Excellent e-bike rental service. John is an expert on bikes and gave an outstanding demonstration of the medium-sized one I rode. My first time on an e-bike and my first words were: Oh! Boy! as I zipped off down the street. Did the Two Bridges route (new bridge and lift bridge) and then an hour on the Browns Creek and Gateway trails. Zoomed UP the hills - and still got a good workout as they are pedal assist bikes. Highly recommend Big River LTD.

Turbo Molly reporting from downtown Stillwater. “Turbo” is a setting on the electric bike that makes your biking dreams come true....you barely have to pedal UP hill & it creates a fantastic ride! We had a excellent time renting our ebikes from this vendor today. Our outfitter was knowledgable and helpful, fitting our rental bikes to each one of us. The bikes themselves were superb-from the tip of the disc brakes to the wide comfy seat.

We rented the Ebikes for 2 hours. When we arrived they made sure the bike was fitted for our size and showed us how the electric bikes worked. My 13 year old was able to ride the bike without a problem. We had a fantastic time riding around Stillwater. The bikes were fully charged and great fun for the whole family!

My husband and I took our boys for a ride and he was so helpful! Our 7 year old son wasn’t big enough for the e-bike but our older son, my husband and I did and blew through 12 miles in a breeze! The owner personalized a perfect fit a standard bike for our 7 year old and he did great! Thank you for a memorable day! We’ll be back!

John is a great guy; easy to work with, very accommodating! We rented some e-bikes for a few hours one beautiful Saturday, and now want to buy some! So glad to know Big River is close by!!

It was a fun, summer day in beautiful Stillwater Minnesota and a great experience getting on an electric bike. I was nervous because it has been a very long time. Great experience! The staff is very friendly and informative! They have water for everyone and even loaned us a fanny pack!The trails in the Stillwater are beautiful! Nicely shaded and well maintained!

We had bikes rented at 11:00 and they cancelled on us at 10:35. They stated they“missed” our reservation which was false and inaccurate. They confirmed it and then reminded us of it the night before. Don’t go with this business!!!!

Great bike rental place with top quality electric bikes and regular bikes. Up the alley from Candyland on Main St in Stillwater. Run by the owner who happens to also be an experienced bike guy.

Stillwater is a beautiful town, being able to rent bikes from John and explore the area was a blast! The electric bikes were an awesome experience, very reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back the next time we are in Stillwater.

My 6 year old son had his bike chain fall off while we were riding on the browns creek trail on our way into downtown Stillwater. I discovered Big River LTD conveniently located near Candyland! John Mayek, owner, fixed the chain for us. He was very friendly and helpful!

This was a great experience! John went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable before we took off in the kayaks. He even showed up later with water for us. Only advise would be to check spam email for reservation updates sent over by crew. Also be sure to supply your phone # in profile so they can connect easily for meet up point. All in all an amazing experience!
