This is a modern, well-lighted, comfortable, fun regional museum with a large Arkansas themed gift and book shop. Oh yes, and very informative with a friendly and helpful staff! There are artifacts and wall graphics and old photos and interactive exhibits galore, plus an old barn and several historical buildings outside. Old music plays on an antique radio and a must-see is the video and exhibit on Ed Stilley and his ingenious homemade guitars. His story is awesome and spiritually uplifting! It was a nice day trip for us and I think well go back.

Excellent Campus!!!Clean. Staff were very friendly and informative. The day I attended, they were having a wildlife presentation on Turtles. After the presentation, we proceeded to tour the other displays that are posted about the facility. After the tour, it was rather refreshing to learn something new about the State of Arkansas, that not many others know.I recommend contacting a Staff Member at this location, about upcoming events or presentations.

Enjoyed my experience! Lots of old farm equipment, 1960s & 70s memorabilia, tons of Arkansas & UofA info and awards. They even have a gift shop with lap harps, flutes and some kind of mouth or tongue instrument! So interesting! I will definitely be back! Fascinating place!!!

Great museum for donations. Its rather small but just enough to keep me entertained for an hour or 2 hour. Probably would be good for young kids as it has outdoor buildings to look at as well.

They preserve and showcase our local history and culture so very well. Their staff is highly knowledgeable and friendly. This local gem of a museum just gets better each time I visit, inside and outside. Great outing for the family, school field trip, or solo for either short or lengthy visits. Their education department is top notch. Whether you are from NWA or new to the area, there is something new and interesting to see and learn at Shiloh!
