Love this theater and cafe! Brought my sister from out of town for breakfast and specialty coffee. We were delighted and surprised by the sophisticated operation and menu options. Try the chocolate chai. The owners renewed the life of this theater with fun family friendly nights as well as adult oriented films and events. A gem in Eastwood worth the visit.

This is an old theater that is nice but needs a little TLC. I still like it though. Reminds me of being a kid.The seats are small on the main floor. The are some really big seats in the balcony.Parking is on the street.

Cute historical Theatre. The seats were wide and comfortable, although slightly low to the ground. Small Theatre so anywhere you sit will be pretty close to the stage. Parking was easy enough to find across the street behind a business - a short walk and was there.

This old-time theatre is very nostalgic. I have seen movie screenings here and have been to other events here. You get the feel of going back in time when you hang out in the lobby. Restrooms are clean, popcorn is fresh.

Saw Salt City Waltz. Nice acoustics, but don’t sit near the front because the security guards encourage everyone to stand between the stage and the front seats, completely blocking the view of the stage. They serve alcohol and do not control the amount. Consequently there were a lot of large drunk men holding 2-3 beers each, which I found intimidating. It is as if they all came for the purpose of getting drunk and acting obnoxious, which detracted from my enjoyment of some great music.

Lovely place for a concert. Nicer than the Landmark. Did not care for inept staff that wanted me to wait outside in the bitter cold. If you are going to serve beer and wine, be prepared to have people deal with and remove drunks.

One of the old movie houses, the Palace now hosts a wide variety of events. I dont know the owners personally, but I am grateful to them for saving this old girl from the wrecking ball. Parking can sometimes be a challenge, but you just need to be creative and perhaps walk a little. The inside of the building shows its age if you look too close, but what is on stage is where you should be looking anyway.

This place is so amazing and historic to Syracuse. Except, it desperately needs air conditioning and a face lift. Parking is also a bear. If you dont get to park in the lot, the rest is street parking, which I have to say really isnt terrible... As long as its during the day.

Review №57

Pleasantly surprised by this venue! I attended a concert here and wasnt really sure what to expect considering the number of reviews indicating that it needs updating or maintenance. Sometimes thats a code for junky but not in this case. This is a vintage theatre! I can only imagine the kind of work that goes into maintaining a place like this and deciding what to repair, what to replace, and so on among the doubtless endless string of things going wrong. The owners have done a great job refreshing it, keeping it comfortable and clean, and installing some modern amenities that make it a joy. Its easy to get booze, easy to get around to the bathrooms, easy to sit, and the acoustics are really good for a stage show.No complaints from me!
