of running the food out to the guests Management lies about cross training their employees. They dont appreciate their cooks either. You have a bad attitude for a week/one day they hold that against you. Yet they say they move people up within. Not true. Ive been working there since Last March 2019 and still not cross trained. Always some excuse as to why they cant. They absolutely play favorites. Dont work here you wont move up at all. They also do fake reviews to make the place look good fake reviews by the employees.
They close early was only bad thing so far Ill keep u posted
Had birthday party here Sunday for my 8 year old son & was very disappointed in the place paid close $300 & all it did was pay for a room to sit in for 90 mins. lol nothing organized it was a mess...very disappointed and will not be going back we had better time at chuckie cheese than here way to expensive.& the kids only get a 5$ playcard and thats only like 2 maybe 3 games in this place....where chuckie cheese u get a 20$ card for hour of play time. ...like I said not worth it...
This place is great! Fun fir all ages. Jose was our host and was very attentive. I would recommend this place for a party or just a night out with family.
Play zone is great, Very family oriented but the food is definitely on the warm side it was almost cold when we received it. And it was almost 11 minutes before we got it. No reason the food should have been almost cold and no reason 2 small drinks should have coated 2.50 each. Got kids chicken tenders and fries and chili cheese fries and two drinks that where the size of McDonalds kids drinks for almost $25. That is expensive and to get pretty much cold food. Not worth it. But the arcade area is family fun definitely will go back with my kids but will not eat their again. Price not worth quality of food.
I had a great time at pk play zone Brandon was so helpful and friendly
Its not perfect, but its on its way to perfection! This place has it all - Arcades, rock climbing, laser tag, mini bowling, bumper cars, restaurant and full bar. Its an adult and kid fun zone! This is by far the cleanest and nicest arcade and entertainment center I have been to in Tampa. The hours are awesome and the food was amazing not your typical mediocre all Frozen all fried food you find at other similar places.I guess my only constructive criticism feedback would be to possibly have more of a manager presence. The second time we visited the entire mini bowling section was down and no one was around to explain why there was also some trash and items left behind that looked sloppy and not maintenanced, the restaurant closed early and we spent $60 and still only had enough tickets to buy $2 worth of candy I think there is a gap that needs to be worked in the gift shop area.Other than that it is a must-visit for sure!
It would be nice if you updated google to notify that you were temporarily closed. We thought you open based on Google.
We went to PKs today with our social group of special needs adults. Annette and the girl at the front counter were so wonderful and patient with all of our questions when we were trying to decide what we wanted to do. Throughout PKs, we continued to find happy and extremely helpful employees. The young man taking our food orders was especially kind. The girl operating the laser tag said she wasnt sure if the loud music would affect our group, so she took the initiative to turn the music down. I was blown away at her proactive thinking! It was a rainy Saturday, so PKs was pretty busy. Regardless of the crowd, the staff stayed happy and helpful. Such a great experience, our group will definitely be back! Thanks for a great day.
Ok clean some good games for kids mostly for teenagers middle school kids and grade 3 up but some stuff for parents college kids with bar.Games pricey
Solid Spot and Toddler Friendly! Really is a neat play zone for Adults or Small Children.Honorable mention for Nate the great on his superb management skill set. Always makes us feel welcome even though we barely go since we are now on the other side of town.
Fun times with the family and friends. There was about 13 of us, and we paid for the Platinum cards that gave us unlimited attractions and some games. It was worth the money. Everyone had something to do: air hockey, bowl, laser tag, rock climbing, pool table, darts and lots of fun games. There was putt-putt golf and tight rope walking. There is also a food area that ordered wings, drinks and fries from. The prices are decent and competitive. The staff was super nice! And PKs was clean in every area. Definitely recommend for at least one time.
I brought my wife and kids and paid $135.00. As far as price goes it s somewhat in the median of all other family fun centers. I do not recommend the Family of four, two hour package. None of the attractions were amazing, but they were each a good taste of each activity. Definitely one of those places were you can have your cake and eat it too, but at the cost of limited entertainment. The arcade machines are far and few in between and are extremely modernized. Majority of them being games that you could play on your phone often times for free. I think they ultimately fell short and rather than having to classic arcade experience decided to go with the bigger money grabbers. It was a fun experience for my kids but I don’t think I’d go again. That being said if you’re coming here for laser tag I would recommend against it as it’s not the most enjoyable laser tag course. If I could give an age recommendation it would be between the ages 3 and 10. Anyone older than that will lose interest as there are other places you can go that are more entertaining, but are limited to specific experiences. As far as the staff goes they were pretty respectful and lenient. A lot of them will give you a tongue in cheek or wink of the eye answers, which is nice. For the snowflake parents with baby bumper children, it’s a relatively safe place. The staff monitors the smaller children areas to make sure that older children are not interrupting their fun or risking their safety..
This is the second time we go there and we had leftover credits and unused attraction entrances. the staff there was very helpful since we are not very experienced at this place we are fortunate enough to take our small toddler niece and nephew and they had a great time overall the experience was great and cant mention enough of how great the staff is keep up the great work and we will be returning soon as well as recommending to other families
Nice place. With a acceptable prices and the best pizza in the area. Party saloon. Laser tag room, bowling and a mini golf. Various electronics games. And a gift shop for the rewards. Update (01/25/2020) we celebrate my little son birthday at this marvelous place. Once again everything was great. Jose our party assistant was SUPERB !!! He was all the time at every detail. This our preferred place to have fun with the family.
PKs was more amazing than I expected. Went on a Wednesday afternoon & It was perfect for me & my kids. The staff was MORE than helpful & sweet. The boy doing ninja help our kids get on top of the running wall. The girl at skytrail seen that my son was nervous and offered to go on with him. The food was good but the funnel cake fries were exceptional. The young man behind the bar was super nice & brought the food out to us. Thank you PKs!!
Had a great time! It was clean. The games were in great playing condition. Cant wait to go back.
Fun for everyone!!!! They have a lot to choose from as far as activities. It can get pricey but worth it. The food is ok. I would recommend eating before you go but snacks are good. If you sign up for emails you get 2 free attractions which is nice. The only thing that was disappointing was laser tag only because you have to have a minimum of 6 ppl to play where other places we have been my husband and son have been able to play just the two of them.
Paradise for the 7-13 year olds. Arcade games, rock wall, bowling, laser tag, just to start. Birthday rooms available for rent. Loud music pumping constantly. Flashing lights and loud arcade sounds, definitely sensory overload. Kids love it.
Did my daughters 10th birthday party here for the first time and I got to say I am beyond impressed with the staff first of all. I purchased a birthday party package and Jose was our host, he did everything.... I mean everything with a smile on his face, amazing service for the parents and the kids. Jose is the man lol...PKs is clean and very spacious definitely going back for more fun.
Fun for kids 12 and under.
Went on a Friday night. I was surprised to see that it was not crowded. It was very clean. Cool games. Nice adult area while kids play. Helpful staff.
Great place. Laser tag is fun (except for campers). Activities to wear the kiddos out. Music is unnecessarily LOUD, but loved the genre.
I was being generous by giving 3 stars, it should of been 2 stars ! If the doors were open for gaming, concessions should of also been open to serve patrons!
Excellent service by staff and management. Kids seemed to have a great time. Nice assortment of physical activities in addition to the games. Great concept to have sports bar area for the adults.
Kids love the bowling and the games. They have great food and drinks. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun but not too crowded. Be prepared for the kiddos to spend your whole paycheck here lol.
Pleasantly surprised by how nice and well put together everything was. Did not get to complete all activities (laser tag, ropes course, mini golf) but most are/seem like lite versions of what you would find at a location that might only offer 1 attraction. The card system to play games was convenient as well. Great rainy day activity but look into discount days as the games/attractions can add up quickly.
Chef Luis, had everything on point. My kids and I love it there. Always satisfied..
Great place. Lots to do and a good price. I prefer this place over Chuck e cheese! My son had a blast.
Nice place for my kiddos!
Fun place for family. Some Adult Bevs for older kids. And all kinds of FUN ACTIVITIES! GREAT PLACE GO VIST THEM! STAY COOL IN THE A.C.
Prices are a little high, bar and grill times are very inconsistent. We called ahead of time with a fairly large party to see how long the bar was open for the adults. It closed 2 hours befor the time given. This is not the first time this has happened.Same night we also spent over 130 for games and attractions, most attractions had no one there to help.Place is going downhill fast.
This place is cool. They have a variety of things to do such as Lazer Tag, Mini Bowling, Rock climbing, and even a sky trial. They also have a place for the little ones. They have a restaurant and pool tables. If you like parkour things they now have a American Ninja Warrior in their facility. Recomend for a fun place. Cheaper then Dave n Busters and more fun than Chuck e Cheese.
Chef Luis is amazing. He turned something as simple as a caesar salad and loaded fries (with real shredded cheese as a substitute in lieu of cheese sauce) into a delightful flavor collage.Joshua
Lots of fun. Plenty of games, laser tag, bowling. Adults need to rest ? Pizza and drinks at the bar.
Maya was very helpful and very personable and kind! Every time I come to Tampa I stop here and we will be back again for sure!
Total Rip Off. Overrated, overpriced and very deceiving bday packages. The ultimate package gets you 2 hours in the party room which no one stays in, cards are given and then $5 per kid for games which value is depleted in less than 5 minutes because all the games are avg $1.25, Laser tag didnt keep score and we were offered a free game but by the time our party was called, most kids had left. I paid over $350 for 10 kids and spent all my time negotiating with managers and loading individual kids cards to add more $ What a joke.
Love this place! Its great for your older and younger kids and for adults.... Our teenagers can have a blast while we play pool and darts or even join them for lazer tag and spinning bumper cars.... We go about 3 times a month now and definitely will continue going!
This place is freaking awesome!! & Its so clean!! My kids & I had a blast they especially LOVED the toddler area. Abdiel working the restaurant was SO amazing, greeted us with a huge smile and made us feel well appreciated! Definitely will be coming back! Loved the atmosphere & the Staff.
PK’s play zone is SO clean! The bathrooms are as well! My almost 3 year old had so much to choose from to play, & the toddler zone is really great!!! I live in New Tampa but this beats chuckie cheese by a long shot!!! Their staff is amazing, super friendly, patient, just great customer service all around!!! Thank you PK’s for caring about your customers!!! My son had a blast! We will be sure to come back!!
The hole Family loved the Birthday party
My family and I had a blast! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful! The attractions and games were a lot of fun! The prices were reasonable. Large and clean establishment. Fun for the whole family! Well be visiting again soon!
Tons of games for adults and kids, full bar, the game cards are cheap and it was cleaner than most other adult arcades. I definitely plan on going back for my nephews seventh birthday.
Great value on their half credit days. We were there for hours longer than we thought just trying to use up all our credits with a family of four. So many games and other entertainment.
The staff was super nice and helpful, they ensured we got all that we could out of that place. One member even played Lazer tag with us to even our team up so everyone was excited and thankful. We had a memorable time!
If youd ever get a moment when visiting Tampa, FL and have the kids with you, considering this place. With a host games my family traveled from Orlando, FL to the most amazing fun activities for a family. We are going back.
Super impressed with this place. Came here for a birthday party and was surprised by the amount of activities (not just video games). The activities range from bumper cars, laser tag and even a ropes course! The food for the party was nasty but my kid didnt care.
I am here now at this place with my five-year-old grandson it is his birthday and this place is amazing the staff is so friendly the food is great its a fun atmosphere its not expensive at all I love this place Im having such a good time its very clean and nice too
Chef Lewis was really good. Wings were on point. I started off with 2 orders and had to order another one. Soooo good
Great fun so much for your kids to do. Miniature American Ninja Warrior obstacle course for your kids, rock climbing, rip lines all kind of things for your kids including games arcades.
Went here with my toddler and 9 year old. He enjoyed the attractions the little one enjoyed running around. The manager stuck out she went above expectations for me every time she walked past us she put money on a game for my little monster. I didnt try the food it looked good tho. I didnt drink but I liked the fact there was that option. The floor was sticky but it looked clean in the establishment. Then when I went to get a prize I was told I couldnt because it exceed my tickets. I asked to buy it she then advised me I could not. Thankfully the nice manager bent the rules in my little ones favor. In my opinion money is money I think their lagging there and should change that policy. Anyways other than that we had an awesome experience.
This place is a step up from something like a Chuck E Cheeses, but Im not sold on the actual value for what you pay. We did a family pass which lets you in on unlimited attractions for 2 hours. We managed to play a couple games of laser tag, a round of mini golf, a free rock climbing walls, a game of bowling, and the ropes course. On paper it sounds like a lot, but all these activities felt pretty minimal in the execution. The ninja warrior course seemed to be the most popular attraction, but strangely enough is not included in the unlimited offer. There was also food and arcade games, but we didnt try either
Starting to get a little too expensive
Not bad for price.sections small.kids area small and have to be let out to get out.u are locked in each area
You can tell that they are really trying to upgrade this place.. this is a thumbs up! A toddler area was added which was nice. Really the place is super clean all except for the drinking fountains. Some of the games were disappointing due to there being time limits and not getting the balls fast enough, there was a pin ball game you could load different scenarios that took every credit. We are here for the games.. so this was the 3. We like this place it just seemed like the games are getting super slow
Awesome place for family to have fun
It was a good experience but felt definitely geared for younger crowd. Maybe a later arrival time would change that. Felt like a copy cat or jr D&B. Ticket requirements in gift shop excessive more than similar businesses. Food was made good but also very pricey. Choose wisely. Good variety of games. Kids would love it. I would go again in the right setting and extra money to burn. Visited for a team outing.
We had a fantastic time! So much to do! So much fun! Staff was great!
This place was great. The kids enjoyed it. They had a lot little games for the little ones. My 8 year old enjoyed it and my 2 year old. Even mom and dad enjoyed with the little bar and food. We didn’t get food but drinks were good. We spent $55 bucks got about 300 tickets. Very calm and clean place. I loved the bowling alley. We couldn’t try bumper cars because it was being remodeled but above all way better than I expected! Good job guys. Maybe some more toys for little ones is my only suggestion.
Fun kids environment. Watch for the little train ride kids right foot will get caught if hanging out.
This place has improved so much since the last time I was in there which was a long time. They have added so many more things for the kids to do, including the Ninja warrior obstacle course and mini golf. So much more fun!
Expensive and the tickets for kids was nothing like the other play places..games were good, toddler zone was ok. cleanish
The cook good as hell chief Lewis clutch
We celebrated my sons 16th birthday here and let me tell you, it was awesome! At first I thought it was for younger children but as we played and ate I noticed mixed ages entering. The bartender/server Steven went above and beyond! I would say hes one of the best! And we played laser tag twice and was beaten by little children but it was so much fun!
Arcade games are excessively priced. Lowest arcade price $1.. and goes up from there. Clean environment, tons of games. But wont get much for your dollar. If youre coming here, laser tag, mini golf or obstacle course only would be my suggestion. Establishment doesnt have an unlimited option. Arcades are just too much.
Had a blast, the kids had fun, was just a little pricey.
Love it. Unfortunately I forgot my daughter socks so she couldnt rock climb. (I was told she can come bk use that would still be on her play card for next time). She was able to do everything else hosts were great and my daughter loved the prize room. Great atmosphere and kid friendly.
Having been coming every year for a few years. Always fun and good for families. We get a good amount of tickets even when its only the 3 of us. I got my 4th led sign, thanks for having those.
I liked it but some of the kids games make you run through your money for 2 seconds.... Thats not cool especially when its a childs game, otherwise its a nice place, has a lot to do for kids
Such a fun place to let kids if all ages run free. I took my 2 and 4 year old. They both had the time of their lives. The prices to play are a little high. 10 per kid to jump in the bounce area. Plus you pay for games and any other area you want to go in. Their prizes are an absolute joke! I cant even say they were from the dollar store. 30 points for a little super small plastic jumping frog is ridiculous. For parents there are some concerns, but my kids had no worries. Follow me on IG for more suggestions on what to do with kids in Tampa! @GREATLIFEISAMUST
We had a blast here! The staff was very friendly, the bathrooms were extremely clean, and the management went above and beyond! The general manager Annette took great care of our party and made us want to come back for sure. I will definitely recommend PKs to all my friends. I cant wait to go back!
Great service. Food is ok. But the games are worth it. I love coming here! I definitely recommend here for a birthday party or just a friends night out
Very nice place to go and wear the kids out for a couple hours.
I would have given 3 stars however we attended PKS for my daughters birthday! My issue was I felt they were under staffed and assumed I had been there before! The bowling area was a disaster only one of several lanes worked. I saw so many customers but barely any staff. The poor girl at the rock wall was watching 4 areas at one time. I felt rushed for the party as my hostess had to go out and do other things. It would have been nice to have the full attention of my hostess. My daughter had fun thats what matters but I wouldnt book a party there again. Party packages are way over priced and the cups get reused from party to party. They are washed and used again!
Super fun place to take your kids and hang out!!!! Steve the bartender also makes a mean cocktail!!!!!
TOO MUCH FUN!! Putt putt, bowling, darts, games, pool AND beer! Went back 3 days in a row!! Will go again. Lots of fun for the money!
