This is a great spot to visit for families and/or couples. Several restaurant options, activities and sidewalks. They offer valet parking as well if you dont want to hunt for parking. There is also a water park with a pavilion if you want to get the kids out for the day and let them run and play. If you want to be on the water, they have the water taxis, floating bars, paddle boat rentals and more. Another one of my fave spots!

It is really a very nice place to be, with the presence of wild animals, lots of trees and the beauty of the river integrated into the citys routine. You will find benches available along the way to enjoy the view and feel the breeze that embraces you. If you want to eat or drink, you will also find good options centralized next to the square.

Great little park. Nice little field good area for concerts and all sorts of other gatherings. Washrooms and facilities are pretty clean. Water park is nice and so is the dog park. this park has a little bit of everything! And youre right by the river with some nice benches and a good amount of shade.

Was so much fun. We had my granddaughters bday party here. Everyone had fun. Great for all ages. Was very clean.

Love this place. My kids and I always had fun everytime we come here. Theres a designated place for kids and adults. It has splash pad and play area. For adults also, has high end restaurants and bars. Its overlooking by the river. You can walk, bike, jog, skateboard. Its such a nice relaxing place. This place has everything.

This is a very family friendly place for the day and also excellent to bring the special someone to get to know better... Evening seems best with the lights...it is not to busy but definitely popular... restrooms are a no it scarce hut there are some...bring a camera to get allot of good photo opportunity to shoot... Enjoy your outing...

Beautiful. But When you walk in look too the right where you can buy drinks. Myself and friends was treated awful. They said you can only purchase you couldnt sit and drink. But every white customer was able to sit. So I went back and ask so you can order but cant sit and drink ? The man said correct I said what are they doing oh oh Im getting ready to make them move. I said youre a dam lie. I may be black my momma didnt raise know dam fool.

A great water front spot to walk the dog, grab a bite or just enjoy the boats cruising by.

It has a wonderful view of the river and is connected with Riverwalk for a great walk by Hillsborough River. The waterpark itself is great for kids with a splash bucket and is open for free. The the park and its amenities (such as restrooms) are clean and well maintained.

Enough said. Great place to spend the day.

The best part of my day is when I go for a run down riverwalk and begin at water works park. The park is clean and well lit up at night. They also have a dog park. This park hosts many events and I plan to make room on my schedule to attend.

I love this park. The one I have back home has nothing on this. It is super clean and nothing is broken. There is no trash on the floor. The kids had a blast and so did the adults. Great place for the kids and family

I love that area with stage and park area. Just the right size for a good time. With the river next to it and the water taxi, its a wonderful addition to the city. Just a walk down the side walk is a restaurant with nice night lighting for a great evening.

It’s a great place to bring your family! It’s right off RiverWalk, do you can easily go to lunch, and then cool off at Water Works Park. It’s also right next to a dog park, so you can bring your dog as well, if you are able to balance your children and you your fur babies.

Great place to go that allows kids and parents to spend quality time together. Great summer fun. A few tables to sit at, there is also a dry play area as well.

Went in the evening time to sit around and have a beer. Amazing view and good beer.

Great fun for the entire family. Nice and clean and well kept. Only wish they had on site food vendors or even vending machines, also better parking arrangements. But dont let that stop you from visiting and having some good old fashioned family fun!!!

As always the park is beautiful but the parking is so difficult.

I love enjoying God creation looking at the river, seeing the beautiful trees and feeling the way of sunshine, the cool breeze that comes through when you least expect it Im so grateful

Nice fun place to visit. When we go the staff kindly asked if we need weather insurance. We bought the insurance and it rained and they have to close it. We were able to come the other day.

I love taking my kids here a lot. However there is a smell of human waste in the air. Its not at the park itself.

We come here periodically when we go to Armature Works. Its a good place friendly clean seems safe? Very friendly animals and peopleall around. Theres a great view of the water and theyre finally putting in some boat docks for private docking. Theres a small Amphitheater in the back. Access to lots of great restaurants Many great places to sit down relax. Enjoy nature and meditate

This place is fantastic & free! Even the parking is free with a 4 hour limit. There is large enclosed play area for children with water activities. There is a family friendly bar & grille on the property called: U Le Les. Its located at river walk & is a great way to spend a Saturday & or Sunday entertaining the kids & adults. Great for kids birthday parties too!

Nice water park my children enjoyed it and is free for i hot sunny day to just cool down there alligater lake and a river you can walk and look restaurant close by alot to do will be back. Parking was easy and convenient.

Went to this park a few times, clean & fun for the kids. They have cool things to climb on & water spouts that squirt out of things w/ a huge bucket above that fills up w/ water & eventually tips over! There are bathrooms but we didn’t use them. I’m sure they are typical park restrooms. Also, there are awesome restaurants within walking distance, many to choose from. My youngest loves it here but sadly had my first bad experience at the water park.There were 2 teens telling a little girl, approx age 6 to throw a bucket of water at us 3 moms who were sitting together talking & watching our girls! Most of the water hit the other 2 moms I was with & when I saw the 2 teens laughing & whispering to the little girl again & she started walking towards us with another bucket of water, I stood up & said “please don’t throw that water at us again, it’s not right”. The little girl stopped & a lady walked over, asked if there was a problem, told her what happened & asked her if she knew the other 2 teens & she said no but the little girl was her granddaughter. She scolded her granddaughter & told her they were leaving b/c of what she did. The girl began to cry which made us moms feel a little bad b/c the 2 older teens put her up to it. One of the moms calmly went up to the teens & told them that it wasn’t fair to make a child do things like that & now she has to leave the park & she crying. The 2 teens went & told, I believe there mom & she comes walking over with a toddler but kept her distance & yelled out “hey, you white b*tches”! Game over, we headed out. Went back a few months later & thankfully no bad experience. Sadly, there will always be those ignorant individuals who you’ll encounter but just walk away, don’t confront them. You don’t know what you’re dealing with,

Excellent addition to this already fabulous area! This is a great place to take a walk or bring the family. You absolutely need to check this out! Lots of great restaurants nearby and theres plenty of parking you might have to walk a couple of blocks but well worth it

Passed through this park on a long walk back to our hotel. It is a calm and beautiful park next to the Riverwalk. My friend found a public restroom and I sat down in the shadow and relaxed for a bit. Recommend to take a walk a long the Riverwalk and visit this park.

I really like the park and the play area, the splash pad and the other things around it... but parking is horrible, theres barely any shade and its gets pretty overcrowded.Not for the people that dont like crowds

I love this public splash park near the Riverwalk in Downtown Tampa. It’s a great choice for fun with littles on a hot day! The only change Is recommend s this round-a-bout contraption that seems very dangerous and many tots have many falls and bumps and bruises. It’s just a matter of time before an ankle or other bone is broken.

This park is a nice part of the re-vitalisation of the Tampa riverfront. Cool little Manatee pond (none present during my visit), fountains, lawns and benches. The nearby eateries and entertainment make this a nice little stop on your Tampa tour.

Its such a nice park! Im so happy they have built it near Armature Works and the Riverwalk. Its such a great spot to go out for a walk, or hang out with family. AND! If you have a good eye and keen sense of smell you just might find a few beautiful herbs growing around the park.

The Water Works Park has been beautifully restored and is a great place to unwind and take in the views and surroundings that Tampa has to offer. Lots of open space provides plenty of room for picnics, Frisbee or whatever you like to do to take the daily struggles of life off your mind.

BEAUTIFUL park! Cute dog park, a separate park for kids with water fountains to play in and places to rent bikes and ride around.

This place was awesome to spend a couple hours. Children loved it. Clean and good facilities. Plus close to good restaraunts and bars in walking distance.

It was clean. Their was no animals or trash. No one was smoking cigarettes or drinking. Over all my babies and I had a lovely time

Its a great park. Its all gated, so it feels safe. I wish there was more shade and maybe a skin safe ground cover. It gets hot on little feet.

It seemed pretty basic at first, until I realized it was truly meant just for children. An all inclusive Splash Pad of sorts. Its not big, but its just right for the amount of children who are always there. And off to the side is a jungle gym play area, where you can essentially cool off and relax. The scenery is what sold it for me though. Seeing everyone together, children from all backgrounds playing....really brought peace of mind knowing I picked a good place to spend an afternoon. I am definitely spending many more here as well.

This is a great place to take the kids to cool off. Its a mini waterpark with fun water features and a playground for the prissy kids, like my neice, who wanna stay dry! They can wear a bathing suit or just jump in with their clothes on. The best part is that its COMPLETELY FREE. its located near downtown and is in walking distance (literally right next to) Ulele & Armature Works, in case mok, dad or the cool aunt need adult beverages.

Great park to bring the family. They have a nice farmers market every Sunday. You can bring your dog.

This is a nice park along the riverfront/riverwalk area. The true water park is very fun for kids. We also saw a movie at night there and that was fun also. If you check what they have going on you may find fun events you want to go to

Fun and safe for kids. Beautiful scenery by the river. If u like people watching this is the place to go. Sometimes they have events in the court yard. Great family place and get away from the stresses of life.

This park is great. The restrooms are clean and there is a lot of shade. Theres a water area and a park and there is so much near by. Highly recommended. Only issues is finding free close parking. I think theres another parking lot being built close by.

The music was great the food was good. The venue was very pleasant and relaxing. The event was well organized.

Fun splash pad and playground all in one fenced area with restrooms. Beautiful to walk along the river, nice looking dog park nearby. Be careful if you have young ones and walk by the river, there is no fence!

Attended the Jazz Festival today and had a great time. Rush productions put it together and did not disappoint. I will attend next year.

What a nice new park for downtown Tampa. Its right on the Riverwalk, has a water park, band shell, and is a stop for the Tampa Water Taxi. It is adjacent to the highly regarded but very loud Ulele restaurant.

Loved the area, so glad we got lost and found this place!
