This place is heaven for game geeks! Coin-op video games galore, the best pinball around, and a very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Game systems for sale dating back to the mid-seventies at great (affordable) prices. My Son (12 y.o.) and I stop in weekly to play video games and chat up the staff. They also have a great collection of dvds and some records too. We pick up 3DS games weekly. Stop in an avail yourself of the fun and their knowledge, you will not be disappointed ever.

After hours party rental, for grandsons birthday. Great way to bring back arcade memories, 40 old school video games/pinball machines with unlimited plays!

This is a cool little place that I’ve been to several times. The owner either used to run or still runs a booth at the flea market, too. Pretty reasonably priced and cool stuff. I haven’t been out here in a while. My friend and I tried to come out here last night and they were already closed. We checked both their Facebook page and their google page, both said they were open until 11. I understand if you’re closing early due to everything going on, but at least update your hours please. We both wasted 30 minutes driving out to Springfield.

Amazing experience my first time going there. I dont have many game stores in my area so this place is about a hour away but it was worth it. The owner was kind and helpful and we had a pretty good talk about game prices after my purchase. The selection is pretty solid compared to other stores Ive seen and they have a full arcade in the back! The only problem I had with them is when I bought a copy of Pokemon Silver for the GBC the save battery was dead when I was told that it should be good. With these old games however they are unpredictable XD.

Caveat Emptor. Purchased a portable console from here recently and assumed all was well. When I got it home it was filthy and would not read game carts. Of course they have a no refund policy at this store so I was stuck they only give you store credit. Make sure you thoroughy test any devices you buy from here. I can understand no returns on a $5 dvd but receiving broken untested and uncleaned consoles is unacceptable. Adding insult to injury the guy running the counter just seemed angry that he was being bothered. I would not waste my time with this store when there are many other options around with friendlier staff and merchandise in better condition.

Crazy huge selection of games, movies and music. Plus they have an awesome gaming arcade. Id say they are a way better option than GameStop.

I cannot state how much love coming to this place. The staff is always friendly and helpful. On top of that they have a great selection of movies, records, and of course reasonably priced video games.Not to mention the classic pinball and arcade games they have for you to play on. My personal favorite is the South Park pinball game. My personal goal is to kill Kenny every time I play it.

The arcade was dope, yo. Super huge selection of games, retro and modern, and movies of all ages. Their vinyl collection was heavy on Christmas albums for some reason, but now I know where to get my next Christmas party playlist from.

Been going here before it changed to Game Cycle. Used DVD prices are great. I like the arcade in back. They tend to have a half way decent stock of games but like most places you go to its always full of unwanted games. Some of their retro game prices tend to be higher than I like, but with millions of people doing it for the money rather than the love of the gaming industry. Prices have sky rocketed. But still a friendly place and I like going there looking for movies.

What an awesome place to be!! My thing recently is to hunt down movies from my wish list in (used) bluray. So as I have combed 100 mile radius most places are closing, but not this place. They have up their very own arcade, they sell hundreds of games and accessories for every game system ever made, in addition to several hundred movies on dvd for a few bucks each, and many bluray movies on my wantlist. My only complaint is that they havent shelved items horizontal (the way another store near UD campus does). I search through hundreds of movies and because I have to tilt my head at a bad angle to read the title of movies I always leave with a headache. The staff is super cool. They all seem to be walking encyclopedia of media, and are laid back and friendly as can be. I swear you could close your eyes and believe your at a friends house playing games!

Great local place I always go here first before places like game stop and Walmart, great atmosphere the employees always know about the stuff youre buying and are very nice and make you feel very welcomed and appreciated, plus the arcade is always fun to spend a few bucks on, and always a enjoyable experience.

A true museum, any game system you can think of they got it, and tons of media to match it. The most pinballs and arcade machines Ive seen in 5 county circle. Great staff as well! Oh and the prices are very good!

So many flashbacks. Fantastic selection of old arcade games. From 80s thru the 90s. I could spend hours in here playing classic arcade and browsing through the music/movies/console games sections. Could use some tidying up and elbow grease but a great place to check out.

The only spot to play pinball, they put all games on hard, as good as I am still wasnt able to make the game pop for a free game, and they dont change the rubber on the flippers!!! Keep in mind you need atleast 10$ in quarters to have some fun, disappointed in the owner not taking care of there games, only looking at the players as dollar signs! Extreamly disappointed

Super crowded now with an excess of arcade games. The prices have gone up, and the service standard gone down. I needed help, and after standing at the counter for several minutes, had to go outside to where BOTH employees were outside smoking. Not cool.

One of the best places in town to hang out. They have a great selection of products for nearly every game system. The manager Brett is great to chat with. The arcade is better than anything in Ohio, or most other arcades. Buy a roll of quarters and forget the next few hours of your life. You wont be disappointed.

Staff is great very knowledgeable and friendly great atmosphere fun games good prices and very great selection and they give you good trade-ins on gently used girlfriends I got top dollar for mine. Stopped in while in town recently and the staff was excellent. They had a few games Id been looking for at a great price,, and I had a great time on the arcade machines. Will definitely be back if Im in Springfield again.

This arcade is awesome, and the different system games are a great price as well. My kids love to go here, and I normally give them $5 each in quarters for them to be amused for an hour while I get to replay my favorite childhood arcade games, and play ones I have never even seen before.

This place has done a complete 180° turnaround since it changed hands to new ownership.This once was a store named video outlet that existed to rip off on trade ins only to mark them up a hundredfold. Since becoming Game Cycle, however, they removed the former adult film section and replaced it as well as most of the back of the store with an incredible vintage arcade which absolutely makes this place stand out in this city, seeing as how most gaming is now done inside, on the couch, while getting fatter and being antisocial in this era of progress.The store still sells movies at 1/2 the price they used to be at V. Outlet, games are still sold at a mostly cheaper and reasonable prices for more consoles than V. Outlet had supported, and they even sell vinyl, older publications, and even some relative gaming oddities such as vintage computer consoles and supplies, plug and play consoles, etc. Those these oddity items are not always guaranteed to be in stock, yet it is a nice touch to include such items outside of the mainstream of old school gaming while still catering to that mainstream crowd.I have never once seen a store change hands and become renovated into something as superior as Game Cycle is to what Video Outlet was before it. I only mention Video Outlet because it was a commonly hated place and apparently people are unaware that it changed into something much better that includes everything it did before and more at a more reasonable price and with more personable and helpful staff as well.The only thing missing is the... The dirty video section and if you are looking for that I guess you are still unaware that the internet exists or that there are stores where children dont shop that sell that smut. Not here though; since becoming Game Cycle this store has been classed up quite a bit into an honest business I would actually want to bring my kids to so they can experience the fun with arcade games that I once had when I was there age.Tl;Dr - everything about this store is great and superior to the store that existed before it at this location.

Ive never seen so many old school game systems on display with boxes that was cool! Arcade is a plus. I hate that they got rid of vhs tapes! Im pretty sure they used to have a nice collect of old wrestling tapes! Otherwise good selection. Worth checking out.
