Excellent gun range! Great, safe and ample facilities! Staff is super helpful and nice! As an outdoor public gun range, way better than those high priced members gun ranges! 3 hours time for 3 of us shooters, with targets ONLY $53 BUCKS! NO nonsense range! I sincerely recommend! When they open at 1pm for example, be sure to arrive 15 minutes before. Spots fill up fast! And its no wonder, great place to let off rounds!

Only been once, but I enjoyed it very much. Markham park has so many activities to enjoy and the target range is a new experience for me. I would definitely love to come back again and practice. Staff is friendly and the people there just give a great enjoyable experience.

Markham Park is one of my favorite places.It is a spacious, green sanctuary.The RC airfield is awesome. I enjoy watching the different model airplanes.There is plenty of room to ride a bike, have a picnic, orgo for a run.Its also a great place to workout.

I come here often. Love the many walking and biking trails. There is a mountain bike park I have yet to venture. I might not be young enough to enter.

This is definitely the mountain bike park you want to come to if youve been mountain biking for a while and feel like youve been lacking a challenge in the other trails around South Florida.This trail system has everything from a skills section, and asphalt pump track, to challenging technical climbs and even some beginner/intermediate jump lines with a dirt jump/bowl setup a little further past that.Whether its wooden features, rock gardens, jumps, or gapped drops, youll run into something that pushes your skill set at the mountain bike trails at Markham.Sidenote: I purchased the annual mtb trail pass in mid August, and they only charge $13 at this point into the year since it expires at the end of December. Pretty good deal.

Diversified Park and something for everyone. We have camped there before but now go for the mt. Bike trails. They are well marked and have the levels. The hardest (black) is no joke. You must be advanced in technical riding to attempt this.

Great family park, full of things to do do and huge! Plenty of room to socially distance. BTW if youre not on the dog park, keep your dog leashed. I had the cops on me in under 3 minutes asking me to leash my dog, Even in an open empty field.

I will definitely take the family out there again! They have a volleyball court, tennis court, play grounds, swimming pool, fitness area, dog park and they have a lake you can jet ski and much more! Unfortunately due to the coronavirus a lot of things were tape off. But still recommend to go there if you want to go out for a walk or a bike ride!

Very Nice Camping!I stayed here for 2 nights and found this park and campground to be one of the nicest and well maintained county parks I have stayed at. The property is so nice and very quiet at night. I had a little trouble finding the sewer hook up hole in the ground when I got to my site. It was mostly due to the amount of leaves on the ground. I called the office and they sent out a ranger to help. In no time we found it and was set up. If you are in a RV or Van i recommend getting provisions before getting set up. there is nothing really close by for shopping. Walking the grounds here is a big plus for staying at a park. The entire area is full of nature trails, ponds, lakes and activities. Theres a shooting range in the park and it is open until late each night but dont let that stop you from staying here. It is not that loud and you can get a space far away from the range. All in all, this is a great place to stay for a few nights and take in all that Florida nature as to offer.

Great park lots of activities for the whole family, including camping boating biking flying model aircraft basketball nature walks, bring sunscreen and bug spray and lots of water some snack and enjoy.

Yes, this place is totally old, and not the best maintained (potholes everywhere) but it was really fun, and my daughter loved it! Especially the animals...the crowd was great! We would totally bring the kids back here...even thinking of having her bday here!

Huge Park. Plenty of space to walk around and cook. Great park for biking and exercise. The dog park is also great and very spacious.

At the moment of this review, Markham Park has free entry, it’s not very full, and everyone is in their own little isolated groups, keeping social distancing. It’s great place to get out of the house, not spend any money and change the scenery for a while. It is hot outside, some get a spot with shadows and bring water if you’re staying a few hours.

A great place to just relax. Enjoy the model airplanes flying, some frisbee golf, or target practice. Cant wait for Covid to pass so that the entire park is re-opened and available. Still one of the best parks in West Broward with access to some bike trails out into the everglades along the canal banks. Havent utilized the camp grounds, but have heard great things from those who have. The mountain bike courses are also spoken of highly.

I cant believe I never came here before, this place is amazing. Officially my favorite place, will be back here a lot

What an amazing park, so much to do and so many places to go.

Love this park!! Playgrounds for the kids, BBQ spots, great walks and even a fitness centre for the grown ups! You can venture through the nature trail right up to the everglades while checking out the butterfly garden and Barkham Park on the way :)

The best in South florida! That is until the new one in palm beach fully opens with the new digital readout targets that tell you where your shots are being placed ;)

This park has allowed the volunteeres and donations of Club Mud to build South Floridas premier mountain bike trails. Amazing place for intermediate and advanced riders, there is a few trails for novices too.

They have a nice dog park, great mountain bike trails, and other neat features such as a shooting range, pavilions for parties, and hobby areas such as RC plane and even RC truck courses. If youre a regular, Id recommend the annual pass.

This was the best place we stayed on our maiden snow-birding trip. This place has everything. And to my surprise they offer WiFi that actually works. A great place to walk, bike, or hike, camp, picnic and even fly your drone or planes. Well maintained and right off the expressway.

Lots of space to play and have fun with family. The park was very clean also :)

Great place to shoot. The range masters are very professional. Fewer restrictions than most indoor ranges because the indoor ranges have more requirements to protect their equipment. Bring refreshments.

Really enjoyed this beautiful park. My boyfriend and I went here on a Monday and it was super quite and peaceful. Everyone seemed very friendly. Definitely going to come back to this park.

This review is for the old time shooting range. First, you need to enter the park ($1.50). The range is located at the Northern part of the park. The entry is quite inexpensive. Targets from $0.50 to $5.00 each. You can buy cartridges there too. You need to use tape to attach the targets to the cardboard first. Then enter the range. Since it’s an outdoor range, you’d need to wait until the shooting stops. When it does, you need to attach the cardboard with the target to the metal frame and then manually bring it and push to the range’s ground. Not a 21st century technology but I guess it keep the cost of entry down ($15). Also they ask to sweep the used cartridges after shooting. Could be enjoyable time if not too many people around.

The park was outstanding, the waters were still, the trees were so beautiful and such large space of grass. I enjoyed every bit of it. The only thing I could’ve done without was watching the iguana climb the tree.

Beautiful, well located park, picnic area, lots of birds, herons, squirrels, signs warn you can find some alligator in the lake area (we didnt see any). Its to be alert! Personal watercraft lake. Can use a jetsky too. It has area reserved for the shooting of dishes and target with firearm. Bike trail, butterfly garden, disk golf, dog park, shelter to rent, fishing... is a big park, have activity for anyone.1.50 /person weekends and holidays (kids 5 and under is free).

Not the fanciest park i have been to, but its a nice place to have a little fresh air sometimes.

What an amazing outdoor range. Staff is very professional and friendly. The rules for safety are always kept and it’s a pleasure to come and practice. The staff is very knowledgeable and you can always ask a question. On a nice day try and get there early because it gets very busy on the weekends.

Great park for any activity! I was out at the RC Truck course and had a blast, easily can be out there for hours. The rest of the park has accommodations for anything, BBQ, camping, kyaking/canoeing, sports you name it.

A perfect place to teach someone to drive, the speed limit is only 15 in the entire park so everybody goes slow, there is not so many cars on the streets as in the city and there is some places where there is almost no cars at all, the distance is also sufficient so you not get bored. Just remember to have the learners permit, the police is present in the park and may check you out. Beside that the park is a very nice place to go for a picnic, barbecue or even camping (including a tent camping), there is a plenty of spots.

Everything very nice ..i just Took There a Kids Gasoline ATV my Doughter couldnt Ride Too Much Because they Told Us Not to even Electric Toys Couldnt Be Ride in The Park..i dont Get it if the Point.. to Have Fun With Kids why This Kind Of toys are not allowed.

Peaceful in the morning around 7am. There nobtraggic on the roads so its the perfect spot for cyclists. There turns and dips that are enjoyable as well as this park comes with a vast amount of activities. I may consider the gun range and the archer section.

The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Shooting, whether it be hand guns or long guns can be intimidating. The staff here made everyone feel very comfortable and coached everyone up on techniques as well as safety, with pointers for gun size and fit. Really great experience. John R was exceptional as our trapper and we could not have been happier. We have been there for some sort of shooting every week since our initial visit.

Great park to bring your family. There’s much to do here is great!! I mainly go here for their biking trails. In my opinion it is the top mtb park in south Florida. The trails are set up for all riding levels( green/ blue/ black). Just ride within your limits and you’ll have a great time!!

Range officials made me feel at home. As a military weapons expert I was not expected a public range to be so professional. I have a BAR 308 and to my surprise Joel (range officer from NY) spotted for me and adjusted my scope and ranged me in as the distance increased....Made for a great day for 3 hrs @ $15... I feel comfortable bringing friends and family to experience Markham park shooting range. Im shopping for a shotgun to try skeet shooting. Check it out!

Great Trails for Beginners through to Experts: But I only rode the easier trails on this my first Markham experience because I was with my 11-year-old son. We both had a blast. While trail signage was plentiful (we always knew whether we were going backwards or not) but I still found that the bailout and trail head signage was lacking. Well be back to ride Markham again! Nice little pump track and skills section near the parking lot and loved the cool water bottle fountain and big bike wash station.

Go early, less people and the temperature is cooler. Great area for picnic and sports.
