Went to Twisted Turtle. Had good time.

This is a really neat little theater and they had a full bar and a wonderful menu. The Ambiance was really cool the seating was amazing & comfortable. I went here for a Legalize It (marijuana) event and drove almost 2 hours North from Venice. The crowd was great and the hosts of the theater were wonderful.

Overall, its a very nice little spot. It has reclinable seats and food will be delivered to you. The main lobby has a bar and lounge area, so it is geared mostly towards adults. There was some food laying on the floor on one of the hallways. The place needs some paint and to be kept more clean, but my wife and I still enjoyed the evening watching Sonic. It was surprisingly a great movie BTW

The theater is good, nice seat(reclining), and had food options, not exactly SMG, but you can order your food and get that before the movie starts.

Very Clean. Nice leather reclining seats with attached trays. Great screen. Awesome ambiance, with cool wall structures making it feel like an outdoor neighborhood movie viewing. Staff was very attentative and polite. Full bar that is beautiful, and real food menu. All this at a low price.

Trash theater, dont waste your time or money.

This is a great theater for the price. Not the largest of screens, but for the seats, price, and food options its a 10.We ordered dinner to be delivered and it was a lot of food at a good price. It was also very good. First theater Ive been in that does drink refills for free.

Second time there it was good but you pay too much for the movies because they bring you food and drinks while youre in the theater sitting down.

I saw Star Wars there opening night around 10ish. In the middle of the movie, the screen went purple and played that way for a while. They turned off the movie and tried to reset it, we all took an intermission. At this time I went to the bathroom which is a small 2 stall bathroom that had no toilet paper or paper towels. I went back to my seat and after a few more minutes they began the film again. It was still purple so they moved us to another theater. We had to try and all find our seats again. The new theater was quite warm. After the film was over I went to the other bathroom over by the second theater we were moved to, and it also had no toilet paper or paper towels. The place was overall not in fantastic shape, bad cleanliness, and the staff seemed to wish the whole place would burn down. I did not complain or try to get my money back. As I was still able to see the film in it’s entirety. There was however a very cute cat in the parking lot that was friendly.

Just saw Star Wars there. Seats were comfortable. The theater was short-staffed, so we ordered food at the bar. The menus online (both on Google and on their website) are not correct--this is not an Italian restaurant. No salads or anything other than bar food. Food was mediocre. Popcorn was extremely salty, to the point we couldnt eat it, which was very disappointing.

I love this theatre. Its quaint, serves the drinks you need and a nice food menu. The chairs are super comfortable!

Been going here for about 6 years now and I never want to go to a regular movie theater again. This place has the best food, best people, and best drinks. They dont always get the movies that just released right away, but it sure as hell is worth the wait. Suck a great experience everytime.

This is such a fun place to come to. The food is actually pretty good for a movie theater. I like the Cuban sandwich. Its about 45 min from my house but worth the drive.

I like to enjoy a good family movie and this place is spectacular. The menu needs a little more offers and more variety. Sometimes orders take more than 30 minutes. I like to visit Vellagio with my family because it is in a very good area and very safe. In that place where the cinema is there is a good variety of restaurants, cafes and bars where you can share in a quiet environment. The premieres offered by the cinema are the best and have a variety for children. It is not an expensive place, because it combines the film with gastronomy, it has an included bar and many more options. The cinema is small and that makes it quieter and cleaner. My criterion is that they should improve more in the gastronomy service; increase the menu a little more trying to offer more attractive varieties and not just fast food. The cocktails dont have enough alcohol that they should and sometimes the beer doesnt taste good. Otherwise, it is a very nice place, the work team is very efficient and professional. It is very interesting that his group of employees is very young and yet they treat you with courtesy and kindness. The place where the cinema Carrollwood is located is a super nice and safe area. I hope to continue visiting this place with my family for a long time. thank you very much

Just recently went today for Birds of Prey, GREAT MOVIE. Everything was super nice and I loved the atmosphere the only thing that was a headache was it was super dark and we couldnt see our row to where we were supposed to sit.

Comfortable, with food and full bar. We only stayed for a special screening of a short film, Fireworks. My sister-in-law, Kendra stars.

Multiple theaters on right side of building stopped playing the movie right after opening credits. We sat for 30 minutes before the movie came back on in the middle of the movie (not restarting from beginning). management never came to update us. We only knew about technical difficulties because we left theater to ask someone at the bar. When we asked if they could stop playing the middle of the movie as we didn’t want to ruin it, the servers all looked confused. Horrible customer service. I would expect management to address the theater full of customers or maybe offer a free drink refill or something.

I like to write good reviews for places that I like to go. All I can say is, nothing is what it used to be. Heres a theatre that has the potential to be a goldmine, with no excuse but to get rave reviews from happy patrons. Unfortunately, there must be both management and owners who would rather let the place slowly die. Went to a movie tonight. Zero service. Had to flag the attention of the two employees standing at the entrance who were much more interested in their phones than acknowledging customers were standing in front of them. Theatre was freezing. No waitress service at all. Only reason we stayed was to see the end of the movie. Really very sad. Cant say Ill be back.

We generally have a great experience when visiting Villagio. Its our go-to movie theater in Tampa! The staff is always friendly and the reclining seats are comfortable. The food is also quite delicious and the portion size for the price is well worth it.We did have one experience on the opening night of Avengers: Endgame where the servers were a little distracting at the beginning of the movie-- a couple tablets (that Im assuming are used to take orders) got shined in our face as servers walked by. It was totally unintentional, but definitely distracting and made it hard to see. This is not the normal experience, however. Every business has those kind of busy days. The servers usually do an excellent job keeping distractions to a minimum, which is why I love going back.Highly recommended for the friendly service, good food, and comfortable seating!

This is a very nice theater, sound and display is excellent. They are very creative inside, nice design art work. Really really nice. A couple of things I didn’t like is that 1. It’s really cold so bring a jacket and a blanket and 2. I don’t know if it was just the room we were in but it had an odor inside. But other than those, it’s pretty nice.

The staff inside the theatre was great. The bartenders outside, not so much. The place was a little dirty and seemed unorganized, even though it seemed slow for a Friday night. I would suggest eating before you go and bring a snack. The seats are awesome....

The first thing that you notice as soon as you step inside this theatre complex is a bizzare smell! Theres no labels for seat row/seat numbers due to which we had to do the guessing game and find seats. People come in even after 15 minutes of show time and then start searching for seats with mobile flashlight on as there are no labels and eventually in the confusion the whole experience of the movie is at toss. After 45 minutes, it was the in theatre food service folks who came in enquiring from seat to seat to find out who has placed the order! With all the potential confusion first half of the movie is totally screwed up!Will I ever visit the place? Do I have a choice of brilliant non English movies are released only in this cinemas in Tampa/Brandon?

The food is WAY OVER PRICED!!!... On a Saturday night (8 oclock) movie they could no longer cook any burgers because they were already closing there kitchen down to get ready for there night club they have after the last movie. They also could no longer make icees because they had already made them alcoholic. (I thought they wanted us to buy there food) IF next time we will just eat first and have a soda or something. Everyone enjoyed the recliner seats.

This place is a good theater to go to. They offer snacks, lunch, and dinner. The food is a little over priced just a litte bit...overall great place to watch movies.

We happened on this place by accident. We were looking to watch a certain movie which the seats were all filled it all the other theaters. So when we looked for other theaters that had our movie. We found this place, its tucked away in a little plaza and it is a little Jewel. The staff was amazing. Its a very comfortable setting to walk into and the food is really great and the portions are big. And they have reclining chairs in all the theaters. So all in all, my family and I had a great experience with food, drink and a comfortable seat to watch a really great movie. This is going to be our new movie spot! Check out the $5 Tuesday movies!

First and last time 7:00 Movie went to go see Bad Boys. No one was at the counter to greet me and my family, we actually had to wait 15 minutes before someone came to help us, no hello just how many? Movie stop playing twice and none of the staff came to inform the customers of the issue. We actually had to get out of our seats to go find out. The only person that had phenomenal service was the gentleman that worked behind the bar. Customer service is horrible

Should tell that I used to like this place for choice of food and reclining seats. But unfortunately everything doesn’t look as good as it used to be. First of all, seats weren’t clean. There was popcorn on my seat that I had to clean myself. Second is our order. I was waiting for my drink after the food already came. In 15minutes we asked for drink, they said that will bring it and it’s was already the middle of the movie, I still didn’t get my drink. We asked for the second time, and again no drinks. My husband had to leave the movie to bring my drink himself. Food was already cold, and he had to miss movie. Was expecting better service for such place. Not coming back

I enjoy coming to Villagio Cinema with my family. The theaters are clean and very comfortable. Food is good too

Bit run down, but the bartenders customer service kept it from a 2 star. Oh and the reclining seats. Food runner customer Service was poor.

Great movie theater! Was taken here by a dude I was talking to and I still go to this day! Nice lounge areas, food is great. Only complaint is that the bar tenders tend to be lacking in the customer service department.

The Bartender on Monday is amazing. She is very personable & will ask you exactly how you like your drinks instead of just the basic bs. Also the server with long black hair was great! She got our order to us & even made up for the food runners mistake. It must be pretty hard to take order in a dark loud movie theater, but she was like a pro. Will be back. Her service was just as good as the movie!

Went here to watch Endgame. Good food, good prices, and a great staff. Even when they were at peak business they were still willing to help anyone who needed help. They always have people to spare for any situation. Go. To. This. Theatre!

Amazing place to host events, catch a movie and EAT!

This theatre is alright. The screen had a mark right into the middle that showed up on characters faces. The chairs are comfortable but our last visit, soda or juice, something, was all over the backs and sides of seats. Also, you can hear the neighboring movies through the walls. It definitely took away from the more quiet scenes during the movie I was seeing. This theatre is usually a last resort, but tolerable.

This used to be a good movie place to go to but lately it’s been lacking customer service, place looks less clean, and place looks more run down. You get good and bad days with this place. Today was pretty bad. No waitress service on Tuesday night so my husband had to order our food at the bar. Apparently there was only one server for the day to serve everyone. The theater seemed dirty as it clearly showed that there was popcorn and trash on the seating and tables. Very disappointing.

The Theater has a spacious seating recliners and good sound system. But its not clean. Have one toilet for 3 or 4 theaters. They need to have better maintenance.

The seats were so comfortable, it was like the movie was in my house. The bucket of popcorn with extra butter was giagantic.The Cinema on Dale Mabry even has polite janitors and greeters for movie goers.This one waitress had at least 10 customers that were provided excellent service. I saw it for myself.

It’s so hard to find locally owned movie theaters that do special events like Rocky Horror. I’m so glad I found this place-it’s my new go to Saturday night hangout! I went to go see Rocky Horror (By a cast called Hell on Heels) for a cookout event they did. I had a ton of fun. Highly entertaining and welcoming cast! Comfortable theatre seating, bathrooms weren’t the best, but small price to pay for a fun night out! I’ll definitely be back!

Ive been to this theater many times and it seems to be going down hill fast. This past visit the seats were absolutely filthy and the staff did not seem interested in cleaning anything.

So this is my first time here in about 2 in a half years and it just wasnt the best ... The chairs are completely different they used to be very spacious black leather like chairs. The food menu seems to have changed too. The appetizers and even the childrens menu is too expensive for what its worth . Was disappointed by that. And my food was only ok.Also I found it weird that it was a complete ghost town. We went today on a Friday evening and Hardly Anyone was there, I just found that odd.

I love the reclining chairs and the service. The food is actually pretty good too. On Tuesdays, movie tickets are $5! Overall I love coming here more than any other movie theater. I also feel that it can be less crowded than other theratres so that helps as well.

Great theater. Offers alcoholic beverages (for the adults). I enjoyed watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show at this venue.

We sat in like a small private the screen was smaller than my home tv. The food was pricey and cold the potato skins made me sick! The service was horrible. I will stick with Cinebistro in Hyde Park.

Went to see Rocky Horror last night and it was fantastic! They performed the movie in front of the screen. The cast has amazing energy, and my friend and I had a great time. We’ll definitely be back. Can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday!

I used to visit here before every theatre had reclining seats and it was a great place. They must have had a change in management because the quality has degraded. This past experience may be my last here. The movie itself had technical difficulties more than once. The video flashed and then just stopped running. After a few minutes & realizing there was no employee attending to the matter, I went out and let a staff member know. She said she would tell the manager. It was back up after a few minutes. It happened a second time, where the video flashed and audio went out of sync. Manager was informed again. No official apology or anything. Just a black screen for 10 min while they addressed the issue. Ill stick to AMCs Dolby Theater. Better quality equipment, anyway.

The best recliner seats to watch the movies. Ive visited other theatres with recliner seats but the one here is the best. It is the biggest and most comfortable.

Villagio is my all time favorite place to go for movies. They have awesome selection of food and drink. The atmosphere feels welcoming and staff is always helpful. The bar is fully stocked and the bartenders know their stuff. Pricing is fair. Worth the trip if you are local and haven’t tried them out yet. Most comfortable seats in a theatre I’ve ever sat on.

Not upscale but very comfortable and the staff is efficient and pleasant.

Im new to Tampa and Im so happy I found this theater. I had a great movie experience, the chairs were comfy and the movie was great. The food burger I ordered from the bar was amazing, and prices are fair. I highly recommend this place, awesome bartenders(even though I dont drink), awesome food, and great staff. You will not be disappointed!

We went here for an annual gathering and got catering along with the bar tending. Good spot for socializing or catching up on a new movie.

Favorite movie theater. Love the reclining seats with foot rest. You can order some food which is decently priced. Serves alcohol and you can buy your tickets ahead of time to make sure you have the best seats in the place..

We had a great date night there the bartender was super friendly and the food was delicious and filling. I ordered the special of the day a chicken parmigiana and my husband got the bacon burger. The seats in the theater was comfy if you are a taller person I am super short so I had a hard time reaching the floor to put my plate down. My only complaint it my husband was unable to recline his chair due to a table being right in front of him.

Food was terrible I been a couple of times before and it’s always a problem however me and my husband love the bartender melody she made our expiernce worth it everytime

Love going here. Seats are super comfortable and all recline. Not much more expensive than a regular theater. Food is what you would expect from a movie theater. Good but not great. Full bar and will deliver drinks to your seat.

Nice little hidden gem of a theater. You can have food and drink brought to you in your seat. Service is good. Chairs recline and are comfortable. Food was great and we enjoy the heck out of our movie.

Great small theatre. The prices are good (especially on Tuesdays) and they will serve their food (which includes good stuff like pizza, burgers, and beer) directly to you from your seat (which are all recliners). I have been here a number of times and am glad it is near my home.

This theater has progressively been getting worse month after month for the past year. The place is just plain dirty, from the lobby floors to the theater floors to the bathrooms its just gross. They try to entice you to purchase food items by putting a large tray of items that were cooked hours or days ago by the front door - absolutely nasty looking. Every single light in the theater had dozens of dead bugs in them right above your head! We arrived for our movie 20 minutes before showtime and they wouldnt let us in the theater as they had not cleaned it from the last movie. A crowd of 10-15 people stood in the hall in front of the bathrooms for almost 20 minutes waiting for them to let us in. You were lucky to have a seat number on 1 or 2 seats in an entire row - many people were totally confused as to where their seats were. After the trailers ended and the movie started they didnt turn the lights off for almost 5 minutes! No dimming the lights when the trailers started, then no dimming to dark when the movie started... it was an abrupt OFF surprising everyone. Heres the best part, when the movie ended they never turned the lights on! with the credits running the theater was pitch black, many people sat and waited but the lights never came on so almost everyone had to use the flashlights on their phones to see their way out. STAY AWAY

Relax, recline, order food and watch a first run movie! We love this place and wish more open around the area! The only negative is when they have a late night party you can hear it inside the theater when the doors open and shut. It has happened to us twice. Get there early to order your food so you don’t miss out and don’t think you can ask the waitress for something-because they drop and dash!

It was great fun, and very welcoming for the kids. The recliners are so comfortable. The menu was simple, and the food was good. 4 stars instead of 5 because it was quite warm in the theater and my husbands 2nd beer wasnt the right one. We had prepaid for everything, and no one around to switch it out for us. Not a big deal and totally worth it. It was a lovely experience for our family!

Been a few times, pretty decent most times however tonight, got to the movie early to eat dinner prior to the start, was one of the first guests in the theatre and by the time the movie started and everyone else who had ordered food, at least 15 other guests were served, my food was still not out. After waiting 40 minutes I just went to the bar and asked him to cancel it. He did and refunded the charge for the burger with no issue. Well probably give it another chance.

Great Birthday Party Venue for my 7 year old. The staff was polite and made sure everything went smoothly. Would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxed, fun time, without the chaos!

Wonderful seating great service everyone was very friendly very good place to see a movie and have something good to eat! Easy to park as well. Will return again soon!

My family really likes this place and we sincerely hope they can stay open. It often seems that they are barely hanging on. Stay strong Villagio.

Small and stellar place. Cozy theater with excellent reclining seats, clean restrooms, and friendly service. Theres a bar and a lounge area, and though its a quarter of the size of most other theaters, the layout flows well enough that you arent knocking elbows with everyone else. The screens are a smidge smaller than at other places, but not enough to bother most people, and for me personally their garlic parmesan fries makes up for it. Nifty neighborhood spot, well keep going there to support it.

Great movie experience, good food and nice seats.

This place is ok. But not worth the money you pay. Front entrance looks horrible and the receptionist looks like shes been drinking and hates her job. The sofas in the front are all torn and looks like youll catch a disease from them. The theater I was placed in has holes on the screen. The waiter that took my order never even put it in. I had to leave my movie to find out what happened. I still tipped him but he didnt deserve it. I will not return and I dont recommend this place.

Had a really great time. Staff was so awesome. They were helpful and patient with me and my friends with issues we were having with our moviepass. Food was delicious fries hit and fresh, Onion soup Burger made as ordered. Perfect time with friends!!!

We hadnt been here in a while and I must say, the place seems to be falling into disrepair. We were in theater 1 and there were several missing ceiling tiles and insulation hanging down out of the ceiling. There were bare spaces where the sound deadening tiles on the wall had fallen off and were never replaced. None of the employees who served us were in any sort of uniform, no name tags, nothing to identify them as employees. Just some random person walking up and handing you a drink. For nearly $100 for two tickets and food, this was a negative experience.

Tuesday 5$ movies. Small theater but offered everything the bigger ones offer. With leather seats. Food is good too.

Beautiful place. Beautiful concept. Great experience except for a moment or two of negligence concerning the actual movie.They sent us in, but forgot to turn on the ambient lights...so we were in pitch black darkness..... then they started the film, but forgot to make sure the volume was up. We went about 10 mins with no volume. My husband had to go out to the lobby to get someone to address it.

Hit or miss. Have had a few good experiences and a few terrible ones. Emailed them and never heard back.EDIT: Spoke with owner/manager who was super nice and understanding. He explained some policies that I wasnt aware of and the next time I went back I had a much better experience.Overall, the chairs are comfy, the food is decent and the fact that you can pre-order a drink to be delivered mid-movie totally rocks.
