Our first family visit was a short one. We had been out exploring all day and it was close to dark. We grabbed some pizzas and headed here hoping to find some picnic tables and we did. We had time to check out the pond and it was pretty cool. Well kept little area. We plan on taking the kids back to explore here when we have more daylight.
Nice space for a socially distanced party with lots of picnic tables, 2 bbq grills and easy parking. Just one flushless portapotty, though.
Fantastic place with old threes, nice dirt bike loop trail .
Tiny Pump Track. Park is nicely tucked into wooden area close to highway.
Quiet and peaceful with very few people there.
It was a little messy as far as leftover party litter but overall pretty nice and nobody was there so we didnt feel stressed
Love the little pump track here
The pond and flora are very pretty. But because the trail around the pond is only a half mile, you have to walk around it several times to get any kind of a workout. The view from the dam is best. Half of the trail is paved and the other half is a natural surface. The side trail that connects to the Cross County Trail is unmarked and very rugged. Its a 10 minute walk from Brookfield Pond to the portion of the Cross County trail north of the Bryon Avenue park, but be advised that the terrain is difficult to navigate and likely to be muddy.
Enjoy quote relaxing mot crowded area
This is a scenic neighborhood park with an open pavilion and playing field. It has been renovated recently to improve the pond. A nice peaceful quiet setting to walk you pet and relax.
Great local park with a bicycle pump track that is perfect for kids and adults to learn on.
We walk here a lot as is in my neighborhood..a quiet place to enjoy nature esp early & late in day
Beautiful neighborhood park!!
Pretty nice, good place to take a break from home
Its a small park with a pond and a picnic shelter.
Very nice park . Watch out for the homeless.
Great spot
Parking here seems to be chaos... here is a little tip though... forget trying to park in front and drive around back of the mall. There is plenty of parking hidden away there and they have walk throughts.
Great place for family and kids
Dont recall being there
Ok
Entrance and parking are on Floyd and Dickerson.
There are many trails here. Getting to this location is a hassle though
