Good package deals for birthday parties with 2 hrs of open play on the games. My 10 year old had a great time! Food is still a little pricey, but all in all a good experience.
Hopefully cant blame staff for the picture. Found this in the mens bathroom. Thought it was amusing.Ive been here for two birthday parties. Games are fun, pizza tasted good, and the kids had fun. I grew up going to a location closer to Chicago. This one is much smaller, but is still great for kids.My biggest complaint was the small number of staff working. Only one woman was working behind the ticket counter. I believe she was also in charge of the front registers too. There was nobody at the door stamping the kids. There were many kids climbing on games. Im more blaming the parents for that one than staff, but staff didnt seem to care when they saw it.
Great fun for my granddaughters birthday party as always but Prices remain outrageous. Large order of boneless wings which filled only half of a standard plastic basket was $18. Pizza was not bad. Salad bar was a wreck. Many items had no serving pieces. I used same serving piece in several different containers. The cherry tomatoes were wrinkled and a few were rotten. The macaroni salad was discolored and dried out on top. The pizza order took over an hour. They said it had to be redone because they discovered the mushrooms were rotten. Place has really gone down hill.
Tonight I was invited to a birthday party reservation. They instructed us to go play games, then we would have the birthday show, cake, and pizza. 15 minutes into playing games our pizza arrived. When you do unlimited play pass, its 2 hours of play once the first card gets activated, so we lost out on play time. The pizza was extremely cold, and we did not get everything that was bought with the package. When we talked to the manager about it she got very very rude. And we ended up getting kicked out for false accusations. When we were leaving the managers BOYFRIEND was waiting outside for us. And proceeded to try to fight two of the men that were at the party. I would NOT recommend this establishment to anybody. This place has very poor hospitality. Had my daughters birthday there for 3 years, and we will not be back!
Nice service. Caring staff. Clean.
Raised prices and changed the amount of tickets you can win on a game. Ex. On the fishing game if you got the jellyfish you won 150 tickets now its only 90 tickets. They want you to buy more time/points is the only conclusion I came to. If you go there notice that youll only win a small amount of tickets per round.
I love how family friendly this restaurant/kids game area is for the most part. I only had one instance where the guy in charge of letting the kids through the door via a stamp disappointed me because he ahedly even looked at the stamp my kid had. She could have walked out with anyone. The only other negative was that a few 0f the games were broken. Nothing major. My kid loved it.
We had my sons birthday party there. The staff was great and very accommodating. Fun was had by both the kids and adults.
I went to the Springfield Illinois location for a school fundraiser, me and my family were there for over 2 hours and 20 mins total it took them over 1 hour and 20 mins to bring our pizzas, I ordered two mediums, look below at the attached pictures, the first pizza on the bottom was a sausage and was col the other was a pepperoni and it was significantly smaller then the sausage. The only reason I didnt ask for a refund and leave is because 15% was going to my childrens school. Horrible!
My kid got bit by the animatronic and his frontal lobe is now missing ...good pizza tho
Been here all my life. Through all the changes always loved it growing up. Nothing bad about it. This visit was the same as always. Great. One of the workers seemed to be a bit irritable and snappy with a parent but I mean. Hes working mid day surrounded by kids and it looked like one of them was climbing on a machine. Pizzas good. Stuffed crust good but seemed to have a strong yet weird garlic taste kind of stopped me from eating too much.
Understaffed during birthday parties on a busy Saturday. Kids/Adults were not scanned at exit. By stamping hands at the entrance, you are setting up an expectation that this space is secure and safe, but it is not. No toilet paper in bathroom. Some staff were trying to make up for their lazy colleagues, but they cant do it all themselves. At one point 3 or 4 staff members were just sitting on the stage while one was clearing tables. Kids get up and dance with Chuck E Cheese, but there are too many tables and not enough space. Kitchen is slow. Makes no sense because birthday parties order in advance, so why are they surprised? Bloomington location is managed MUCH better. Wish I could have put this on my feedback form, but staff was looming over my shoulder while I completed it. They also asked me to complete the feedback form before the experience was over. Weird. Just weird.
Great place to take to kids or grandkids for fun and games and food
Great place to eat and have fun
Wonderful place .... Very family friendlyMy grand kids love going here and would go every day...LOL
It was ok. Different than bak in the day. I like the unlimited play. But the tickets u get get you the tiniest prize. Expensive. But if the kids are entertained and happy it worth it.
It seems as though of late the service has been much better as well as the environment Im very pleased to see that since this is an anchor of Town & Country
Awesome place for kids parties only $16 for 45 minutes of play
Parent company has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy as per WAND.
The children wasnt able to play but 20 minutes at most. A manger ended up calling her boyfriend and had him trying to fight my three older brothers in front of the kids. Then worksers there tried saying my mom and brother dlsaid that they were gonna fight her. The regional manager that was there that night wasnt being a regional manager at all. They only wanted our money and wanted us to leave. This was on January 19th, 2020 at 4-6:00 pm.
The staff isnt very friendly or helpful. You have to wait a long time to be served or helped at the counter. They will walk right past you and not even ask you what you need. It used to be better i dont know what happened. They need to train their staff better or have more staff on hand.
Ive loved it here since I was a little girl.
Best place for a kid to be a kid...
My kids love to go to Chuck E. Chesse, they always have a great time. Other than people not watching their kids and them running and knocking over the little kids. Also very poor customer service. They need more staff on hand.
Daughter loves to play like that they dont use coins anymore
This is one of the best Chuck E. Cheese we have been to all the staff was friendly pizza was hot and fresh all they games worked and we seen chucky out almost the whole time we where there dancing!! Great experience with the kids!
Fun place but prices are steep and minute policy over tokens is a joke. Some of the employees have no idea what theyre doing but the cook seem to be competent. Fun for an occasional outing with the kids. Not so much a place to go often.
Had our daughters 7th birthday here. Affordable and she had so much fun. Place was clean and staff very helpful
They have sensory friendly Sunday once a month I think. Its great!
My kids love this place
Really nice for kids of course and also family fun
Kids loved it! Great place to have a Birthday Party
Love the new games they have a place where I can be a kid and Im almost 40
Most aspects were acceptable, mostly clean, mostly friendly, equipmentmostly worked. Child prizes were adequate. My problem was the noise level. The piped music for the show was soloud i couldnt hear my grandkids at the table. Would love to have a decibelreading for the area farthest from the stage. Cant believe it would pass recommended standards for young children.
My kids loved it I havent been since I was little just need more games for smaller kids but other then that it was fine
My Grandson turned 10 on the 23 of Aug. He wanted to come here for his bday party. He had a blast. Ty.
The games are fun but the food is meh. Average food.
Dirty, very poor customer service, rude employees, it took an hour to get a sample platter. The employees were to busy talking to each other then helping out the customers. No paper towels in the bathrooms. And dirty tables left for an hour until they cleaned it up. And we had to request them to clean them. And they didnt even wipe down the whole table.
We got here when it opened at 10am. It is actually pretty quiet. Most days u can barely moveinhere but today its fairly nice
This place.has awesome pizza and fun games!
The floor in the bathroom was sticky literally all over. We also waited a long time for 2 pizzas when the place was pretty dead. Chucky also didnt seem too enthusiastic to be there.
Kids had a blast and the pizza was great
The games were fun, but the staff completely ruined the experience. As soon as we walked in, the woman stamping hands was extremely short and rude with us. She was also loudly complaining about wanting to quit because apparently today a lot of the staff called off. Right after we were stamped she went behind the pay counter and we got to interact with her again. She at first REFUSED to look at us until we waited until she would look up to continue speaking. She was impatient about us putting in the card and impatient about us taking the pass cards. I couldnt get her name but she had red dreads. Clearly there are some staffing issues that need to be addressed.
The pizza took forever ..about an hour. Kids were crabby and hungry. But the games were very fun and I love that they can use the cards instead of coins.
Its alot better than it use to be with the hour passes, kids loved em
Strange mouse. Tried to high five chunk cheese but he just looked at me and injected himself with heroin. The ticket blaster was pretty cool tho. Would come again I guess
Son had a blast and so did I
Had reserved a birthday party for both my kids . Showed up 20 minutes before the party was to start and there was nobody setting up our party . They started setting up 5 minutes before the party was to start . Then the workers disappeared, didnt even have a host for the first 30 minutes of the party. Kids were standing around waiting for wrist bands because the girl who was supposed to be my host didnt show up for work and the girl who had to stay and be the host was mad so she wasnt trying to do her job. The host was very unprofessional and i lost money and time that i put into the party. Never again will i have my kids birthday there
Kids loved pizza games and Chuck E!!
Kids had fun and didnt cost to much money
Salad bar a good addition but 9 dollars all u can eat salad buffet, nice upgrade in games...didnt try the pizza though
We attend CEC on their sensory Sundays, and its really great for us. Even though the overhead noise is off, its still about as loud as someone sensitive to noise can take and still survive. And of course, who doesnt love to play arcade games?
Need a bigger place for the amount of business they get
Not super happy with having to do 2 seperarate transactions for 2 beers and paying almost $5.00 for not even a whole handful of fries. The girl with the awful fake eyelashes wasnt friendly. Also no one even made sure we left with the right kid???!!
My grandson loves going there.
Overall it was a good experience. Staff members were friendly and helpful. There were lots of new games added recently. The facility was clean
Definitely fun. Not all the game give tickets when you have clearly won some but overall not a bad place to take your child
Great food really busy place. Had to knock one star off because they couldnt keep the tables cleaned for new people coming in.
Fun place for the kiddos!Kind of pricy!Hard for some parents to be able afford to take their children. If you lower income forget going!
I posted my long review on their FB page, in short the only good was the passes, but service, customers, tables and place was gross. But the kids had fun other than adults trying to steal my kids tickets
Fun games. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and untrained. They completely ruined the mood for many families.
This was our first time and probably our last. We reserved for a party. We got the package where the kids had 2 hours of unlimited play time, or so we thought. By time they made you do everything they wanted you to it was only 45 mins. So we paid 300 dollars to do what they wanted. Im not understanding why the kids couldnt play the entire two hours when thats what was paid for and did the party stuff at the end of that. So you pretty much pay ridiculous prices for things you dont even really get to use. I dont recommend doing this for a kids birthday. Also the servers acted like they didnt even wanna be there.
Fun day! Took my almost 3 year old there and she had a blast
I had a party for my son there yesterday and when I asked about deal the guy told me there wasn’t any deals now mind you I went to a Chuck E. Cheese in Chicago and there was a deal a week ago. Then I asked to slit my points on on different cards for the kids nope I couldn’t do that without buying separate cards but I Chicago they did it with o problem.. over this was a terrible experience in the Springfield area
Had a fun time with the family. Had a few games down and games out of tickets but other than that it was good.
It was nice, a little pricey for a kids place. Pizza was good for a kids place. Should offer more games.
Good pizza and fun for the kids but a lack of video games and kids are bored.
Staff in the Springfield Illinois location were extremely rude and the manager even called her boyfriend to the location to fight my 3 sons then threatened to call the police on us after spending $200 on a party where the pizza was ice cold and kids only got to play for 20 minutes when 2 hours were paid for....entire staff was rude and disrespectful....this is not a kid friendly place and Chuck E Cheese corporate should be ashamed of this location....will never return here even if its free for me....
Had a blast with my 7 yr old grandson..Chucky Cheese is still the place to be .
I love this place my kids most certainly always enjoy it
Went for a birthday party & lady that was assigned to us did a great job!
Fun and friendly family fun
Pretty cool place. Staff wasnt very helpful, they kind of acted irked that they had to work.
Theyve gotten a lot more games since I was there last! Kids had a blast!
Friendly and helpful staff. Chuck E was around most of the party!
Great gaming for kids. Service is terrible tho
We came to support a fundraiser for Feitchans School. The pizza was good! The place was pretty clean for as busy as it was.
Great atmosphere, kids had a great time.
The place was very clean and our host Jeri she was amazing and was on top of everything. She was very organized and she took care of everything I would highly recommend her to anyone planning on having a birthday party
Small place definitely needed updated upgraded but we had an okay time three of us one child two adults just shy of $200
Not that bad but not enough employees
Pizza is salty, but good, and the games keep the children entertained
It was awful.. food was cold people where mean .. I will never go back .. some awful people to be working with kids.. food nasty cold and over priced and mean to my kids .. dirty bathrooms also
Always come early, right when they open, avoid the insanity of bday parties etc.
Kids had a ball wasnt a lot of people
Kids had a great time
Wouldn’t even give this place a 1. We come here every year for my daughters birthday. This year however, will be our last. I’d rather take them to the dollar tree and let them shop for whatever they wanted for half the price I spent today. Half the games were out of tickets while the other half only giving you one to two tickets. While the games weren’t necessarily overpriced, it still pisses me off to watch them spend a point to get to press one button and get one ticket, all taking about a second. Then the prize counter! Again, dollar tree items for 3x the amount. Spent roughly $100 in 2 hrs for my kids to walk away disappointed, frustrated and with hardly anything for prizes. Pizza continues to get smaller and more expensive and the staff needs to spend more time cleaning. Will be taking my hard earned money elsewhere. This was a joke and a huge waste of money.
For Chucky Cheese, this seems to be a pretty good location. Ive been to many others that were pretty sketchy.
