Nice place. A little off the main track and not very noticeable if you dont know where it is. However, large airy inside with tables spaced well apart and doors open for extra air flow and outside drinking if you prefer (standing). I asked for a wheat beer similar to Blue Moon, and whatever I received was excellent - really enjoyable.

The name sake brewery of Southern Pines! It has a big parking lot so there is plenty of parking and usually a food truck outside so you can get something to munch on afterwards.I ended up getting a flight of bartenders choice and ended up getting the Dead Man Suit & Thai, Delightful Devil, Full Throttle, and their classic Man of Law. The Suit & Thai is a dark stout that is spicy (Thai chili spicy ) that is smooth and bold. It has a low level heat that lingers if you are into that. The Delightful Devil is also very smooth with a slight velvety texture that will lure you in. Its a Belgian Tripel so you know that its a easy one to down.The Full Throttle is light tasting as if you were to travel at the speed of light. Its enjoyable and even easier to down that is very comprable to the Delightful Devil. Definitely worth having!Lastly, their most prized beer is the Man of Law. This is even a smoother beer compared to Delightful Devil and Full Throttle. This trio makes for an extremely delightful flight. Its an American IPA and is just what I would envision--something assertive and free! Overall, great local brewery with exceptional brews. Keep on keeping on!!

They are very kind to runners and let the just pop in and out without a mask so they dont have to deal with the hot air they let tons of runners stand in their parking lot and they are very supportive

Im a bit of a beer fanatic and have had the pleasure of visiting many breweries in many countries, but in my book there are two types of beer: Southern Pines and everything else. These are some of the best and most creative beers Ive ever had. I live out of state and always take several 6-packs with me to go back home. 7/5 stars

While in my opinion, going to the brewery leaves something to be desired, the beer itself is absolutely amazing. Its unfortunate that restaurants only seem to carry their IPA. I definitely would recommend enjoying their beer whenever and wherever it is offered!

A decent place. Not much room inside and on our visit, the service was a bit slow for the small crowd size that was present. The beers are awesome, however, the atmosphere could be a lot better. The food truck that was out in their parking lot was superb on the day that we visited. This brew pub has a lot of potential. Theres always the yoga beeracize

Horrible service and atmosphere. Been coming here for nearly two years and it hasn’t changed. Very frustrating because this place has so much potential.

Had a group outing here while attending a conference in Pinehurst. Staff took great care of us and the beer is excellent. Plan on visiting again the next time were in town.

Great stop on my way to Raleigh! Beautiful brewery solid beer, and they had offering from local farmers which was totally unique! If you are in the area just go ahead and do yourself a favor and stop.

Pretty standard NC brewery, solid beers, on the good side. Bartender was pretty rude. Space was mediocre. No food.

This is an awesome local bar that is relaxed and family friendly. My friends and I had a great time. The bar keeps were generous and polite. Would 10/10 recommend!

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ive met Mike and Chelsea. Great people. They have a very diverse offering that goes well beyond the requisite East and West coast IPAs. Lots of small batch special runs. Youll always find something different and cool there.

Great atmosphere and beverages! Very good service from the bartender, who was pleasant and helpful. The brewery is also extremely clean.

Stop by a couple weekends ago and Chelsea was my bartender. She was so hospitable and gracious in teaching me on each individual beer!

Here for the Johnny Cash Tribute. Very disappointed in the ticket prices for beer/wine. Wine tickets were twice as much as beer and you get only half glass! How does that seem fair? I understand its a brewery and a fundraiser, but seriously? And only 2 food trucks to choose from.. BBQ and Tacos...?Not very organized for a fundraiser inside building to get that double priced, half glass of wine, either.

Drove 35 mins to get in line at the lobster truck at 1545hrs. Got our food at 1635hrs. Oh wait ... my wife got HER food almost an hour after getting in line. I didnt. Because the lobster truck ran out of lobster. Not kidding. Waited all that time in the order line only to be told they didnt have any more lobster tails. Only the brisk or things using chopped giant sea scorpion. Several of us noticed the staff was moving just slower than the speed of smell so that explains the wait. Not sure why they ran out of lobster.Going inside after my wife finally got her food we found there was nowhere to eat. The brewery is just a small bar with few tables and little bar space. No tours or anything. People were packed in and several were getting irritated trying to order. I finally got a plastic cup of something for $14. Yes ... $14. So we took our high dollar beer and over priced lobster soup to the car ... ate ... drank our beer ... and went home shaking our heads.

Warehouse exterior but very welcoming taproom inside. Nice selection of locally crafted beer and friendly service. No food was available during my visit although Im told food trucks frequent the parking lot. Work stopping in and supporting this local business.

I asked them on instant messenger if they had a menu they said we do! When hubby and I got there the bartender told us they dont serve food. Lucky for us there was a food truck out in the parking lot that had pretty good food. Dont say you have a menu if you dont.

Some of the best beer in North Carolina. The team at Southern Pines Brewing does a great job coming up with new beers and events. They now offer a running club and yoga. They regularly host food trucks, so you dont have to worry about leaving hungry. The staff is friendly and the beer never disappoints.

10 beers on tap but a flight had to have 3 of their worst beers so you only get to choose 1 additional. The bottom 5 on the menu were good with Box-o-Barleywine being my favorite. The BBA German Chocolate Cake Stout was decedent (stick to a taster of it).No customer wifi in a low 3G zone? Boo.

Good selection of very good beers. Wide variety of types to satisfy different likes. Crowlers and Growler fills available. Bartender was very good, friendly and professional. Only thing that could be improved is the space is small and they do not serve any food. Was sort of surprised at the large number of very young kids thst were there at the time we were. With them not serving food wouldnt think it would be a popular spot to bring kids.

Shared this wonderful venue with out of town friends. They enjoyed the tasters and left with a couple of six - packs to take home.

One if best micro-breweries I have been to. Excellent beer, warm setting, usually have food trucks out front! A Southern Pines gem!

This place isnt just a brewery. It is a Pilar of this community. A gathering place for friends and strangers alike. They may not serve food but you will always find a top notch food truck right outside in their huge parking lot. You have to travel to the blue ridge mountains to find higher quality brews. Dont be fooled by the other breweries in the area. This is what you are looking for.

Didnt go for the food trucks... they werent there. Didnt go for the food period... they dont have any. Went for the beer... they have plenty. Would go again and again, but make sure to take a pizza with you.

You cant find better beer in Moore county. The owners obviously put a lot of care and attention into their brewing process. The selection rotates regularly as they try out new batches. I have yet to find a beer of theirs that I dont like. The taproom has a great bar top, and a very friendly staff. Unlike most bars, it isnt packed wall to wall with people, and isnt very loud inside. Popularity has exploded recently. I wouldnt be surprised if Southern Pines Brewing expands eventually to accommodate their popularity. You cant visit the Sandhills without making a stop here.

So nice to have such a quality brewery in our back yard. This exceeds many of the breweries Ive visited (spent too much time in). Wish there werent so many Belgiums/sours and they focused on their IPAs/stouts, as I feel they do those extremely well.

Great atmosphere, the beer was very happy for my taste. If you like IPAs then youll really enjoy it.

This place has ingrained itself in the community in the short time it has been open. They serve beer at every event, host local food trucks and bands, and showcase local wood working. They are quintessential Southern Pines. It doesnt hurt that they have some great beers too :)

Great local brewery. Some good but pricey food trucks out front. Nice for a group hang out spot. Fun events (runs/yoga clubs / etc.)Definitely one good server, others are kinda ehhh. Can be a mix of chill to up tight cheeser crowd.I still highly recommend this place.

Amazing! Their beer is wonderful and always new styles to try. The staff is very friendly and they are always coming up with new events. The brew runs on Mondays have been great :)

Southern Pines Brewing Co is a gem of a brewery. They are constantly rolling out new beers, rivaling the quality of the very best southern breweries. The bartenders are prompt and friendly. The only downside is the location--its a bit out of the way, which makes it hard to incorporate into other plans during the evening.

Best beer in NC outside of Asheville, and sometimes including Asheville (if they have a barrel aged beer on tap!). The tasting room is great, food trucks are great, people are great. One of the 3 best features of the Southern Pines/Pinehurst area.
