If you love the outdoors and wanna get outta the drama packed place called the cities. Stop no further but to this serine and beautiful place full of nature and peace. My Lady, the puppy and myself took a couple days off to get away from the rush of life and negative atmosphere of the city at the moment. And it was soo Amazing. The weather was a little chilly but nothing a good sweater can solve. We hiked for about 7 miles and brought water and a couple snacks which I advise. Alot of good eats in the area but my favorites are Bettys pies. And Saras Table. Wowzers. I cant wait to make it up again in the next couple weeks. The great outdoors and good company is all you need.

This is a truly great disc golf course in the making. Championship caliber from the longs, and a high course from short. Play tough for righties and lefties, woods early and late. Better tee pads and signage will make this work in progress hard to beat. A must play for the area

The third largest municipal forest in the nation consisting of 4400 acres of natural boreal forest along the south of St Luis Bay on the west side of Superior, Wisconsin. Parts of it are included in The Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve. The forest includes many miles of trails for cross-country skiing, biking, walking, snowshoeing. Canoeing, kayaking, boating, and fishing access provides some great experiences along the shoreline of the bay. A recently developed wilderness 9 hole disc golf course has been such a hit that there are plans for the possible expansion of another nine holes. The cross-country skiing is some of the best in the area.

The public disc golf course is a pretty challenging course but it well maintained and fun to play.

Its really nice and easy to get to. Good for reactive dogs who dont get along with other dogs too well.

It has a great trail and dog park, lots of parking, although the dog park isnt exactly handicap accessible

This place is great for biking, rollerblading, hiking, and paddling in the summer. In the winter, the ski trails are excellent. Lots of back woods and quiet places.

Nice open parking privet secluded dog park quiet a good place to go when you want to just get away for the night and the walking trail is paved and its just a really nice place

Beautiful trails throughout the forest. Year round use between disc golf and x-country skiing. Disc golf course has 9 great holes, with another 9 hopefully coming next year! Good mix of length, elevation, and technicality.

My daughter, a friend and I went to do some x-country skiing. Trails were groomed perfectly.

This is an awesome place to go to enjoy nature regardless of the season.

Smaller dog park is well maintained. Nice paved multi-use trail.

This is a great little gem of a trail network right in Superior! We can’t believe we didn’t know about it for years, we will definitely be back in all seasons.

The tall grass is for the nice and voles and other tiny woodland creatures. It is always fun, and in the winter, it is almost magical.

The grass is overgrown so much that it was not fun. They are such nice trails when the grass is cut. The grass was as tall as we were and it cut up our legs.
