Its an amazing park large distances between each group of gathering, clean well taken care off, clean restrooms, trash cans with plastic bags available in every area and barbecue grills available if you dont want to bring yours. There is a dog park and sports park also. .. you should bring your family for a fun day too .. birthday party or gender reveal party or just for a walk ..

Great Park. They have soccer fields, paths for running or biking. The public restrooms are remarkably clean. Plenty of tables and perfect spots for gathering.

Great place to go for an nice morning run, very secure, always have a constable there present for that peace of mind. Also a great place to bring kids and dog friendly. Highly recommended

Wife and I love coming here to see the doggos at their parks. You can sometimes see ducks, and turtles in the ponds. We recently fed some squirrels peanuts that a couple of teens shared with us for them. Its a nice atmosphere.

My kids and I really enjoyed it, for sure plenty to do from jogging or walking, your bike, backwoods walking rails or just feeding ducks at the pond, there is even an independent saxophone player buy the playground, based on donation. I strongly recommend the park.

Well maintained heavily trafficked asphalt walking path surrounding soccer fields, picnic tables, and a plethora of trees.Great place to train and/or try out new hiking gear before hitting the trails, since elevation is relatively flat. But watch out for the squirrels, they will walk up to you looking for food.

Meyer Park is a cool place . The East side good for families with small kids. A lot of fun for kids. The West side has trails as long as the East but it also has a dog park. Great place for dog owners.You can walk from the East side to Collins Park and it makes it fun to walk a Meyer Park.

This is a wonderful park! There are plenty of walkways and many different amenities inside of the park. From dog parks to soccer fields to playgrounds, this park has it all! Exercise equipment is scattered along walkways along the two halves of the park. There are ponds here and there bustling with wildlife. A wonderful place for yourself or friend/family!

We reserved the BBQ pavilion and it was great! Right next to the bathroom and there is a circle drive you can pull in to so that you can easily unload your car. We had a 6th birthday party and grilled fajitas- plenty of room to grill for 20 people or so and a sink to help clean up. We kept the place tidy and clean and would definitely recommend. Please clean up after yourself so that everyone can still enjoy these nice facilities! :-)

Love this park. Its full of trails, bodies of water, wildlife to watch and even the occasional soccer game. For parents, theres an excellent play area. And the parking lot has loads of space! My pup and I love walking here and folks are usually either super friendly or super focused in their exercising. Thats code for theyll either say hello or totally ignore ya. But its all cool. (Dude! Look at the turtles sunbathing! Awesome! )

I enjoy this park for my walks/runs. The trail is clean and changes. I get about three and a half miles in when thats my focus. The only con is bike riders ride the trails when the can ride on the grass. (They have mountain bikes, minus mountains).Smile, say hi, its TEXAS FRIENDLY

We are visiting Mayer park every weekend since 1 month. Very nice park and open space with lots of tree and picnic table. Kids enjoyed a lot with their bikes and scooters. Also not much crowd if you visit it around 9 or 10 AM so very safe for maintaining distance from other.

Playgrounds, soccer fields, bike and walking trails on asphalt or dirt. Can connect into other parks. A great place for the community.

The park is clean, family friendly and the trails are great. There is a lake, play grounds and soccer goals. People are very friendly and the dog area is separate from several trails. A great place to play, exercise, or relax.

I love this park!! They have concessions too!! Parking can sometimes be a chore though. Timing is everything. Either get their early before they have all their different games, or get there a little later in the afternoon when the athletes are leaving. Be careful on the trails, we did have a baby copperhead cross our path! We did see a bunch of turtles too! And, they got nutria rats. They won’t chase or attack and everyone gets confused as to what they are. This one dude was feeding them veggies and it took it right out his hand. The paths to walk on are nice and wide with just the right amount of nature.

This is my neighborhood park. Its often patrolled, its clean, and its big enough for everyone. The pavements are very even, and it has two ponds on one side, and a large dog park on the other side.

I love coming here with my dog. Sometimes we like to just walk around and relax or go to the dog park. Its the perfect place to read a book, bring the family for a picnic or to get some excercise and check out the wild life. The dog park is huge and has hoses to clean your pet after.

Excellent park for walking, biking and running. Paved and dirt trails for miles, along with restroom facilities. Very secure parking and consistent police presence make it one of the safest parks in the area.Pictures were taken at dawn in late April.

Beautiful park with lots of trails. Lots of space to bike, hike, rollerblade or skate. Lots of soccer fields throughout. Got to show the kids some Nutria cruising around in one of the small ponds. Multiple play areas for the young ones as well. The other side of the park has a large fenced in dog park. Will be bringing the family back again soon.

The play structures are small, old, and out dated. For a mega park in the area hosting many sports events and hundreds of visitirs a day, you would think the city would replace and upgrade them. Fingers crossed. The hiking and river are outstanding. The wildlife is super fun. Lots of parking. Restrooms.

Enormous park with ten or so soccer fields, a basketball court, a baseball field, miles of paved trails, a fishing pond, various wildlife collections, outdoor play equipment, a fitness trail and a nature trail. Its almost always busy; everybody loves going to the park.I like the paved trails. Theyre well-maintained, and theres a wide variety of scenery, from forested to field.

One of the best parks around NWKids dig the playgrounds (3) one for toddlers and two for bigger ones; plus swings.Great for nature walks, it has ponds and small lakes for sight seeing and feeding turtles. Plenty of fields soccer and a baseball. Bike and running trails

Love it! Its very clean throughout, bathrooms included :) it has a variety of options for children of all ages, including a covered park, especially for those rainy days or if you just dont want to be directly under the sun. Plenty of parking and picnic tables. Lots of benches throughout the trails, just in case you need to catch your breath or just admire the wooded surroundings.

Love coming here. Lots of kids for my daughter to play with. Three different play sets for various age groups. Nice trails for running or walking. Well kept soccer fields. Wild animals and caged birds. There are also public bathrooms and water fountains.

Whats not to love about Meyer Park? From the beautiful grounds, the dog park and duck pond, to the walking trails, playground, and historical area, this gem of a place has been one of my familys favorite places to make memories. Weve had picnics, flown kites, and fed nutrias. Last year, I married my husband in the gazebo on the north side of the park! I love my community and am thankful for this lovely park.

Fun park with all the hidden trails

I grew up going to this park. I have been going here for over 20 years now. I have my own family now and I take them here all of the time. It makes me very nostalgic, always reminding me of the late 90’s.

I went to the park yesterday with my son and a friend. Thank God for my friend who spotted a snake few ft from us. It scared me as I was with my 2year walking by the water. The park was full today with lots of kids and adults. It would be better if they took some precautions to prevent that from happening. Didn’t catch or kill the snake, meaning that it is still out there. Be safe everyone, keep your eyes open.

The only problem I see is the politics with the soccer fields. Is this park public or privately owned by the various leagues?Could be better if there were more basketball courts. I think there is only one. Covered would be great.

Meyer park is overall a very clean, family friendly park, and while I was looking for trash to pick up I could hardly find any it was so clean! But I did pick up the trash I could find to help contribute but overall Meyer park is a great park.

They have 3 different play areas based off of age. A trail to walk around, fish pond, fields to play sports, benches & a lot of other things. Its very nice the weekend seems to be the busiest of course.
