It was fun, but i felt like there was not enough effort put into cleanliness. I would say 40% of people were running around not wearing masks, there was no way to sanitize or wipe off games unless you bought wipes from home and when I went to wash my hand the soap dispenser was empty.. my friends dragged me here and I honestly felt like it need to self-isolate from my family afterwards because I felt so icky. Fun places to go after the pandemic or if youre one of those who dont believe in science or viruses.
Their food is okay, we honestly only go there for gatherings and family/friends celebrations as the food is not even served hot/warm when we receive our meals. Servers though are always friendly and try to give good suggestions. Their floors and other areas are always quite dirty. We understand the gaming area, however, the dining area should be more sanitary. Could be cleaner and have better lighting.
Pie Rocks. Joel is my favorite. Great venue. Great drinks. Great food. 10 stars
Always fun! Terrible dining arrangement! You pretty much have to hunt for your own table. No waiting list or anything. Just stand there and stalk the people that are eating until someone appears to be finished....then pounce!
Took the kids... they loved it. I expected a so so menu similar to the mouse place but was pleasantly surprised. The food is really good and this is a great family place, but be sure to take advantage of their specials or it can get very expensive. Overall we liked it and well definitely be back again
Went there yesterday, service was slow but the server was really nice (hints the two stars ) overall visit was disappointing. The food was alright drinks as well but when it came down to paying, it sucked realizing that you just overpay for food and drinks that you can find somewhere else :/ I honestly dont know if I would come back again .
3 months ago I came to live here in Washington DC, I just went to see how the atmosphere is and I just enjoyed the arcades a little ... I need to taste their food to give you 5 . A Latino from El Salvador greets you and sorry for the little knowledge of English.
Poor communication, poor customer service.. hosts doesnt do her job well at all. The manager was rude..we waited an hr for service, finally Vanessa came to our rescue. Dont know her last name but she was the nicest person we encountered... if I could give her 5 stars I would...
Id give this place less than 1 star if I could. Staff (other than the young lady at the front desk) all seemed to really regret being employed there. After playing some games, we decided to get something to eat. All the signs in the dinning area said to see the hostess for seating (wed find out later it was seat yourself). There were no available seats in the bar area, and the dinning room area was completely vacant. After standing for a few minutes with multiple employees passing us by and ignoring us, we went to the bar to see if we could get a table or just order carryout. As soon as we approached the bar 2 male employees, who were standing on the opposite side facing us, immediately turned their backs to us and began to fiddle with the POS system. We stood there for about 5 minutes, talking loudly as well, they continued to ignore us and pretend to be occupied. We made eye contact with other employees, and they all walked past us. Worst customer service in the *Service Industry* weve ever experienced.
This place is super fun!! Great place for kids! But...The games are getting boring But service is always really good Thanks!(Tip) On wensdays the games are half off)
Birthday party at D&B ~ Children & adults had a great time. Good service, food....Will return
Was just what we needed as a family. A little food, a little competition and lots of laughs. Very clean everyone had masks. Super fun night. Thanks Yaw Yaw.
Amazing customer service, delicious food and I eat plant based (was pleasantly surprised how accommodating they were to my preference)
I love this place. Its so fun. However, they should add some new games because all the games are kinda getting boring
I give todays experience 5 stars!!!For an awesome dining experience, be sure to sit in Markels section. One of the best darn waiter I ever had! Hes courteous, attentive, very patient, and knowledgeable of the food and drink items. Dont forget to tip him greatly, you wont regret it. (Terry, give him a raise and/or promotion!) Thanks Markel!
Great place for your kids, family or even couples and
I love the games there. They are reasonably priced
Great atmosphere, great staff, I love that this D&B is adjacent to the mall. Amazing location and great choices of games.
A lot of fun, games were spaced out for covid. Everything was very clean.
D&B is in a busy part of town, so parking is tricky. We bought a pair of All-You-Can-Play cards for the kids and teens and they all had a blast. Cards are good for unlimited Blue light games, and if they enjoy ticket collecting... come loaded with $8 bonus play. Seating in the restaurant is quite limited, at the time, wait was over an hour. Bar area is first come, so settle in and get better than average service. Food combos are the way to go... Philly cheese steak sliders, chicken fingers and fries can feed 4. Add chicken nachos and you can easily feed 6. Local beers are very few but can score $4 Domestic 16 oz. on game day. Bar was out of two local taps, otherwise would have been a perfect score.
This place is good but the only problem is it kinda smells weird.
We arrived, requested a table, and were quoted about 40 minutes. Thats fine. We played games until our table was called. This is where the actual fun begins... We order drinks- they all arrive except a simple can of zero sugar red bull. After persistently requesting the can, we get it 30 minutes later. We then order our food. My friend and I had the idea to get two platters to mix&match. Our entire table received their orders expect for one friend (who I was sharing with). We share mine and constantly remind our waitress about the missing platter. 40 minutes later.... it finally came out to the table. We were done eating and had already requested our bills earlier. We had to wait an entire hour to get the bill, have our cards collected, and get them back just so we could leave. This was an hour from receiving the 40m late meal.Im going to have to call my bank after realizing an hour ago that I was charged double my bill after I left a cash tip and clearly wrote that on the receipt. My friend had a >$100 separate charge from here for some other reason and hell be dealing with that. Ill be calling D&B in a moment here to get all of my money refunded for the garbage service we received as well. Just looking at getting the food bill refunded. I clearly used the tokens and had fun. Took an hour to get the bill? Was she calculating her 120% tip? Who knows? This is the Springfield location, to be clear.
As always, very very very expensive to play any games. Food is over priced and average at best
Great atmosphere. Took precautions for COVID. Good way to have fun without breaking the bank.
I was here for a work gathering. The food was served in stainless steel warmers. It was varied and delicious. The drinks were provided with wearing a wrist band. The games were pay as you play. I ended up playing Dance Dance Revolution, air hockey, ski ball, and a zombie game in a magical booth. It was a really fun night and I would definitely do it again.
I like D & B. Great place to get together with some friends. You will lose track of time you are having so much fun down there. Good group of games. This place is good for both younger and older crowds looking for a fun game night or date night. Would recommend. We were treated very nicely even though the bar was busy the bartenders were very attentive. Its a little pricey but as expected.
Dont go for the food, its a half baked experience at best. Everyone in our party who ordered food had something wrong with their order and the turnaround time was LONG, we were there middle afternoon on a Sunday with more tables empty than occupied. The games however are top notch. They have some genuinely creative ideas, I personally loved red cup challenge (family friendly beer pong).
Fun games and good food but it took forever to get a table. We went there around lunch time no waitress at the reception counter and in the restaurant so we went to play the games first. We came back again and decided to go to ask a waitress who walked pass us for a table. Also, it took lots of time for my food.
Good place to take your kids to
Customer service was AWESOME. Wasnt a long wait for food or games
Super nice here and very accommodating with the corona virus going around.
It was clean and inviting, the food was delicious. Its for people who likes video games and loud noises. My grandsons birthday party was held here, it was nice. They and their friends enjoyed themselves thoroughly.
Its Dave and Busters so of course it was fun. I do wish the games didnt break as easy as they do and on a Wednesday they didnt even half of the prizes stocked. The service was good and the food was fairly appetizing for bar food. The table taps were pretty cool, you can be the bar tender at your own table.
Today I sat at the bar for a beverage and food. While waiting at the bar for 10min I was not asked by the bartender if I needed any assistance. After patiently waiting I yelled for the bartender to assist me in ordering a drink. Finally after ordering My drink I asked for menus. Once I decided what me and my guest wanted, The bartender did not come by once to ask if we were ready to order. After waiting patiently again I decided to leave. With all being said I would understand that kind of service if the bar was busy however it was not the maximum number of people sitting at the bar was 6. So the bartender was not busy or overwhelmed. I planned on later this evening bringing my family by to celebrate a birthday however I will not be after this kind of service. In
So this rating goes to the manager on duty not the whole establishment. Dont expect great customer service, dont expect help with their rewards accounts. Dont expect a simple bit of compensation when the staff fails to let you know what you are supposed to do to collect your points. Tyler was very unhelpful and wouldnt even try to be helpful. Be sure to research your first visit because if you actually decide to come back its too late to help.
My son loves it. Thats enough for me.
Love this place! Great for family outings
Great time. Customer service was exceptional.
Came here to have dinner, and we had to sit in the bar area. If I was there with children, that wouldnt have been ideal, but I wasnt so it was okay. The food is better than I expected, the sliders were smaller than I was hoping for, but they were good. The staff was friendly. Didnt play any of the games so I dont know what games they have that other D&Bs dont have.
I dont even know where to begin. Came to this Establishment to celebrate a birthday party if course for a child. This place served our children raw hamburgers that were super red. Service was slow. Waited well over a hour for 3 orders of buffalo wings in which after a hour I received 1 order of buffalo wings, 1 order of chicken balls, and my the other wings went to a whole different party group. They really messed up here. My question to all of the parents, would you serve your young child hamburgers that look like these???? This place should be shut down. This is definitely unacceptable.
Clean, friendly and the food was fast. Even with a Saturday full of people in there still easy to play games.
This is my first time to visit Dave & Busters.Upon entering the main entrance there is a service desk but no hostess. There was a printed message on the counter stating that this desk is closed. I decided to go to the right and enter into the lounge area. I asked one of the waitress if I need to be seated or can I sit anywhere. She said to pick anywhere and someone will be with me soon. A minute after sitting down a waitress stopped by to take our order. When the hot tea arrived we noticed that the tea bag had torn and the tea grinds were floating in the cup. I patiently waited for any waitress to come near the table so that I can have the tea replaced. I noticed that the waitresses would walk past and attend their tables then they would walk away looking down to the floor rather than looking around the room. Had anyone of them looked around I would have waived and ask for help getting the tea replaced. I waited a while longer and decided to walk over near where our waitress was standing at the end of the bar area. A male staff member immediately asked me to walk around the other side of the bar next time. I told him that I need to have my tea replaced. He asked me who my waitress is. I pointed to her since she was standing two feet away. He told me that she will be right there. I told the man that I should not have to come here if any waitress would have taken a moment to look around and see if anyone needed help. I gave the cup of tea to the waitress. She brought a new tea right away. The food arrived in less than fifteen minutes. We had the small steak and cheese with fries. The food was very tasty and the fries were crispy. The noise from all the video games was extremely loud and distracting. I walked to the restroom and I would estimate that each game was louder than 120 decibels.I gave four stars because the place is clean and the food is good.See the photos attached.
Always go during happy hour! 4:30-7pm(M-F) and 9-midnight (M-Th) you get half price cocktail drinks and shots, $1 off tall beers and $1 off glass of wine. Where else can you go to get a top shelf liquor long island for $5
Love having fun with the family
Been here quite a few times now, and overall Ive had a fun time! Its got a large variety of fun games to play, and most of them are actually not rigged. The prizes are good, albeit expensive, and sure you spend a lot of money but its a lot of fun with friends. An average of 35 dollars gives you a good few hours of entertainment, and if you choose games smartly you can get a good amount of tickets, too. I havent tried much of the food, but the sliders I had with a friend were great and the service is quick. Overall Id recommend coming here with a friend and with some cash, especially if youre planning to stay for hours on end.
So I havent been to any arcades in a while so I was not expecting much from this place. However, it was AMAZING, especially when you have friends. You can do all sorts of things. To make it better I suggest you get some food their it really completes the experience.Oh and it is great when you are with family and a lot of people
I love D&B! This place is pretty cool, but it is very, very cramped. Theres everything you could want from skee ball to 4-player shooters on a massive screen. Fun and family friendly, I just wish the games werent packed in so tight. Other than that, its a good time.
Great friendly staff.
SlowFood order incomplete, waitress seemed distracted.Sliders were cold, buns were hard. They tried three times to get it right, which they eventually did. However, it took so long we had to wrap everything up and take it home...JUST TO REHEAT IT.They attempted to comp us. It was kinda backwards tho.
Always have a greasy time here. Great food and drink specials on g to me days. Also great deals on games. A great place to get food an adult beverage and the nostalgia of an old school arcade spot
Good fun, not so cheap though for college students. Its 25 bucks for 125 or 135 credits which can net you about 11 or 12 games at the most, assuming you play only the expensive games. Otherwise a ton of fun, and Im sure even better with a couple #broskis with the bros.
I enjoy going to D&B for the games and having fun with the kids. Their food is pretty good, too. Its been hit or miss though. Ditto the wait-staff. There have been times when I wonder if wed been completely forgotten about, as we sat there for a half hour w/out any of the wait-staff coming to our table.I give this a recommend to do if youre interested in an adult friendly game room - but not if youre just dying for some good chow. There are as good or better places with better prices and better wait staff.
I booked a party room for my twins birthday. I would love to give them five stars but the whole event was kind a rocky. I will say that they made up for it with extra playtime cards which satisfied my guest but not me. The biggest problem was with communication from the corporate level who books the parties to the store site. I feel bad that I could not leave them five stars but I think that this should be addressed. Also I felt pressured to still leave a good tip for the servers; and though it was not their fault I still didn’t have a great event which I paid $$$ for.
We went specifically to play games. They had a lot of new 4 player games that were new to us but that made the night more fun because we could play games together. Air hockey was our favorite by far. Something fun we could all do together on a Saturday night.
It goes without saying that D&B’s are fun to visit. This one is kind of a mixed bag – food is good but the service isn’t great (even when tables aren’t full), and several games will take money from your card even when they aren’t working. The staff doesn’t handle it that great either (they follow you around and tap their card on games for the equivalent value you claim you lost from your card), which is kinda awkward. Will return since it’s close by, but it helps to have a proper expectation.
I loved the atmosphere and the amount and variety of games, but the reason I gave 4 instead of a 5 is because of some me children running around unattended. Im not sure on the policy of this if Dave and Busters employees can do anything about running as this was my first at any Dave and Busters. I know its a family place and there would be kids galore, but I was literally running into these kids because they were running around.
New Kitchen Manager. We had our company Holiday Party at the Springfield D&B December 2019. Amazing service and delicious food. We had 21 former members of the military with their plus ones and families. We kept the staff running but the staff managed to keep up! Food was both bountiful and delicious. We reserved a room so the comradery could roll, which it did and the teens could take off and play games. Best Holiday party ever! Everyone from the teens to the spouses had an incredible time!
Great place to play games. Some of the game machines need maintenance to fix the tilting, missing buttons, etc... It would be nice to have brief instructions on how to play some of the games instead of figuring them out during the first game. It seemed inconvenient to find an employee who can combined the points and credits on multiple games cards. I got a lot of pointing to send me to another location then someone who can actually help me. When I was there for a team building event, the employee assigned to our event was able to combine our game cards near the hostess table. When I went on Friday afternoon, I was told to go upstairs. Another thing that I dislike is upon walking into Dave and Buster from the 2nd floor entrance, we were greeted by a timeshare lady. She was very nice and friendly, but I came to play games, not buy a timeshare. The food at the teambuilding was not good. The BBQ was too dry. The Mac and Cheese was pretty good at first, then it was ok. Overall, it is a fun place to go, and look for great Groupon Deals.Updated: I had dinner at D&Bs twice already and the food is delicious. So much better than the food at the teambuilding. I recommend trying the Thai bang bang chicken, so crispy and spicy! I also really enjoyed the salmon, delicious! I would get both again.
Aside from fun games, they do allow you to custom order food for those with dietary restrictions.
It was fun, great location. I really enjoyed the VR Star Trek game. Im giving it four stars because one of the machines were playing by themselves when we swiped the cards
If youre looking for a whole day of indoor fun. I highly recommend this place, the kids will be exhausted. The new 3D Jurassic Park virtual machine is cool, but short for 5 bucks a view. Overall, this location was prefect as it was inside a mall so we shopped around and came back to play some more....
Great place to have fun. I usually visit this place with my children during the winter. They love going there!!
I am updating my rating of four stars from a year ago.I do not recommend eating at the restaurant. We were sat at our seat after a lot of confusion/chaos and had to then go to the bar to ask for a server after not being approached for a long while. Our food came very late. Lastly, the server could not be found to cash out, so someone had to - again - go and flag a team member for help. The server never once approached our table. Each time I visit, the menus feel like they are glued together by whatever sugary drink made its way between the pages. I do not believe I have ever had a clean, satisfactory experience dining at this location. The arcade itself is hectic and the mess of the dining area definitely bleeds onto the floor. That aside, for anyone considering going, never go in the evenings or on weekends. The crowds and noise are mindblowing (literally). Take the time youd waste waiting for a ride or your food and go to the Fair Oaks location.
This was my first time to Dave & Busters. It was much more kid friendly than I expected which is probably why they advertise on Nickelodeon. Service was great, drinks were reasonable. We will go back again.
Dave and Busters is awesome. Great games, great food, and awesome prizes for little points needed. They always have the food nice and hot and served quickly. One time my daddy and I went there and they said the food was on a delay, after 5 minutes later the appetizers and the main dish came out all at once. I didn’t know where to start! I had a fun time didn’t want to leave! I highly suggest Dave and Busters for fun, games, and great food!
The games are always working and if they are not they are quick to fix. The drinks are good, and definitely a great spot to have a birthday party or just go to have good time relaxing and playing some good games. For the birthday party they do have packages for hosting the party that includes food, a private room and game cards for everyone coming. That depends on locations so I would call and ask first.
Customer Service non existent.Arcade Machines, Music and TVs volume levels are up so high that a person has to yell to the person that their with.Sometimes I had to write down my concerns, food order or even a question i had about the business. Many of the staff members are absolutely and completely clueless about things that the company offers. Please make adjustments so others can enjoy this place so those who have disabilities and disorders are ABLE to enjoy.Thank you
No one wanted to work there. I even heard someone say, “I can’t wait to go home.” It was a fun time, but it was my first time there and the employees were not very helpful during my visit.
Don’t waste your time! They made us wait well over an hour to sit down and eat They had ample seating! The kids and the adults were hungry. We left and went somewhere else to eat! . Very disappointed in my first time here. I won’t be back
Ive been going to Dave & Busters for years and my husband and I love going, we usually go as a date, lunch dinner, drinks and some fun. The only thing I dont care for is kids. It gets overwhelming. They should keep it at 21 and over. I am disabled and kids running around doesnt help. I mean I love kids but thats what chucky cheese is for. ADULTS need their chucky cheese time. Other than that its a great and fun place, we love it.
Great time! Very few kids today so got to enjoy nearly all the games. Bartender was very friendly and prompt with the beverages.
Allways amazing, great time with wife and my nephew and niece. Great service and managers are allways on their prime. Plus is allways great when your team gets the Win. Thanks for the 3k and #howboutthemcowboys blessing and Happy New Years.
The service has gotten much better. This place is always a blast for the whole family. The food and drink selection is lacking and boring. Very few healthy or vegetarian options. The cocktails on their menu are super sweet an uninteresting. The food and drink are 2 stars at most.
We dropped in without a reservation for a walk-in party of 15+ people and the manager, Bill, treated us like gold. He was wonderful and accommodating and went over the top to make my sons 4th Birthday a success. Because of him, I would highly recommend this facility. The children and adults all had a blast and I was impressed above and beyond all expectations! My hat is off to Bill and his exceptional service!!
Some decent games. There was a cover charge when we went because of some UFC fight they were showing that we didnt even watch, but otherwise a decent place. I feel like they could use some different games though. It seems to be turning into more childrens stuff.
Dope place for families to hang out an spend time with each other or for friends to hang out an enjoy a few games. The prices can get a bit outrages an only had one bad experience with a new employee constantly swiping my card to close the check but my bank resolved the issue an my money was returned the next day
Went for late lunch, sat in bar area. Excellent service. Had the Philly Cheesesteak...very tasty. One note...should not dice the peppers, they fell out of the sandwich!
Dave and Busters Springfield is a tough place to be, management clash emotionally with employees and passively show aggression towards them. Management who have differences with staff look for ways to terminate those employees who they deem not of like minded and dont follow the same tone as they do almost day to day.Management and staff members such as Geo of Tech Services find ways to show there superiority. Geo shows new members of staff an almost barbarian way of executing certain members and shouldnt be apart of there team due to clashing cultural differences. Tyler will walk behind and stock certain staff members to add to reports of performance issues. So, you would be at his whim.Management and staff are miserable there; as all they seem to do is talk about there rough upbringing which gives you a scene of their misery which they are willing to share with you. they though; will not share any personal feeling of happiness or bond to new employees. Some of the white guest there are extremely racist too, they dont seem to intermingle and domineer over others who they feel are inferior. certain people such as the manager Tyler; will excerpt power from the typical hierarchy of society in America we see today (of white supremacy) and exact that power upon another minority who dont agree to the class structure with force. If you are a poorer class then someone else, you will feel that power vacuum there. So, beware. this place is not for the weak
Give the kids a wad of cash (on a card of course) to go have fun for an hour or two while you sit at the bar watching the game....always a good way to spend a winter lazy day. It is located in Springfield Mall. Entrances are on the west side parking lot and on the east side thru the mall.
Awesome time every time were there! Had a scare and lost our 2 year old for about 15 minutes, but the manager had her and kept her calm until we found them! Then, we had an issue with the prize center and called the manager (same one) to help and he resolved it very effectively! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dave and Busters Springfield, Va. This place is going to be a main hangout for me and my family!
Bar staff is bothered to serve you. Its like they are in prison doing hard time. The food is just as exciting. Great place for kids to have a fun time.
My server’s name was Brian and his favorite fun is traveling so I asked him where was the best place that you’ve traveled to and he said Pittsburgh because he loves the Steelers and I love the browns so we were cracking jokes. I may just come back to joke with him some more.
Play a game, have a drink, have a snack or a three course meal, have fun and unwind after a long week, or after a long day at work.
Fun place for all ages. Both my son and I were very entertained!
Come for the games, not the food and skip the mixed drinks! Great selection of games to play. The kids ran thru 170 tokens in about 30 min, each. Theres also no where to sit of you arent playing or eating. The bar...the SPORTS bar...like how do you not know if you have a rotating tap? And wheres the alcohol in the walk the plank? And they ran out of the light up ice cubes but charge full price for sprite with crushed ice. The seasoned fries are just salt and pepper. Just eat before you come.
I liked it because its a hub full of games and I also won the Jackpot for the Red Dropping Ball game. It was only about 840 tickets though. Food is mediocre and the very game I won a Jackpot on is broken. Drop all 50 within the time limit into the buckets but the machine also randomly drops balls with you touching the button. Its broken and they wont fix it. Been like that a year and definitely would have won the Jackpot constantly if it was fair
Came in with a large party because I thought D&B had pool tables. Come to find out yall dont. Def should be something to consider!
There are many broken games, but the game technicians are always very helpful. The food was great but high in calorie. Overall, I thought it was a wonderful date night, and though expensive, what isnt these days. For $125, we got an appetizer, several drinks, two meals, two game cards, and three hours of fun!
My family went 3 days in a row and Gabby was our server. Such a happy woman. And thank you for giving my baby boy some apple juice for his bottle
Really nice though crowded, and some machines do not work
This day I get that they were really busy but for the waitress to only stop by once and not come back, then a member of management passed by twice and did not look in my direction, I chose to leave. Its usually pretty nice there.
Terrible service and way too loud. Good luck getting served or even asked to take your order. Sat there for about 45 minutes not one server spoke to us. Definitely needs better management and employees who are there to work with the public. Don’t recommend this place. 2/9/2020
Good spot, hard to find parking. Was there for a party, had a great time, a load of activities for all ages.
Always a fun place to play some video games. Seems like a great place for kids birthday partys.
Awesome and fun arcade decent food and drinks. You can spend hours here and not realize so much time has gone by.
