It is a very huge green land space, with trails, trees, paths, a activities for all. So we chose it to honor our fellow model in the I Am Fearfully and Wonderfully Made Fashion Tours unexpected death. The balloon release in her honor was a blessing to each person present. Thanking God for His earth and nature, thats free for use

In our effort to explore a different park each weekend that we possibly can, today we parked by the Barbara Bush library and started our walk at Collins Park. We followed the path through the woods and around the pond to Meyer Park. I’m not sure how far we walked but it was a solid hour and a half at a good pace. Loved seeing so many other Houstonians out enjoying this gorgeous summer weather!

Bike trails are great! Starting from the parking lot you can warm up on the trails right next to it, then as you go further in, they start to become jumps, and some fun dips. I recommend for any level!

This is a nice little skate park. There is a prefect mini ramp at one end. It also has a small pyramid in the middle with a rail one side, and a small quarter pipe on the other side of the pyramid among with a box. Theres a stand alone rail on one side and a stand alone box on the other side along with a quarter that goes from about 6 feet to about four feet on the opposite side of the mini.

This is a huge park with miles and miles of hiking and mountain biking trails (you will need a helmet). There is a playground for the bigger kids and one for the little ones, a skate park, lots of covered pick-nick areas with grills. The park is dog friendly as long as they are on a leash. Many baseball and softball fields as well as soccer fields and a volleyball net in the sand. Nice friendly atmosphere that is great for kids. The mountain biking offers easy to hilly terrain that looks like loads of fun.

Great park. Good paved walking trail along Cypress Creek. This will be closed for food control district repairs from 1/2/20 until June or August 20. The district will reconstruct and strengthen the creek bank and remove the exposed piping. If you want to go for a longer walk, Id recommend walking into westerly direction towards Meyer Park.

This park is a hidden gem. I almost dont want to review it so it stays hidden. There are wide open spaces to run and play. Several play areas for varying physical abilities and one is covered obstacle course style. Theres a covered volleyball area and chess/checker board tables. Theres a great skate park with ramps of varying sizes. A walking trail meanders along the creek to a scenic pond area. Plenty of parking, this place is great!

Nice clean lark with a playgrounds, soccer fields, and basketball courts (but last time I was there the courts weren’t open). There is a good toddler playground and a larger one for older kids. There is a path that connects Collins to Meyer Park along the creek; it’s a pretty hike but a little long for small kids without a stroller.

Nice facilities EXCEPT for parking. Was there for another girls softball tourney and parking for participants and family were limited at best. There is a church next to the facility that allows for overflow but on Sunday it is a bit of a problem for the Sunday worshipers as they themselves have to find a place to park. Would have given a higher rating but for the parking.
