If your kid is afraid of going upside down, Scorpion is the perfect ride to get them started. The ride has only one loop, and its right after the first drop. There are no large drops. However, Scorpion is a forceful ride with forces similar to those on Kumba and Montu. It is also an older ride, so if you dont hang on tightly you will get jostled around. In my opinion, Scorpion is a great ride for anyone to enjoy and might spark a love for coasters in your kid in the same way it did for me, and I find this ride hard to skip due to my nostalgia.

Ahhhh Scorpion... the old Schwarzkopf... This ride should honestly never be removed as it truly is historic. While it is just a classic looping coaster, there are only 3-4 left in operation in the world, with this being one of them. I am truly glad that Busch finally decided to show scorpion the love it deserves and give it a paint job! it looks 100000 times better! Feel the sting of Scorpion!

Dont listen to those other bad reviews! This is a great roller coaster for many reasons. First off, it is a great beginner roller coaster. Although it is smaller, it is still surprisingly fast and has a high drop and solid loop. Other coasters there will send your kids crying home. This one is a good beginner but still really intense. Down sides are the line moves slow and its one of the few coasters the kids can ride so dont be surprised if there are kids doing their annoying kid noises. 7/10 compared to the 10/10 other coasters they have there but it is mega fast so it might send your kids home crying too.

5* for pure nostalgia. Far surpassed in pure thrill by newer coasters, but it is still a ton of fun, and I always ride it before anything else here.

This was a cool little family coaster with a single loop and some turns in it. I liked it.

Classic steel rollercoaster. Short and sweet.

Hurts your neck a little and has an abrupt stop in the end. It is preeeeeeetty good. But just remember, it is 38 years old as of 11/2/18.

This was my very first ever roller coaster with a loop, but back then it was smooth. It is known for breaking down and it is very rigging. For some reason there is always a very long line. It is a very short and quick ride. I would not advise it for persons with neck or back problems.

Take it down. Put the Bird show back on, and the Dolphin show, you need both . it will not hurt to hit the like button.

Only had one car running and the line took 45 minutes just to ride this. It is a great small roller coaster, but it was not worth the wait for us. Make sure to count how many cars are running before you decide to wait in line.

Too long of a wait and hurt my stumough for a week

Do you ever pull some strong positive Gs on this ride. Itll throw you around pretty good, but it isnt overly painful due to the lap bar restraints. Worth a ride.

When I went on this ride I went with my little sister and we had to wait a 30 mins line for this coaster, when we went the entering system was very confusing. When we started going it was bumpy and when we did the loop my neck was forced down cracking my back and leaving me with back pain for the weak and completely ruining my experience at the park. I’m glad it’s a old ride and is the next one to go.

Older coaster kinda jerky but OMG.... What a ride!

I love Scorpion, its the best coaster to go on for a first go at it, before you try the bigger ones (if you have never been on one). Im glad its still open.

Solid ride! That one vertical loop can help people who arent fond of coasters that much get into rollercoasters! Otherwise, very short, but very fun. This and sooperdooperlooper are my 2 favorite coaster by Schwarchkophf! (Yes, I spelled that wrong, but admit it, you cant spell it right either, lol.)
