Full network of trails hidden in the butbs!

Had a nice walk this morning, saw a couple of foxes.

A nice steam valley to walk through. Several steam crossings.

What a great stream valley trail. The stream looks like something from the mountains not heavily suburbanized Fairfax County. Just beautiful. Not strenuous and not very populated. Maybe on the weekends there are more but we felt isolated. Lots or connector spurs into the communities. Fairfax needs to be commended for their efforts. Truly a benefit for county residents. Our dogs had a good time too.

Pretty park, decent paths, offers activities for different ages

Born and raised in these woods. There are a hidden treasure in what is becoming a massive urban jungle around the DC metro area. There is a beautiful stream and plenty of wildlife (deer, foxes, rabbits, raccoons, possums, to name a few). So much to explore that you will soon forget that you are only a few miles from one of the countrys busiest interchanges!

There is no entrance or signage for this park and no public parking. To get to it, you need to park in the Hidden Pond Nature Center and hike one of the trails from there. We spent 30 minutes driving around the whole park looking for an entrance. Seems like a nice place, but we ended up staying on the paved path. Theres an average amount of poison ivy.

It s a hidden gem in Springfield, little pond lots of wood bridges and nice stream side trail for short hiking.

Just beautiful. A great little get away for DC residents.

The stream runs through the back side of Hidden Pond and goes for quite a ways. The are a lot of neat things to see from fish, to turtles, to other animals.

Hard to find, Google maps leads you to a residential cul de sac. No other map leads you directly to it, spent 1 hour when it shouldve taken 20. Do not recommend.

Great for trail running near DC.

Beautiful walk on the Cross County Trail (CCT) ! Go all the way down to Saratoga!
