I went to the regal cinema on Saturday 7:40 pm and it was my worst experience in a movie theater. Teenagers about 30 disturbed everyone watching the movie by running around and shouting in the cinema that almost everyone left. It was a sad sad situation.

Mall multiplex within Destiny USA where you can see all of the current blockbusters, often in IMAX 3D, a limited selection of art-house films and gobble expensive snacks. Featuring a huge number of screens and some theaters with plush reclining seating (extra charge) we have seen several movies at Destiny USAs Regal Cinemas since its expansion. The experience has always been enjoyable and the service good. To see most smaller release films you will need to look elsewhere, but I do enjoy the experience of being on the top floor of the mall, above the fray and with plenty of space to mill about.

Its a great mall but since covid things slowed down but stores are great

It is a nice multiplex and is great that it now screens Bollywood movies...the food is crazy expensive...make sure you eat well before you enter :)

This is a wonderful theater complex that offers a wide selection of films at numerous times in varying theaters. The staff at the box office are very friendly and seating is assigned when ordering tickets, so if it is crowded you can reserve your spot in advance. The location is quite Grand located next to a beautiful atrium with glass elevators to enjoy the view. Seating is very comfortable, and a concession stand offers a variety of snacks. Bathrooms are clean. There are kiosks available to order tickets if the line at the box office is too busy. I would highly recommend this venue.

The customer service here is terrible. My daughter went on her first date here and unfortunately wasn’t able to see the rated R movie because she is only 16. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very nice; she told me she would give them a full refund.Unfortunately because he didn’t have his dads debit card which was used to purchase the tickets on him so the nasty blonde girl at the ticket booth refused to give him a refund or even a gift card and told him to email the company for a refund: provided no email address or any assistance.When I came and asked for the manager she was nasty to me and the manager Stephen Underwood was worse! He ended up calling mall security on me because I was asking for a refund! I never cursed at him or even raised my voice.It’s a shame her first date was ruined by nasty people.

We went to see Frozen 11 yesterday and the film was very good. Unfortunately the people sitting next to me talked through the entire movie because of the assigned seating we could not change our seats. This made it difficult to thoroughly enjoy a film we had been looking forward to for a long time.

Love Love Love this place! There are so many options and the movie theaters are so nice. It is also very cleanly and the employees are very friendly.

Good experience at a reasonable price! I had a good time with my friends. But few of their locations have a foul smell otherwise everything is good!

I give this for stars. Because it’s not too bad price is OK and the seating is all right. I always wish they had recliner seats but just wasn’t too bad.

Awesome place for shopping

Drove quite a distance and paid the premium to see an IMAX movie. The sound was so loud that my whole family had to cover their ears. 95db in the theater. This is well beyond the range that damages hearing. Apparently the theater is trying to mask their lack of decent speakers by turning them up to painful levels. I would expect these sound levels at a rock concert, not a theater where I might want to hear dialogue. Irresponsible and unsafe.

Pricing was reasonable. Cool you can choose your seat ahead of time, alot like movie tavern in that sense.

Cheap places that dont look busy allow you to enjoy your time quietly. I dont like crowding

They now give you the ability to pick your seats ahead of time when you buy tickets. This way, your seats are reserved. Pretty cool!

Conveniently located in a quieter section of Destiny USA. The first time I saw a movie in IMAX I swore I would never see a movie any other way. The seats are super comfortable in the IMAX and RPX theaters and the ability to reserve seats is super convenient. No more having to show up an hour ahead to get good seats, we now show up 5 minutes before the movie starts.

Clean, friendly and sterile environment! Also great popcorn and movies! Great place to go with family and friends to catch the latest movies!

Theater needs to upgrade their seats as other Regals have done but overall its a nice theater

Lion King! Uncomfortable seats and quite possibly the worst popcorn I’ve ever had. My wife wouldn’t even eat it and at $10 a bucket and a production cost of $.25 they need to work on quality control.

If you are willing to pay the continually increasing movie ticket prices and fees, this is a great theater to go to. The RPX and IMAX theaters are wonderful and comfortable. As you start to get a little uncomfortable two and a half hours into a movie, you realize how much better it is than the old style theater seats that would hurt after an hour.

Friendly ticket salespeople, wide selection at the concession stand, clean theaters, comfortable seating -- not a bad experience overall. If I have any critique it was the having to select the cinema seating - which created a bottleneck at the ticket booth. Enjoy the show!

Ya so circled the mall twice looking for a sign to park near, the whole time I’m calling the number listed trying to ask what to park near, it’s a 1844 number that isn’t theatre specific and can’t find this theaters number despite typing in the right zip. finally parked and walked forever. It’s on third floor escalator is being worked on. It’s now 3:30 for a 3:20 showing. Get to kiosk he says we have time til the move starts. I’m like cool two for 320 movie, he says oh you don’t have a ticket you have to buy them at the kiosk. I go to it the 320 iMax isn’t listed. I tell him he says he can’t sell tickets but the box office is around the corner. I give up at this point. No thank you, I’ll keep my money. Fail

The seats here (at least in the theater we sat in) are the not the new style reclining seats. I would expect for a theater in this amazing mall to have updated by now like almost all other theaters have. But that is not why I give it only 2 stars. The popcorn we purchased at the theater was the worse I have ever had at any theater. Many of the kernels were not completely popped. When you bit into the popcorn, you never knew what you were going to get...A nice satisfying piece of popcorn or a chipped tooth. For the ridiculous prices you pay for food at the theater, you would expect the quality to be at least good. We also had one member of our group order chicken fingers. Thank god we get 30 minutes of previews (Im being sarcastic here) because we waited 15 minutes for the chicken fingers (I guess they were butchering, breading, and frying them in the back).

Sound quality was amazing. Food and drinks were very good. Seats are combfotable but not for longer than 2 hours. Overall it was a great experience and i highly recommend going.

4 stars, would be 5 if it weren’t so expensive

It is kept up and clean enough. Staff are friendly and attentive. I havent experienced any technical problems with movies. Theres always a good selection of movies and times.

We saw Fast and the Furious presents Hobbs and Shaw - The movie was Amazing !!! We laughed so hard....We ordered popcorn and a soda..Popcorn was burnt...Soda was good..

The theaters themselves are nice, and they offer a decent variety of the recent films coming out, while also hosting special runs and screenings of films. The IMAX theaters are a plus and its worth it to see a movie there at least once

These theaters were clean and comfortable. There was a good selection of movies, the selection went beyond just the top 5 or 6 films in current release. They also have showings of Independent films, Classic films, Documentaries, the Met Opera and other programs not found in many chain theaters.Not a fan of the Mall. Wish I could access the theaters without going in the Mall.

Normal movie theater, the seats are comfortable and the theater is clean. Please remember as a movie goer to put your trash in the reciprocal on the way out. Isn’t not the staffs job to do it for you.

I typically enjoy going to the movies at destiny regal. Theaters are generally clean and updated. Its not the movie theaters fault but the clientele that goes see movies there typically talk through the entire movie and dont have consideration for people that like to enjoy the movies they pay for. It would be great if movie theaters would start having employees monitoring some movies and kicking people out for being disruptive.

I like how you can send someone to buy popcorn while you get the tickets. I also like the seating chart, pick your seat. Theater is clean, seats are good, room for your legs.Ok, so the last 2 times weve gone, someone has had to go out and tell them to turn the theater lights off after the movie has started??? Like whose job is that and why arent they paying attention to when the previews end?Come on Regal, get your people focused, I missed part of Captain Marvel because Im looking for the light switch. Good movie though

Only IMAX in the CNY area but rarely carries the 3D version of nrew releases. Recommend that attendance be after the 1st week of a showing since on two occasions I was at premiers have been cancelled due to technical problems.

Great atmosphere, you can reserve your comfortable seats beforehand. They have IMAX and self-serve kiosks to buy your tickets, but bring and armored truck for snacks and drinks. Portions are gigantic and prices are sky high.

Good movie viewing experience. Clean place. The concession stand staff could use some work. Youd almost think it was against company policy to smile. Plus when you order something as easy as a soft pretzel, its common service protocol to say if there is a wait. Instead, it was Heres your order. Me- okay and the soft pretzel? You pick that up on the side. 8 mins later....here comes the soft pretzel. Not a huge deal...just not very service oriented and since my lovely bride likes to arrive at the last possible minute for everything. ...8 mins felt like forever for a damn pretzel. Not to mention when youre paying $20/each for a movie...even the previews would be worth watching.

I really enjoyed the movie and Reginal Cinemas At the Destiny Usa mall is a very good place to go too watch a movie. The employees are very nice and fast paced. It makes you feel appreciative. Im definitely gonna visit again.

Great movie theater, but very confusing where the different theaters are.

Fast and friendly. Theater was squeaky clean. Service was fast & friendly. Restrooms were clean and stocked. Popcorn was fresh and yummy. No funky theater smells. That place is well managed and staffed. I would keep driving an hour there to visit that theater again.

This place never ceases to amaze me with their great service! My friend accidentally bought tickets for the showing the day before, and since they saw they went unredeemed, they replaced them with courtesy vouchers for that night. We would have had our entire night ruined and they couldnt have been happier to help. Ill never go to another movie theater as long as I live in Syracuse!

Typically have a pleasant experience. Throughout my 7 years living in Syracuse, the staff has done well.I noticed that my experience usually goes well because I say Please & Thank You!!! Everyone could use some kind manors.I’m hoping they update the seats to recline, similar to the “Globe” IMAX experience.I love the reserved seats as well, in RPX & IMAX, worth the money. I wish all seats were reserved!

The only reason I am giving one star is because, yes, the theaters are nice... But where in the world are the nice and friendly staff? found them very rude when I asked for help and when I got a drink the cashier basically threw my change at me and walked away. So, nope, I am never going there again, Id rather go to a junked up theater in the middle of nowhere because the staff actually treat you like a person, which helps when you are trying to have a stress free outing. I wish I had got their names because I would totally call them out right here right now. There were 3 of them, extremely rude, unfeeling and unhelpful. I am in customer service myself and the happiness and satisfaction of the customers always comes first no matter how you personally feel. Great job guys, keep up the great work of being very rude and unfriendly towards your customers

The great number of showing rooms at this Regal location is only offset by the uncomfortable and dated seating arrangements. I understand that it costs a large amount of investment to change the seats at a place as large as a theater, but as a consumer, it doesnt take much more driving to go to other theaters that have much better seating options that are even reservable! I suppose the convenience of a mall theater cant be beat though. If youre shopping at Destiny and feel in the mood to catch the latest release, by all means, come here. Otherwise, look elsewhere for comfy seats. Staff are usually pretty nice though!If this review was helpful, please consider a thumbs up. It would be greatly-appreciated!

Not Happy! Look up movie times on Regal Destiny USA. Com and it show that Ralph breaks the internet was playing at 3:40. When I got there with my 3 and 7 yr old children (2 days before Christmas) I was informed by the box office girl that the next showing of that was 7 p.m. she told me I shouldnt look at that website I should look at Fandango... My question is why wouldnt the actual website of the venue and have the correct times of movies that they show? Why would I have to look at a site that has nothing to do with the actual theater? No wonder why people stream movies online and dont pay theaters. Thanks for a fun day with my kids... NOT!!

Best theater in Syracuse, but they need to offer better matinee prices and we might go. In Phoenix the AMC theaters offer $5 matinees, here they are $12.

I love this movie theater. It’s clean and has the comfy seats. The staff is always pleasant and it’s easy to find when you arrive at the mall.

I recently went to watch Gully boy movie. It is a Bollywood movie so I think they assumed that the crowd size will be low. The hall size was small, gave the feeling of home theater. Seats were comfortable.

Theater was clean and movie was great. Downside was at concessions. It may have just been that night but they kept getting my families order wrong and made us wait around forever trying to correct it.

I was able to watch the wandering earth here and the experience was WONDERFUL.

We went to an RPX showing and were very happy with the picture and sound. The seats were very comfortable as well and had plenty of leg room.

$50 for a family of three to go see a movie, floors were sticky and employees although were board to the point of doing the minimum requirements of their job, understandable for what they are probably paid and average age of workers. So 3/5

This place is OK. The mall itself can be a little daunting especially late at night. The food prices are INSANE and not in a Crazy Eddies sort of way. I prefer the smaller regional theaters...

So I normally wait to go see movies until they get to the Hollywood Theater in Mattydale but on 5-13-19 me and my girlfriend decided to go see Detective Pikachu. The lady at the ticket counter was nice but tickets are way over priced. Then when we went up to get popcorn all I wanted was a tap water. When I asked for one the guy behind the counter tried to hand me a tiny cup that didnt even have a lid on it. When I asked for a bigger cup he said no we dont give out water unless you want to pay for a bigger cup are you kidding me?? Its water. WATER. But okay. Then he told us that if we got a large drink we could get another cup too split it in. So we said sure and got a large coke. Then he again tried to hand us those very tiny cups from before. I said no and we walked away. Ended up spending over 30$ for over salted and burnt popcorn and rude service. Very disappointed and I wont be returing for a movie there anytime soon.

After I watched Avengers endgame I had a good time at regal cinemas.

There is nothing like seeing a big movie on the big screen, we love the IMAX and RPX to see action movies.

Paid $40 for two RPX tickets. The theatre was dirty, covered in popcorn and napkins. The cup holders were wet and sticky. RPX prices for a mediocre movie experience.

Movie time is always great, especially with family.

Very busy theater but the option to pick seats ahead of time is a very welcomed change.
