An intimate venue that doesnt have a bad seat so many great shows held throughout the year.

Saw a show here and place is overall a nice set up. Seats were comfortable but would have liked to see more options as far as drinks at the mini bar.

Jazz Central decentralizes jazz in the city of Syracuse and Upstate New York. The Central puts together shows at the Cavalier, part of the Syracuse Hotel, a classy Marriott joint. Likewise, the regular Thursday night show at Sugar Magnolia on Clinton shines, thanks to the booking powers on the Central. Little theater societies and small concerts go well in the theater inside this tidy building at the corner of Townsend and Washington, very inexpensive to book.Jazz Central makes hustle look cool, calm and collected.

Great place for shows. The ac can get a bit cold so bring a sweater Just in case.

Small, intimate theater. Saw Drunk with Hope. So impressed with subject matter, presentation and Dorothy Lennon.

This is the home of Rarely Done Productions a small avant guard theater company. The due as the name suggests they put on plays that youre not likely to see anywhere else often on adult only subject matter. The theater seats less than 100 and the stage area is on the floor just in front of a student type riser. Popular with the LGBT community but everyone is always welcomed.

Website didnt work for ticket purchase and no answer on their phone. I arrived five minutes late with my 8 month pregnant wife and the box office attendant was snide and all around rude. He became further agitated that I didnt have cash, because his card reader was printing reports. The service on all fronts was so poor it was practically a joke. Never have I seen a business try so hard to not sell you its product, nor show you such disdain for your support. Shameful.
