Passing thru- enjoyed a very brief walk/leg stretch in the park. Right on the river, great photo ops!

This is my favorite place to take a walk or just sit. The white noise from the river is comforting and the green surrounding the area is nice. Its a little bit of nature tucked into downtown.

Im using passing through Shreveport and not visiting. I was missing out. I will definitely go back again to take it more sites.

Landscaping definitely need some attention...

Its a nice place to spend sometime around the evening or early mornings and enjoy the serenity of red river view, theres also an open theatre ... Its surrounded by the sciport and close to the downtown aquarium..

Clean, air conditioned. Nice security. Free informative video about the Red River, and small museum. Info about life jackets. Stickers for kids, pocket knives for adults.

Good walking running that kind of stuff

The park is beautiful when the weather is mild. It is mostly lit and feels safe at night. A good place to stroll with a pet and enjoy the view.

Great place for prom pics

This park does not exist. However if you go on down the street a bit there are picnic tables on the left.

Very relaxing

Great place to take pictures and take the family for a nice walk if you near downtown. Beautiful spots also to take of the Red River from the Shreveport side. Parking is also free or you can park in the aquarium. Do a two for one, visit the park and the aquarium and make a day of it you wont be disappointed.

Wanted to go to the splash pad after a hot morning at the Farmers market and it looks like the splash pad hasnt worked in a long time! Dont advertise that as a feature if it doesnt work. Even the fountain was bone dry.

My favorite chill spot in town. It would be nice if the restrooms were ever open and they could maintain it a little better. For example, the fountain broke and flooded... And it hasnt been fixed for more than a month now

I like the Red River path i am able to enjoy nature while Ill get some exercise with minimal traffic!

Good place to walk or bike

Rockets over the Red was amazing! Fun for the kids and incredible fireworks show to end it! Thanks Shreveport!

This place has been forgotten by our city. It used to be fabulous.

Probably the most scenic spot in Shreveport and a good spot to spend the afternoon

The dock is closed due to the rise and fall of the river, but otherwise its a beautiful park. Worth the visit

Went out to the Shreveport Riverview Park on a recent trip to the Eldorado Hotel and Casino. Very nice and sunny day to be out and about. Very calm and peaceful park next to both Samstown and The Eldorado casinos. Also next to the Aquarium. Plenty of seating and items to see visually. Across from the Space Center downtown. Plenty of food nearby. Great place for kids and the park was very clean. On my day, workers were cleaning and landscaping the park.
