This was one of the best places we went to in our 2 days in Springfield! I loved the high school section, all the games, especially the race car as you could play Forza in it! I really liked the football game where you had to throw the ball through a hole to get points. The exit was just as good, we went on a side walk that had all the statues, I really liked all the sports jerseys that were in the building, they showed lots of history. 5 stars for sure, will be coming back when we go to Springfield again.

This place is spectacular no matter your sport its here. From bronze statues outside to a variety of paraphernalia and facts inside. Baseball to wrestling and everything in between. If you havent spent the day here, youve definitely done yourself a disfavor if youre any kind of sports fan. Two floors of Missouri Sports History is a must see for every person who has been involved in sports, whether an announcer/commentator, spectator or participator.

This was my 3rd trip to the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame and my wifes first. Surprisingly, we practically had the place to ourselves on a Saturday afternoon. That just gave us more time to take in the many displays on Missouri sports (at a very reasonable price of just $5 per adult). You will find exhibits on many different sports, with baseball, football, and basketball having the greatest emphasis, but theres also smaller displays on sports such as NASCAR, tennis, horse racing, and branches of sports such as broadcasting, coaching, officiating, and sports medicine. And since we were able to take in a lot of information found there, we were very surprised to see people with ties to our high schools (from which we graduated 10+ years prior) sports teams in the hall. The Hall of Fame was definitely the highlight of our trip to Springfield, and if youre a fan of any of Missouris 5 pro sports teams or its college teams, it just may be the highlight of yours too.

Good place to see sports history. Went there to meet Ryan Howard. Couldnt get his autograph because of the crowd around him. Would recommend they go back to the way they used to let you get autographs by going to their auditorium and having them sign your memorabilia.

Almost a 5 star. Sculptures are outstanding. A close look by staff to see if signage could be improved on some displays of people. Sports attic and outdoor statues were our favorites.

Fun and interesting place to visit especially if you are a sports nut! Something for everyone, even sports widows! Worth coming to visit again as they change and add displays often. The staff member was new but still extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Take a couple hours or so to see exhibits upstairs and downstairs and bronze statues in the garden.

I love sports and everything that has something in common with sports activities. The museum is an excellent place for anyone who wants to learn something new about the greatest athletes that ever lived and played and had major impact on Missouri sports history. Every real American citizen who lives in Missouri should visit the museum with his family! It made me really proud.
