Nice little park, lots of grassy areas for playing, yoga, what have you, and a paved loop to walk on. Fun playground and swings Really cool ducks hanging around. This park is centrally located by a public pool and library.

The pond is a big Improvement since they added the concrete edging. There is still some slime buildup along the north edge but it is better than before and there is still plenty of goose droppings. The pond is stocked regularly but so many people fish there and so the pickings can be slim but some nice sized cats can be found.

I love Murphy’s Park because it’s beautiful and has many geese to view. The park has great playgrounds & walking trails. I have great memories here from the public Library 19 years ago too the picnic my ex wife & I shared the end of last week.

Looks much nicer since the renovations. The pond is clean and the location is nice. It is a good place to go and relax.

Beautiful park with small lake, water feature, and swans. Great place to bring your lunch and enjoy a nice view.

Had lunch with my sister Dena from Zaxbys. It was a great experience. Many people enjoying the weather.

One of my favorite places to go in town. The geese and ducks are fun to watch.

I remember going here when I was a kid, feeding the ducks & playing. But, now there are hardly any ducks & the pond is so dirty. There is so much trash in the pond & its got a kind of creepy vibe to it.

The ducks and geese are my favorite part of this park. We took my grandbaby to feed them and she loved it. (Please give them seeds, not bread)

What was springdale thinking when they redid this place. its not near as good as is was when i was a kid. SMH

NICE PARK....FEEDING HOMELESS.....

We took out fast food to Murphy Park. It was a nice park. Eventually, when things calm down, there are many things to do. Swimming pool, playgrounds, walking areas, etc.

Kids loved the playground ... Went when they had family day great activity set-up, great people..

This park has everything! Beautiful Lake with ducks and geese. Water fountains in the pond. Fishing is allowed with certain limitations. Huge Park. playground area for kids. Picnic tables for families or groups. Bathrooms. Lots of walking and playing areas. We had a great time there!

I dont like how they removed the trees, but its still beautiful. They only have one pavilion with several other places to cookout with your family. Love how they cleaned up the pond. Great job... I wouldnt mind having a machine that would allow you to purchase bird feed since feeding them is not permitted.

They have cleaned it up nicely. People need to respect barricades. Endangering others shows a gross disrespect for others.

My childrens loved it. They had an amazing time and their dad and I enjoyed the pond with ducks. The only downfall is lots of bird poop everywhere near the pond, but the play area was great! We will be visiting again on our next trip

This park is a great place to go and relax. Its located right next to a water park and a library with food such as KFC and McDonalds in walking distance. If you just want to relax you can grab a book at the library that is also within. Walking distance.

This is a really nice park beautiful greens and landscape and the small pond Lake is a nice attraction with the fountains. But oh by the way those geese that you see in the photos they are everywhere! The walkways are nice Unfortunately they need Park staff to attend to it more often as those little critters seem to leave their mess behind everywhere! Kind of makes you not really want to walk through the park with all the bird do-do everywhere.

Such a beautiful park. Lota for the kids to do. We feed the geese. We walked. The kids played on all the toys. This summer the water park opens and ita great. I recommend thia park to everyone.

Let me begin by saying I grew up in Springdale, lot of memories playing in the park . Am very upset at the trash and homeless people in the park .

Great amenities, great location, concerts are fun and free. All around wonderful community amenity.

Been going around Murphy park of and on for 40 years or better. Ive seen it up graded several times in my life. Its always been a great place for all different kinds of things. A good place to take your kids to play on the playground and feed the ducks. Good fishing. A really nice track to walk on for exercising. Clean bathrooms and a large swimming aqatic pool there as well. A really nice library and lots of picnic tables for lunch and a family day out with McDonalds and K F C next door as well. There is even a youth center there as well. Murphy Park has everything you need for the whole family to have a fun day at the park or even just go and get some fresh air alone to relax our mind from a hard week of work at the office. It has wi-fi access and plenty of parking. It even has a transit bus that runs every hour for anyone in need. Murphy Park is defiantly a thumbs up public park. Fun for all. Well kept clean and safe for your children to play and have fun as well. To me, its as good as it gets for a park that families can spend time together and enjoy there time.

Beautiful park, clean

Always a pretty spot for a walk or to let the kids run out some energy. Weve done a little fishing in the pond. Game and fish do a wonderful job keeping it stocked and its always fun to watch the kids land any size fish. I enjoy feeding the ducks and geese that congregate there too. It is well patrolled by Springdale police so I always feel like the kids are safe.

Its a pretty Park however confusing to me were the no fishing signs posted around the lake. They clearly allow fishing according to the sign in front of the parking lot.

I wanted to see ducks. There were lots of ducks which I loved. However, there was also dog poo all over the walking trail. The park itself wasnt clean.

Has everything besides it needs to open the play area

Really love this park! Its always clean and nice. However, the last two times I have gone, there were people smoking in the playground where my kid was playing. Maybe a no smoking sign would be beneficial for the playground? I really dont like smoke blowing all over us when were playing. I know this isnt a fault of the park or the Springdale Parks and Rec department but I think a few no smoking signs would be helpful.

This is a great spot to fish or walk around the paved trail. Its right beside the library so we often make it a full afternoon outing with the kids. Love the remodel.

Massive park with absolutely stunning landscaping. The kids play castle is absolutely fantastic very little noise pollution from traffic or screaming children, so the birds sing sweet tunes ️

They need to add a skatepark

Took my daughter to fish for the trout that AGFC release every year, it was NOT safe. The city really needs to do something. Homeless people walking around in hospital gowns and no shoes on. A drunk guy with a 40 oz (beer) walked up and was trying to take pictures of my kids and then went and sat down by the pond uncomfortably close by and drank his beer. Cops driving around everywhere but none bother to come walk through the park. Not safe

You may want to consider staying away from this park after Dark
