Beats Central Park hands down. Parking under the museum is expensive but convenient.and umm.... you can get tobacco products there so EZ. Word-up.Next best thing to delivery. :-)

Its undergoing expansion and is closed but is showing up as being open on the internet. They need to stop wasting peoples time!

Half of it is closed do to construction on the water park, otherwise is a nice walk and you can sit next to the lake and enjoy a peaceful time.

Great path area. My girls had fun riding their bikes on the path provided. Theres also a large grass area to play soccer. Hope construction will be completed soon so they can have access to the playground.

How long does it take to complete the construction of a park? This thing has been under construction for well over a year! China can build a whole hospital in 10 days and we can’t build a park?

Welleby park is great i liked it but not loved it because its under construction for something great but right now the only part to it is a soccer field and a long jogging/biking path. Those are fine its an okay park but it will get much better I hope construction hurries up.

Great place for family gatherings, clean spacious, and now that the weather is changing is a pleasure to visit, enjoy the breeze, a nice walk, this is the perfect weather in our sunshine state to enjoy this beautiful park.EnjoyHave a Blessed Day

Went here for a birthday party and it was a nice park didnt get to to check out the playground we were busy at the Pavillion and the big field it was a nice day

Nice when it is not crowded

I like to go to this park for the Woodstock Arts and Crafts Festival. Its small compared to other Broward Parks. The only reason I gave the park a 4 besides its size, is because it isnt dog friendly. I love bringing my small dog with me to parks and have been told hes not allowed :(

Extremely clean and quiet park there is a veterans memorial monument, quite a few picnic shelters, jogging trails with exercise equipment. There is a very popular playground up front for the children. The park is surrounded by a very Scenic Lake.

(Edit 06/03/17) - Well, that was short lived. Back to the obnoxious blaring music on the weekends. I hate this park and its administrators for ruining my weekends.(Edit 04/08/17 - They seem to have a new policy in place. I havent heard obnoxiously loud music in several weeks. Much better! Changing my rating to 5 stars.) The park is beautifully maintained and usually a pleasure to live near, but on the weekends when they blast music that rattles my windows, its a nuisance. They dont seem to have any noise regulation. I work hard all week and have to put up with this on the weekends.

I liked the pavilion we were in. It was a fun outing with the family. It has a big park that has shade covering for the kids to play. The bathrooms have nice AC and is clean. They also have great nature walks.

This park is gorgeous and the kids love to come here. Excellent trails and camping areas with gas grills, but the playground is currently under construction.

Nice park. We held a birthday party here and there is plenty of room for the kids to play. Gas grills are a nice plus but they dont work very well.

Quiet, they have workout equipment, walking paths, located next to the hiatus bike path. There are open shelters for gatherings. Each shelter has a BBQ (gas).

This park is nice. Great for peaceful and quiet walks and the scenery is terrific.

Great for kids and adults. Bbq, picnics, birthday parties, exercise. Only downside is that they take cover off playground for half the year, so you have full sun until just before dusk, then they close.

Very nice park around plenty of water. Wish the playground had a seesaw but it does have some type of makeshift awning so raining wont necessarily ruin an outing with the young ones. Plenty of pavilions, some with bbqs, for parties so theres lots of activity over the weekend which Im not necessarily found of when utilizing the park for a jog/workout. Good thing is theres an entrance to the new Hiatus greenway (new bike trail parallel to a canal) to get away from the distractions. Theres also various workout stations, better utilized on quieter days throughout the week. Overall a great place to see a little wildlife (iguanas, ducks and other birds, turtles) and enjoy time with friends and family.

This park actually feels more like 2 separate parks. The portion/parking lot located off of Hiatus is an open field great for flying kites or quadcopters and is outfitted with benches with plenty of shade great for a picnics. Or just a quiet lunch if you work nearby. There is also a sidewalk loop around the entire park Ive found great for running/biking/skateboarding. There are plenty of ducks always around to feed as well. This park is attached to the portion accessible off of 44th St via a small walking bridge. Its on this side of the park youll find the pavilions, volleyball nets, and childrens park. Be aware every weekend, nearly all day, this park is a favorite spot for large parties with the music/bounce houses/large amounts of kids running around without supervision that these gatherings usually entail. I would definitely recommend this park over the SAC (Sunrise Athletic Complex) further down the street however if you have older children. The play area at this park is more geared towards them, and can accommodate smaller children easily as well. While the SAC playground is more solely for younger children and doesnt have the equipment to engage older children.

My pregnant wifes purse was stolen from her car while she was taking care of my daughter on the playground. Needs security!!!

My wifes car was broken into, smashed side window. Was told it was a regular thing that happens. No security cameras or signs warning of recurring vandalism. So beware it you park there.
