I was so happy to get a chance to get back to the movies!! Before COVID was an avid moviegoer and was devastated when I learned I couldnt go anymore. Brought my 12 yr old daughter to see War with Grandpa and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.This theater is always clean and well kept. We always have a good time when we go. The manager Amber is fantastic and always there to lend hand if needed! Saw the most recent Star Wars movie there pre COVID and LOVED my experience that day!Cant wait to get return to Westshore and watch something else!

Staff good but seats are old and dirty. My cherry coke tasted off. Popcorn was tiny pieces halfway through. Only going here until Cobb opens back up!

This is my favorite place to go to with my daughter. We have Mommy daughter date nights and we end our day at the movie theater because well we love movies and popcorn! This place is great and quiet! The people who work here are super friendly and kind!

The movie I Still Believe was fantastic and was very well made. The characters played their parts very well. A tender love story with a spiritual and heart moving message. Should be shown in every theatre and church in the world. The selflessness character role of Melissa was a lesson for every believer. The love and faithful dedication Jeremy showed was an example for every man on how to treat a woman they care about. Everyone in the world should go see this movie. The only negative issue with our night was that the bucket of popcorn we purchased was the last order before they had to pop some more. It was not very good at all, disappointing. Employees were friendly and professional and the theatre was clean. We rate it at 4 stars.

I applied for a job and I tried calling back for a phone interview and they never picked up i hope they didn’t hire anyone before me.

Theater is out of date and dirty. Many of the seats have stains, and left over food from the years. Sanitizer is needed.

Staff is friendly and always accommodating. My fiancé and I have been going here for years and its always been great.

Comfortable, Clean, and Pricey! This is a really nice movie theater that is kept pretty clean - for a movie theater. The pretzel is truly huge!! The only real issue, and this is with most movie theaters - is it costs a lot! For 4 of us to see a mid-afternoon movie, with snacks, and even my AMC Stubs discounts, it was around $100.

Of all the AMC theaters I have seen in my area of Tampa this is the best looking. It seems a lot newer. Highly impressed.

Beautiful on the outside, not so much the inside, overall good experience. Seating definitely needs upgrade! Couldve gotten 5 * but not with these disgusting seats. Staff is friendly!

I signed up for AMC Stubs, its really a great deal. You get to see movies for less and its free. I just saw the movie, Harriet, phenomenal!! Im not a big fan of assigned seating. I kind of like the old way better.

The theater is very large, modern and features stadium seating. Ticket purchases and seat selection may be completed online prior to showtime. Follow signs in the garage to park near the main entrance. Service at the concession stand was efficient and fast to prevent patrons from missing coming attractions or start of main features.

Its a lot like any other AMC theater. This one is a bit nicer and cleaner than the ones Im used to. The really nice thing is theres plenty of parking. If you park on the very top level of the mall parking garage you get direct access right into the theater without having to walk through the mall. There is a PF changs and a besitos Mexican restaurant downstairs if youre in the mood for dinner as well.

Not bad, parking can be a bit of a challenge, but otherwise good.

Love that they finally added Dolby to this location so now that there is one in South Tampa. The theater is not the cleanest though and could use an update. In most auditoriums I go into, I find a bunch of trash on the ground almost like it wasnt even cleaned. The seats are old and not up to date and could use a refresh.

I was at the AMC asking for assistance regarding a upcoming movie issue. Next thing I know is Im waking up in the middle stall floor of the bathroom, side bandage up and missing a kidney. I will say AMC West Shore 14 has the cleanest public Bathrooms Ive ever seen!

This movie theater is ok overall. I believe they have about 17 rooms total and last time I went, the a/c was out in all but two of them. Access to the theater is dependant on the mall being open or by using the multilevel parking garage (which will be an issue if you have a lifted truck due to low height). The escalator was also out of order and the only way to get to the theater from inside the mall was a very small elevator. If these issues are not a problem for you, you can expect what you would from other AMC theaters.

Convenient theater. Prices are up their with all others even though they dont offer more modern seating. They should upgrade the seats. Great theater to watch a movie though.

This is such a nice theater. Its nice that it is right in the mall. They have very comfortable seats, good snacks and drinks!

It is a nice theater. I have been to a lot of movies there. Always try to find the parking that takes you right to the theater. There are almost 15-20 screens. The escalator is broken right now, but the elevators available to get to the theater.

Great customer service. Every employee I have encountered was very pleasant. Accommodating, knowledgeable and know their movies. I like going to the Westshore better than the Veterans. People like the reclining seats I like the employees at Westshore and I like how close to home they are. Plus side they are in a descent mall.

Theater was great. They have the seats that recline into a comfortable position and you can feel the sound in the seat!

Their 11 a.m. matinees are only $5.60. A great time to go to the movies.Nice clean comfortable theaters.

Its a nice theater. The the only bad things are the seat doesnt recline and the urinals dont have dividers between them.

I’ve always been happy with AMC Westshore until recently. We bought our tickets pretty advance online only to get it cancelled. While the cancellation was understandable, the options they have for their members suck! They just automatically refund cancelled tickets which takes 5 business days without giving options like moving the reservation to other days. That’s a very lousy way to treat loyal customers!

Pre-purchased ticket, but had to wait in line to be told I could just walk in. One teller for tickets. One teller for concessions. Except if your A-list or premium member. Cup holder and cups dont match. Seats are firm and dont recline. Movie quality was pretty good, as well as the sound.

Always great place to hit a great restaurant, see a movie and then have drinks after! Love the stadium seats and the cleanliness of the theater!

We go here almost every weekend and up until recently have been very happy with food, service, and cleanliness. It seems to have taken a pretty steep decline in the past couple of months, though.Long, long waits on the bar side and while the food lines go fast (we have the A-LIST so get the shorter line), the place has gotten filthy. The restrooms are consistently dirty with no toilet paper and only about half the sinks working, and the concession area seems to get trashed early and stay that way. And since the escalator has been out of commission for several months as well (not the theatres fault, but just another inconvenience) you have to plan to arrive super early if you plan to get a drink or snack. Hopefully this stuff will be addressed soon because it seems to be a pretty recent development. On a positive note, we have been able to choose our seats lately which is a nice benefit.

It was terrible, I don’t know who manage this movie theater there were a big line to enter with your ticket only one person was checking . Vwry disappointed. Bad management on this movie theater . If you want to go go at least half an hour before movie stars with your ticket already purchase or better for another one

You must try the Dolby IMAX! I will definitely be watching movies in Dolby more after this experience. Seating was comfortable and the seats were Dbox like seats, really enhanced the experience.

Nicely organized...seats are not the comfortable luxury seats but do have adequate room. Loved that went straight into the featured movie and not the 100 previews of coming flicks!

Proud to be an AMC stubs member, benefits are amazing. This is the only movie theater that I go too. Never had any problems here. I give it 10 Stars if I could.

I wouldn’t recommend bothering to try and take advantage of the “free” preview screenings of movies that come through. You may have your ticket in hand, show up early, and still be turned away if they’re at max capacity. They “oversell” the tickets and recommend you show up two hours before the start time if you want to get a seat. Why they don’t have a set number of tickets to give out to not overshoot their capacity is beyond me. Management was also of no use. I get that some people with tickets may not show up for the event, but the overwhelming majority will. I won’t be visiting this theater again.

I wasnt use to using a kious to get movie tickets. The atmosphere and amenities were very nice.

Movie dates are always special...reclining seats would have made this more relaxing!

I really enjoyed the theater so much. It was very convenient with the mall and restaurants. I didnt have to drive from place to place, but the seats were uncomfortable, I has a terrible muscle spasm when I left.

No reserved seating, seats do not recline, seats were dirty, longest lines Ive experienced in a while for both snacks and tickets. This place needs updating.Manager was nice as we ended up asking for a refund for our movie and he did it without question and also offered to give us tickets to another movie as a courtesy. That manager gets an A but the theater gets a D+

This theater is always a good theater to go to. It’s never really full and the people who work here are nice. We usually get the matinee tickets to save a few dollars and I highly recommend eating before you go because food is ridiculously expensive. The theater is relatively clean and had pretty nice seating all around.

This is the least clean and most uncomfortable theater in the area.Our seats and in fact most of the seats were visibly filthy. Theater 9 was a small theater and the size of the seats were from a bygone era. The theater had an old smell and during quiet parts of the movie you could hear dialogue from adjacent theaters.THIS item may not matter to some but the long walkway from concessions to theaters has a multitude of known actors and movie makers images along each wall and another large one at the end. Not ONE person of color in the entire collage. For such a diverse area this is disappointing and frankly, is offensive.I will not return to this theater and possibly not to an AMC in the area at all. There are cleaner, nicer more inclusive venues all over

The theater was dirty and smell really bad, the theater room was not clean at all I can see trash under the seat and the floor was sticky and had some gum, bathroom need to be clean, I used to come to AMC west shore 14 at least ones a week about 7 years ago and it was a great place, really don’t know what happens to this place but I wish the it will good back to it former glory

Reserving seats makes going to the movies unenjoyable. There is no more spontaneity and youre constantly having to ask people to move out of the seats you reserved. Absolutely not a fan of what the movies have become.

Theres a large mark on the projector screen in theater 8. Nothing other than that which is honestly pretty great. AMC holds their locations to a good standard for cleanliness and helpfulness. I love going here, as well as their location on Veterans 24.

I went to the movies the other night to kill a few hours when my daughter was at a concert nearby at Amalie Arena. The staff was very nice. The 2 reasons Im giving not giving 5 stars are 1) seats and 2) popcorn. Popcorn is a staple when seeing a movie. I got the large size. At other sites, refills are standard and layering is standard. It is do-it-yourself butter and I did not enjoy doing on my own. And the seats are older, standard and for the price paid ($12.41) for my adult ticket, I expect the type of seats that recline, like the ones that Im used to in other movie theaters. Honest review. And yes, I would go back now to know what to expect. Location is great and convenient to many things. Upper parking level on garage gives direct access into theater. Prices are decent on food items and combo bundles.

The movie was great Rambo, snacks and the service also great. I was in room #1, to my surprise no reclinable seats. I dont know if the others rooms have it. I always go to the Epic theater close to my house which have reclinable seats.

Horrible theatre. There were signs saying they were having ac problems and said it would be warm but it was nasty sweaty hot. After leaving I could feel a cold setting in my lungs. The theatre should not be open if the ac is not working. The theatre was dirty with stains on the seats and floor. No one has been in there to clean probably all day. It was like checking into a really dirty hotel.we didn’t even stay to finish the movie and got a refund. Will never go here again and never recommend it to anyone that values their health.

I think 3 stars is fair, the ticket prices are average and the concessions are pricey as usual. The seats dont recline and are old and escalator has been out of order for a few months. Overall its an older theatre... I would get tickets of the time of movie works, but I wouldnt seek this theater out specifically if there are others.

Nice place, somthing new i didnt like, such as you have to pick your seats when you buy your tickets. Dont care for that at all..like to sit where i like to sit! Foods getting too expensive. Way too expensive and there arw never any healthy options.All in all 4 Stars

I loved this Mall as soon as I got to the doors. The Lightning pictures and signs were everywhere. The Movie Theater was clean, comfortable, and I felt very safe there. I am so happy that I found this area for shopping and movie watching. This is my new Movie Theater. I go to the movies sometimes twice a week or at least once a week. I live in Fleming Island (Jacksonville) Florida, we come 2 to 3 times a month for Lightning Games. I always go to the movies on those Fridays. I am so happy we found this place.

One of the worst experiences ever in a theater! A friend of mine had free passes with no expiration dates. We were told we couldn’t use them because they discontinued them due to fake ones being used. We were directed to a website and told to wait to get them by mail if they were going to send them. We were ready to see the movie right then. We then asked about the $5 movie deal and were told to sign up for the rewards program which we did not want to do based on this experience. When we asked the manager if she could make an exception she said no. It wasn’t until after I had already ran my card for full price tickets that she said she could do it. At that point all we wanted to do was go see our movie. I was disappointed with the lack of guest service. My friend is diamond status at Regal so we will continue to go there from now on. My advice to management is to do what’s right for your guest in front of you. It makes a big difference when guests have multiple options.

You buy tickets then you run to find the best seats you can since theyre not assigned. So if youre not 45 mins early for your blockbuster movie then youre stuck craning your neck up at the screen from your front row seats. Oh, and the seats themselves are horrible. Maybe because Im comparing them to the ultra luxurious seats at AMC Veterans (this is AMC too though isnt it?) but it makes it tough to enjoy your movie if youre uncomfortable the entire time.

Very rude, refused to help me with a refund on the app and said it was too late when the amc app customer service was very happy to help me get a refund for the mistake. Will not be coming back or brining anyone else here again.

There was a huge line, and we came into our theater which looked like a small auditorium with basic cloth seats that smelled horrible. Can’t recline or even get comfortable, complete waste of money.

I love this movie theater!! Huge screens, good sound, yummy popcorn!! Its connected right to the mall so its super convenient to make a day out of. Everyone is friendly, and you get to ride the escalator to the movies!! P.s. get a nice warm pretzel at a discount with your movie ticket at the bottom of the escalator! Very cool, will be visiting this theater again!!

It was a very nice and clean! I enjoyed going out with a friend and his child. The movie was clear and the audio was perfect. Easy to find where your going. The only thing I could complain about is finding my way up through the parking garage. Talk about confusing. Loved it!! Will be attending again!:D
