Great place. Weve seen many really good movies there for three bucks a person. They are very creative in their movie selections. We dont really like action movies or most kiddie movies - and they show plenty of both - but they also will show a movie like Brooklyn just a few months after its released. The theater is old but the seats are new and super comfortable. The screen and the sound are great!

An affordable movie theater for families. Parents are probably wary about taking multiple children to the mall and paying big money to see a movie. At the time of this review, Hollywood Theater charges $3/ticket! You will get to see recent movies after theyve overstayed their welcome at Regal Cinemas. Because there is only one screen, there are only several showings a day. Make sure to plan ahead and arrive early. With the newly installed, leather reclining seats, its important to make sure you arent arriving late. While there is an abundance of seating, theres less than before so it may be hard for large groups to sit together unless you arrive early.Concession stand prices are reasonable with a wide variety of candy to choose from. Popcorn and Nachos are also available. Staff is friendly, theater is clean (did not visit the restroom).Location is a Pokestop for those who play Pokemon GO

Okay. This is my favorite movie theatre to go to. They have movies that have just left bigger theaters. Leather reclining chairs, decently priced popcorn and drinks and the kicker; the price! It is $2 on weekdays and $3 on the weekends. You really can’t beat that price. Especially since the staff is so friendly and the theater is immaculate. The only downside, I would say, is that they have small bathrooms which is fine. I can wait until I get home. Well worth the drive!

The theater is a wonderful blast from the past, with its vintage marquee and neon Hollywood Theater sign! The people are kind and courteous and serve with smiles! The replacement of the old seats with modern recliners with cup holders make watching films there cozy and comfy! We also love that we can bring our family, as well as our boys friends, with such a reasonable ticket price! Thanks, Hollywood!

Where else can you go for fresh popped large Popcorn with a large soda and the Movie ticket for $13 for all 3! New power reclining seats with great screen and sound. Kick back and relax to a fantastic experience.

Nice surprise with the new recliner seats. Spacious, clean despite being an old theater. Prices are the very best you could hope for. Paid $2 to see the movie. Great experience.

A neighborhood theatre! Meet the locals and enjoy movies on the cheap. The snack offerings are just as sparse as the movie schedule. However, it definitely lives up to the budget movie ticket experience. If you are used to paying two-digit-movie-ticket prices, then come and give this little gem a chance to change your mind on movie going experience.

Its a wonderfully run theatre! Friendly staff, kept pretty well clean. The seats are SUPER comfy. $2 movies, 3 on the weekend, very reasonable concession prices. Very highly recommend that you get their newsletter

Love this theater! Its only $2-3 (depending on the day), the seats are reclining and comfortable. The screen is a good size, the sound has been updated and crisp.

This is such a amazing theater. I go here every time I want to see a movie. They have the greatest seats, and movies. That being said, the flaws i have are as followed: 1. The movies come late. Expect all the movies that you see come out a minimum of 2 months later. The last flaw is parking. They are probably only 2 spots in the front of the theater. The rest is in the back, making for a walk. Overall, I would 100% recommend this place. If you are wondering, tickets are 2 and 3 dollars.

The Hollywood is terrific! The reclining seats are comfortable, the workers are friendly, and the price of tickets is ridiculously low. Check it out for yourself.

Best priced movies in town. Our seats not reclining is the only gripe, but with popcorn and shushies plus admission for a family of 5 for under $40, its definitely still 5 stars for me. And still far better than regular movie seats for sure.

Great prices, community atmosphere, and its kinda nice that its only the one theater, everyone is there to see the same thing. Plus those chairs cannot be beat! Fully reclining with extra wide arm rests to place to drinks and snacks. Cant beat a $2-$3 movie!

Great theater! Second run movies before they hit rental status with a discounted price of $2 or $3 per person. You cant beat that for a movie. Newer reclining seats that were very comfortable and didnt completely recline like some Ive been to, which is good because I fall asleep in those. Check this place out if you want to see a movie at the theater on a budget.

Great experience at the Hollywood. Saw infinity war for the second time, everything was great. Sound was on point, not muffled, not too much bass. Perfect. Screen resolution was great as well. Such a good place to come for a cheap movie, cheap food prices but overall a great time! I reccomend getting there early and getting your seats as it fills up quick and seating is limited.

Excellent value. Theater seats are by far better than the mall theater. Admission is only a few dollars and concessions are extremely reasonable.

Love it here! Super comfortable, reclining seats! Monday - Thursday, tickets are only $2.00! Weekends are still an awesome price at only $3.00!! 3D films are an additional $1.00.My husband & I go at least 2x a month for date night. Plus, we bring our 5 yr old grandson as often as they show G rated films. He loves the reclining seats!3 people + a medium popcorn, $11.00. Youd pay more for just ONE ticket anywhere else!!!I highly recommend this place!!!!

Small theater but nice comfy seats that have footrests and recline. Movies come out later and past when the big guys have them but they are usually cheaper and a great opportunity to see something you missed! Also sell old posters so if you are a collector or just like movies check it out . A good local place

Older theater with upgraded leather reclining seats. Theater shows recently released movies which may have just left the major movie theaters or are a couple of months old - the great catch is you only have to pay $2.00 during the week and $3.00 during the weekend. Employees are very friendly too. Parking lot with spaces on the side and the back, and only a couple in the front.

This place is a gem. The seats are spacious and comfortable, the room temperature just right. Cant beat the prices and the staff are so pleasant!

Even the sound quality is better than it used to be. They have done a very nice job maintaining the theater and offer their deals on concessions as well. Great deal! Be prepared to avoid potholes in the parking lot and risk breaking your ankle.

I love taking my kids here! The only theater besides Movie Tavern with those great big comfy recliners. And the tickets are only $2 or $3 dollars!!! They dont play the newest movies but they play ones that just left the other big theaters. The rest of it is kinda run down and small. But the seats and prices make up for that!!!

Havent been to the Hollywood Theater in a while. All the seats have been replaced with beautiful red reclining seats. There are fewer seats but way more legroom. Prices are still very low. We paid $3/person on a weekend. Great prices on the concessions. Staff are super nice. A very family oriented theater. It is now our go-to theater!

Most inexpensive theater in Syracuse NY for secondary first runs, if you gotta see it on opening, well no, they all come out here, recliner chairs, medium and large popcorn, Ya AYCE, temp control, good, noise level, no problem, times spaced out up to generally last movie choice, 8ish plus, parking in rear.$2 on week days $3 for weekends.

Cant beat the price and the comfortable seating the fresh popcorn is yummy and Id rather wait till the movie I want to see is here rather than going to Destiny on a Friday night

Ive only been here once and was quite a few years ago but enjoyed the experience. A low cost way to entertain friends and/or family. Now with the new seating makes me want to return and see the changes myself. Also, this is your second chance to see a particular movie you werent able to.

White trash of Syracuse at its finest!!!!! Meand my daughter came to see a movie and couldnt even get seated because of people sneaking in. The organization was very poor. On the other hand the man was very helpful and had great customer service.

Nice remodeled classic cinema theater. Has updated sound system and recliner seats. Movies are mostly on their just before video run so on a Friday and Saturday the admission fee is $3 and $2 All other days.
