This was a really neat display to drive through and enjoy the music dancing to the lights. The water park would have been nice this past summer, but Covid happened....
Went for Christmas Lights. It was great. Stayed in the car and just drove through slowly while tuned to their short wave music. Great and not too much $. Cheaper slightly to pre purchase online.
This was the first time my family visited this place. The display was nice. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed it.
We had a blast! Got tickets relatively cheap. We got there as it opened so we were able to beat the crowd and enjoy ourselves before the longs lines started. Would definitely go again :)
Long lines. It took 2 hours in total. 40 to 50 min drive thru, and the rest was driving in line on the main streets with other drivers cutting in and out of the lanes cause in problems. All in all. The light show was good. Loved that it went to music. Hated the horrible lines. They need to have police out there directing traffic and there wasnt any.
The lights were great! But th music is from Frozen movie then it wasnt Christmas. If they play just Christmas music would be perfect.
Checked out the Holiday Lights and the children loved it. The lights match the music and they allow you to play it as loud as youd like. Good experience!
Great atmosphere and family fun. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I would recommend purchasing a souvenir drinking cup where you can get free drinks on all your future visits for the season. The rides are great, but there may be some lines depending on when you decide to go. I have found that Tuesday, Wednesday, snd Thursdays are best for less crowd.
We actually came for the Lights at the Park. It was worth every penny we paid and the show was awesome.
It was a very beautiful esperience i liked it a lot and it gave me great joy to hear the children .made a very nice arrangment with the lights thank you.
Very nice Christmas light festival of lights with synchronized music, my granddaughters and I had a nice time driving through the lights.
Went to The Light Park. It was a bit pricey, but well worth it.
Right now they have a light park, def. Worth it! Very beautiful!!
The employees here love to help you. Employees are positive, patient, and pleasant while they help you thru the process.
45.00 for a 10 min dive..... but the light show is good
Sure wished you had been open this summer as we always have a season pass with our grandkids.
This water park is set right in the middle of the city, literally across the street from the freeway. It is a smaller water but surprisingly has alot to offer. There are places to have parties, there is a sand volleyball court, and a cafe. Speaking of food, this Wet n Wild Splashtown is really strict about entering the park with outside food and drinks. You CANT bring any of that in with you....no, not even water. There is a lazy river, small kids splash pad area, and lots of water slides. The ticket prices are a bit high. They average about $50 per person, even the young kids. Its still a fun place to visit.
Do not waste your time going to the light show, it us only 19 minutes long, and you have to wait 2 hours in a car with screaming kids, and no access to restrooms. The biggest waste of time ever.
Great place to visit lots of fun for the whole family.
This is the spot in the Northside of Houston to come and relax, catch some sun rays, and cool off for the summer! So glad this place exist up here on the Northside of town. Has lots of great rides, wait lines arent too bad either, great play area for kids of all ages. Staff is friendly and helpful with the kiddos. Facilities are clean and mainted well. Some new rides are in the works and cant wait to try them out.Plus they have some cabana areas right next to the bar !
Very nice. Grandkids loved it.
Definitely beautiful just the waiting on line was the worse part,it took as 55 min to get in even tho we had the tickets purchased already
Light Show was beautiful!
The park has tacken a turn for the worse. Food line are ridiculously long all the time, and the food is not even that good. I waited in line at a taco stand just to find out they ran out of taco meat. So I went to a different restaurant in the park and my six flags dining pass was invalid due to not being scanned at the front gate. The guest services center had no idea what they were doing. Just to top it all off when we were leaving we were blocked in the dimond parking lot! The rides are fun but the service is not!
Love this place. Also love the fact that our season passes cover all six flags parks. Fairly priced and surprisingly clean for how many people they draw in. Weve been here for 2 years now they have plenty to do for all ages.
Place would Look great if y’all wouldn’t make everyone wait over an hour for food and then run out of it when you finally make it there. Then there’s no ice, drinks at most of the “hydration stations “ and let’s not forget the smell of urine when you not even by the bathrooms. Not worth the yearly membership. Staff has no sense of urgency. And since Six Flags took this park over I can tell you it’s definitely not like it was when wet n’ wild ran it. I guess Six Flags is likes to keep low expenses and doesn’t care about customer service and runs out of everything. And open the bathroom next to the kid pool. Ridiculous!
Had really great time with grandson.
Best Water Park In Houston Texas. Best Ride line up . This park improves every season. Great staff and the food selection is nice.
This place is only doing membership orders. The employees here love to help you. Employees are positive, patient, and pleasant while they help you thru the process
This is the first time back after 10 years. We took our grandkids and they had a blast. While this is an older park it has been maintained well. Six Flags just took it over and is renaming and renovating the park. The staff was very nice and the park is better than it was many years ago. We have the Six Flags Membership at the Platinum Level for the cost of Gold it was a deal in the Spring of 2019. It is good at all Six Flags parks and has already paid for itself with our visits this year.
My 1st visit memorial weekend and it was fun! Friendly staff, food was good. Im not digging the diamond program although it has alot of benefits I just want to go and have a good time without all that red rope stuff! If your not a diamond you have to walk back threw the water and go around the rocks just to get to the other side. Once I got the hang of it, I avoided all VIP sections.
I got the discount ticket from corporation. Only 25 dollar per ticket. Not a big water park but was a good way to spend a summer day
Great place for the whole family so much fun, think the management should provide shower/bathing areas & increase the benefits of the daily pass just a littleBut it was worth the cash spent & security was good too
Been several times its very fun for the kids however they seriously need to do better when it comes to food. Lines are long and too many employees can be observed talking and goofing off. Mabey just better training on customer service and good luck if you want ice cream or dipping dots for your snack as they seem to almost always be sold out. If your going to have 2 people taking orders then also have 2 more people running to get the orders and have your cooks on top of the food demand. Cashiers shouldnt be doing anything more than placing orders and refills.
My family and I had a blast here. We will be back again next year
Hurricane Harbor Splashtown is awesome. So glad Six Flags bought this location because we can actually afford to go. We have the memberships which we pay monthly for and we can go to any six flags and hurricane harbor. Kids absolutely enjoy it no matter what age they are. They have a little kids area (6 and under), a pre teen area that has a treehouse and of course the teen /adult rides, wavepool, and lazy river.
Nice. I loved the experience
I am blessed to have the opportunity to come to a place like this specially see my little on happy makes me happy. and enjoy the beautiful little things life gives us. Simply enjoy make the best of it.
I been calling for a few months and Im not been able to talk to a real person, I call and email and not answer.
We love taking our kids here!
My whole family had a blast here. We will be back soon.
The best place for this summer 2018. Love it ! Greatest prices, staff, maintenance, everything!!!
Really goodthis experience was from 2019 the food there was better than other water parks nothing changed just the name but its better
It was very fun on a very hot day but I mean only for those who are very big fans of water and so on...also prices for snacks and stuff like drinks are a bit too pricey...
Affordable family, didnt like we cant bring food in the park tho.
Great family fun! For toddlers, go to the treehouse! Long lines but super fun. Worth the tube rental. Rent a locker but get there early or youll only be able to get a tiny one. We had to rent two. A bit expensive but we bought a membership so its more economical. Well definitely be going back!
Great fun!! The only thing i feel they could use more of is restaurants. Had a blast with the kids!
The light show was nice
Bring some sandal the floor gets very hot in summer. Will burn your feet. But everything also is alright. Good place for family. Easy parking.
Fun times!! Good spot for the older kids. I highly recommend getting a season pass or a membership if you plan on going more than once a season. They have different membership levels and you can pay it out over time. It good bargain. Also get the food pass, youll save money in the long run. Have fun and remember lots of sunscreen!!
It was cool... Just very EXPENSIVE
Would have been 4* but since Ive been here the past couple of days after getting a season pass along with my family there are occasionally a few areas that are closed which in turn makes the other rides or play areas more packed and require a longer wait in line along with a shortage of staff or unnecessary concentration of staff. It is very fun and my family and I get season passes yearly because its a great place to relax or unwind while cooling off, and hopefully these standing issues will be resolved.
I would class Wet n Wild as a must visit if you happen to be in Houston in summer time (unless you dont like water). There are tons of slides to use for all levels, ages and to do solo or with other people. If you like getting some adrenaline rush Id recommend the Tornado and ultimately the Free Fall and The drop, being the latter the scariest of all.The staff are super friendly and chilled.A bit of a down side is the waiting for the slides, when it gets crowded its about 15 mins queuing but overall its just out of this planet.
It was an awesome experience for the kids!!!
$20.00 to park your car in their lot. I have never paid for parking at a water or amusement park before. No food or snacks of.any kind allowed in park. I guess I should be grateful they allow bottled water. If you want to float the lazy river you have to rent the tubes. No rides just a bunch of slides some of them are cool.
Bought season passes and I’ve been three times now. Each time I bring a guest and it’s always been free. I’ve had a great time with friend and this past time I brought my kids.My kids are 14 and 6... both of them had an amazing time. And the lines weren’t too long to make them bored or anxious... my 6 year old was y’all enough to get on all the slides that we tried.I had a refillable cup for drinks and so we used that. Food lines were pretty long so we tried the slushy line instead. Had to pay for refills 5.40 but we didn’t mind... overall a real blast for the kids and I.We’ll go again soon. ️
The kids loved it!
Needs a few more shaded areas where the seats are and outside where the picnic area is! There was no shade at all outside the gate. Other than that it was a great time and worth the price. I love what six flags has done with the place!
They dont have a lot of free seating, so we paid for an overpriced Cabana. They definitely need some work on customer service if they are going to continue with their high prices. We are season ticket holders to Six Flags, they didnt care.
I had a fairly pleasant experience here, but the park is very small. Tickets were about $40 and you have to pay $10 for parking. Food options are of the junk food variety (chicken tenders, burgers, pizza, etc.), and you can purchase a refillable souvenir drink bottle like the one in photo. Be sure they put an orange band around it though because that’s what tells cashiers to give the free refill on the day of original purchase ($1.50 throughout the season).
Fun for the whole family! They have areas for all age groups! But id recommend eating befire you come because a simple ice cream cone is almost $6. But i take my toddler here all the time, if your kids like water as much as mine id go for the season passes they are more than worth the money.
This place was awesome! But they do need more life jackets for children took me 30 min before i was able to get my kids in the water. The staff was very helpful as well
Christmas Park lights getting into spirit
My kids enjoy coming to this water park. It’s really a fun time every time we’re here.
Love spending time here with my kids and husband. The only thing id recommend is adding more food spots. The few they have get packed fairly quick and the lines move slow. But other than that we always have a blast.
They had fun, thats all that matters
Weather shut down park before we arrived...no refund or raincheck!! We paid for our tickets last night...almost $300. Got to park and rides are shut down. They opened them for 20 mins and shut down again but for an hour this time. Kids want to go home and we wasted $300 and cant get a raincheck or refund. Bad experience for my family. We were considering season .passes but after this probably wont come back. And we spent $80 to eat while waiting for them to reopen. 2019 seasonSo my family decided to buy season passes this year due to the experience we had last year so far weve been a few times and the kids enjoyed it except for the couple of times that the park has closed due to thunder today we decided to eat at Applebees to get free passes so that our friends could get in for free. As soon as we got into the park, the rides were shut down due to thunder. So we need to drill we waited 2 hours and the park decides to close because it started raining after 2 hours. Needless to say, we went to the front desk to get our free passes back and they refused to give us rain checks or allow us to come back with our friends after driving an hour to get here and going through all the trouble of eating at Applebees they told us that Applebees is responsible.? How? We did our part by eating at Applebees. They did their part by giving us our free passes. We gave the passes to Splashtown and we are told that the Parks closed we didnt even get in the water the manager told me to take it up with Applebees because they will not rain check our passes. I literally hate this place now
Very good! I went with a friend and it was amazing! Especially for my first time. The life guards are very responsive too and they do care for you once your out of the water (especially when its your first time even going into the water thats about 8 ft deep) Id recommend learning how to swim but its fine if you dont know because the lifeguards (and I quote) got your six.
We liked Hurricane Harbor, however they could work a lot harder on the variety of food they offer. There are no healthy options. Fried Chicken tenders w/french fries, buffalo wings, loaded nachos, fried dough and I forget the other option or two. Thats about it along with a kiosk of Dippin Dots. Either add healthy options for food or let people bring their own. Also, the people making the food at the bar by the surf ride were duds too; not friendly, barely spoke two words, and when speaking you had to strain to hear. Its a good thing we didnt go to Hurricane Harbor for socializing. I would recommend putting some friendly, bubbly people at the bar instead.
Im not happy with this park at all! Very unorganized, not so clean, too damn overpriced, and overall confusing. None of the staff are on the same page, everyone says something different. The memberships are a waste of time at this place! None of the perks apply at this park, so why have them? The lines for the rides move too damn slowly! 30 minutes in line for a 20 second ride! This parks needs to get their s*** together asap
We had never gone before, but a friend convinced my wife to get season passes for the kids for the summer. We got the meal option as well and I gotta tell you, after three visits, we definitely got our moneys worth! Would definitely do this again!. The food is surprisingly good and the park has so many things to do. Id give it five stars if it didnt have so many rides out of commission this year - I know they are trying to up their game but in the meantime...
Hadnt been here in years. Cool rides. A bit expensive, bit if you buy the passes its more affordable.
Open the Texas free fall again and I’ll give you another star! We were members last year and many of the rides and attractions were closed each time we visited
Os perfect play I love you!
We had fun, but the staff is not very friendly. They dont have a lot of free seating, so we paid for an overpriced Cabana. They definitely need some work on customer service if they are going to continue with their high prices. We are season ticket holders to Six Flags, they didnt care.
This place is great but has a smell of dirty sewer drains, but overall kids loved it!
Got the membership so headed out on a Sunday. Never again. They were out of membership passes so we were given some temp card. Lines are super long. Over an hour for everything: rides and food. Ive never seen it this way. Six flags offers payment plans for memberships so more people are able to go. Memberships include dining passes now, so people are at the window with 5+ orders. Theres only 1 restaurant still so we never got to try the food. We also have a cup for unlimited refills but refill stations were either completely empty or out of ice and only 2 or 3 drinks available. Hopefully six flags builds more dining options. This place is still an ok option for the membership price, Ill just go during the week from now on.
Its a really nice place to cool off. The only issues I have is that the diamond areas are really small so its hard to get a spot in there sometimes. That and I still havent received my membership card. They just keep telling me next week or a couple of weeks from now. Eventually the season will be over and I wont have a card. I dont like taking my phone with me to the water. Also if you get a lanyard. Dont use it. Cards fall out way to easy on it.
Nice water park with several attractions. But about 6 of them were closed due to renovations. It would have been nice to know which were closed online. Also you have to rent a tube for $6 and keep it for several of the rides. Allows more space for the park but highly inconvenient to carry around all day.
Great light show
Still a fun time after all these years! I remember visiting when I was a kid, now we bring my littles every summer. The little kids area is great and the park itself is small enough to feel like you can do it all in one visit. My only gripe, really (other than typical park gripes about $7 soft drinks) is that the signs are not clear enough throughout the park about who is allowed on each ride. I ended up having to run back down a big slide because my kid was sent down alone when we were expecting a lap rider situation.
Easy to find, easy to get in, lots of places to run and play for the kids. Good food of you dont mind waiting in line. I recommend the lunch pass or dinner pass as they call ot. Its worth it. Free food. Can use for other things. Please go . Well worth the time and money.
We visit this location often. Its smaller than the other Hurricane harbors probably because it was recently bought out by Six flags but the water park is fun and if you get there when they open, its not packed. The food is good. Wish the add a few more food places because the lines can get long but overall, we love coming here.
Great on safety, but best slides were closed. Wait times pretty decent. Overall pretty good. Very family friendly lots of play area for kids and toddlers. 3ft and shallower pools plentiful.
They have kids with smart mouths and nasty attitudes working at the nacho stand. I have experienced this more than once and with different workers. Many of them are having their own conversations and act like a customer is interrupting them. I will say the indoor eating place has made a line for diamond elite members and that is nice. Not much waiting.
The place was so much fun. Me and my family really enjoyed it. The one thing could be change is letting women in with a thong bathsuit of any kind. I feel kids shouldnt have to come to a water park and have all that flashing in there face. Other than that we had a great time. Thank u.
Splashtown is a very fun and family friendly water park that I would recommend to anyone that lives within a one hour radius of it. The slides are very fun and the maximum that you have to wait in line on a bad day would be about 30 minutes. Like all parks, the concessions are pricey, but you are allowed to bring in your own water container and fill it with water from the fountains in the park. There are just enough rides to do everything in a day, so if you are looking for somewhere fun and exciting on your day off, take yourself or your whole family to Splashtown!
Horrible expierence. Park was shut down due to weather and no one let us know. They did not offer to refund our money, or give us a pass for another day. This was done to a very large group of guest. Some had spent $50] for their family to come enjoy the day and they did not even care. When you speak to a manager they showed no concern and walked away. If you try to speak with Corporate they will not return your calls or emails. Waste of money and poorly trained staff. Food is horrible, as well
Had a wonderful time. Fun rides. Good food. Good service. Lines werent too long.
Lots of fun! Get a season pass its worth it... If you go 2 times it pays for it.
Been going the past two years and love it! My 3 years old has a blast and the food was good. Went yesterday, opening day after Six Flags took over and I could already tell a difference...the showers were not designated a male/female side (we told a manager), parking increased to $20, food selections are smaller and more expensive, water was extremely cloudy. Hopefully they’ll get it together because I enjoy being my family!
This is a great place to take kids. My kids all love the rides. The value is incredible for members with all the being a friend free offers they have.
First time to visit here and I have to say it was awesome. A little pricey but what isnt these days lol. They still had some new construction going on but everything else appeared to be open. We got there when it opened so lines werent to bad. Pretty good food for an amusement park. Kids were happy and so was I. Will definitely be back.
Cool it was really fun.
I went on a Friday during the Summer. The waits weren’t more than about 20 minutes at the longest. I thought the thrill rides were great. Some only allow for 2 or 4 riders. So, if you go with a group of three that’s an issue. It wasn’t clearly displayed and caused some confusion. The staff isn’t friendly; so don’t expect great customer service. When we bought tickets, the person at the booth didn’t say anything except how much it cost for the tickets. I asked a guy at the entrance where the lockers were and he just gave us a map; never said a word. This was my first time in Houston; heard people were friendly here. Apparently that’s not a thing at Splashtown.
Apparently 6 Flags thinks its okay to almost double the ticket price to only have half of the rides and snack bars open. They only had one bartender who had no idea what she was doing. I will be taking my business and money to Typhoon Texas from now on. This place use to be great before 6 Flags owned it.
My kids and I go every weekend, during the summer. Surprisingly during the weekend its not too packed. But not that many chairs to put your things on, but nobody messes with your things. And the lines to the rides are not too long. A variety of things to do. The season pass is well worth it.
